This study was undertaken to compare the effectiveness of imparting education to nursing college students, using traditional teaching methods and action learning teaching methods. The target of the study was to measure nursing leadership, academic self-efficacy, and self-preservation of the students, and determine the effects of action learning method imparted 2 hours daily for 8 weeks, out of the 15-week study schedule. Ed. Notes: There is a lot of repetition, and the highlighted statement lacks clarity. I am unable to understand the study period. Does the author mean 2 hrs daily for 8 weeks? Differences obtained between nursing leadership, academic self-efficacy, and self-leadership when comparing the experimental and control groups, were analyzed by independent sample t-test. Pre and post comparisons of the domains were analyzed with a paired t-test. The study results indicate significant differences in academic self-efficacy and self-preservation between experimental and control groups after application of the action learning teaching method, leadership in nursing as a lower area, confidence in academic self-efficiency, and self-control efficacy. Our results indicate that the recently emerged action-learning teaching is an effective method to apply in existing curriculums.

This study addresses the plan and methods of teaching/learning ethical aspects of science in the secondary schools, which were developed by the authors based on their 3 year research on ethical aspects of science and its teaching/learning. The general teaching/learning plan is composed of the instructional objectives of teaching/learning ethical aspect of science, its teaching/learning method and strategies, curricular content, and assessment. The article also attempted to describe a few words of care to keep in mind when apply the model and methods in the science classrooms.

본 논문은 초등정보교육과정의 "문제해결방법과 절차" 영역에 필요한 초등 교육용 프로그래밍 언어교육을 실시하는데 사용될 수 있는 PBL 및 스캐폴딩 교수학습 모형을 초등 수업에 적용하고 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 두리틀 프로그래밍 언어를 적용하였고, 두 가지 교수학습 모형을 적용한 교수학습방법을 실시한 후 학생들의 학업 성취도 및 교육용 프로그래밍 언어에 대한 흥도 측면을 비교 분석하였다.

The purpose of this study has been found to be effective using web-based instruction than traditional teaching-learning method on academic achievement applying the meta-analysis method. The results of this study were as follows: First, The 85% subject of analysis of web-based instruction selected in this study turned out to be clear effective than traditional teaching-learning method in academic achievement of students. Second, Web-based instruction is more effective for academic achievement of elementary school students and university students than for middle school students and high school students relatively. Third, Web-based instruction is a most effective method in social subject and physical education but less effective in language subject. The overall results of this study concluded more powerful and big decisions which have integrated each different effects on academic achievement of studies web-based instruction method applying meta-analysis. Through this study, make better results were obtained and suggested the base line data and direction for follow up studies.

Whether the engineering department of universities employs ideal usage of e-learning or not needs to be investigated as many engineering departments diversify the use of the e-learning elements for educational purpose. Applying the teaching and learning methods and characteristics would lead to better strategies which are applied to development of contents and deployment of the e-learning courses. This study examines the characteristics and approaches of the usage of e-learning elements used by some instructors who use multimedia contents in offline teaching and learning environment. The results of this study shows that the e-learning elements assist the face-to-face course and the interactions are manifested in the classroom rather than in online setting. Lecture, hands-on-practice, simulation, and PBL(Problem-based learning) are turned out to be the major teaching and learning methods. This study signifies the need for use of various teaching and learning methods by the instructors and provision of PBL environment.

In this paper I present the teaching strategies and methods of programming education based on the learning style which teachers can apply it to their class on condition that learning style can classify their students' preferences about learning strategies and methods. Recent related researches that prove the differences about student's specific abilities based on their learning styles could never help teachers design and do their teaching of programming in the class. Therefore this study about teaching strategies and methods of programming education will be necessarily. I propose the teaching strategies and methods of programming education based on the learning styles as a results of questionnaire to some professors of computer science education in university. Then, I design and do programming education in the experimental class in order to verify the availability of the proposed teaching strategies and methods. After teaching in class, I evaluate the statistical results of students' achievement test of programming. This study has some restrictions about small number of class and periods of teaching programming, but it will be a good case study about teaching strategies and methods of programming education based on the learning style.

According to the revised guideline for information & communication technology, algorithm has to be dealt with the learning contents from elementary school, so now it needs to study various educational methods for students to learn algorithm easily and effectively. In this study, after selecting sort algorithms as the content of learning, which is recognized as an important part of algorithm, an playing activity-based algorithm teaching method and an animation-based algorithm learning and teaching method were applied for the lower graders of an elementary school. Sorting algorithm education is adopted in two different ways, then we got two conclusions after analyzing the results of a specially designed achievement test and the questionnaire. First, there were not great differences in both educational methods in academic achievement, but it was clear that the lower grade elementary students can learn algorithm with ease. Second, the playing activity-centered algorithm education is more effective than animation-based education in improving students' comprehension, interest and satisfaction.

외국어를 학습하는 데 있어서 해당 외국어의 의사소통 능력을 향상시키고 평가한다는 것은 상당히 큰 중요성을 가진다. 교실에서 학습자의 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기 능력을 통해 학습자의 언어 능력을 함양하고 평가하기 위해 어떠한 연습문제나 시험 혹은 평가방법을 사용하느냐 하는 것은 학습자의 학습동기에 지대한 영향을 미친다. 왜냐하면, 보통 학습자들은 교수자가 무엇을 가르치고 기대하며 평가하느냐에 따라 자신들의 학습방법을 맞춰 나가기 때문이다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 보다 적극적인 학습자들의 참여를 유도하고 유연성 있는 학습자 중심의 학습법을 고양시키며 다양한 언어능력을 고취시키기 위하여, 효과적인 외국어 학습법의 하나로 알려진 paraphrasing을 학습에 활용하고자 한다. 특히 paraphrasing은 일상생활 속에서도 의사소통을 원활히 하기 위한 수단으로서 글 바꿔 쓰기 혹은 말 바꿔 말하기로 활용되기도 하나, 본 소논문에서는 paraphrasing이 학습을 목적으로 하는 학습현장에서 활용되었다는 것을 감안하여 의역을 통한 학습 혹은 의역학습법을 소개하고자 한다. 실제로 paraphrasing은 언어 및 외국어 학습자들에게 상당히 효과가 있는 것으로 알려진 것에 비해 실제로 한국어 교육현장에서 사용한 연구들은 거의 찾아 볼 수가 없다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 따라서, 의역학습법을 학습현장에서 도입했을 때 경험한 여러 시행착오를 바탕으로 실질적으로 교실에서 사용된 예시들을 소개하고, 한국어를 가르치는 교수자들과 한국어를 배우는 외국인 학습자들에게 paraphrasing을 사용한 새로운 한국어 교수방법과 평가 도구를 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해, paraphrasing이 한국어를 가르치는 교수자들과 한국어를 배우고자 하는 외국 학습자들에게 효과적인 언어학습 도구로서 실질적으로 교육현장에서 널리 사용될 수 있는 계기가 되었으면 한다.

본 연구는 고등학교 1학년 학습부진아를 위하여, 자연과학의 기초가 되고, 학습의 전이가 높다고 생각되는 수학 교과를 중심으로 학습부진아의 특성을 규명하고 학습부진아를 위한 교수, 학습방법, 수학적 능력향상, 학습부진아에게 새로운 흥미와 학습 의욕을 야기 시켜 보다 효율적인 지도방법, 학습부진아의 원인을 규명하고, 개인차에 알맞은 학습과 현장에서 나타나는 문제점을 해소하여 학습부진아를 위한 교재를 개발하여 학습의 전의력을 높임으로써 수학교과 학습능력을 향상시키기 위한 교수, 학습 모형을 구성 적용하고, 학습에 대한 태도를 바람직한 방향으로 변화시키고, 학습부진아를 위한 효율적인 지도방법을 연구하고자 한다.

최근 학교 현장에서는 전통적인 교수 학습 방법을 탈피한 정보통신기술을 활용한 교수 학습 방법은 거스를 수 없는 정보화 사회의 새로운 교수 학습 모형으로 보편화되어 가고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현실 여건을 개선하고 교육과정이 요구하는 목표 달성을 위하여 학생들의 인터넷 사용의 대부분을 차지하는 커뮤니티 활동을 미니홈페이지라는 공간을 통해 교사와 학생 사이에 학습과 대화의 장으로 활용하기 위해 ICT 활용 교육 커뮤니티를 구축하였다. 이를 활용하여 학생들이 학습에 대한 관심과 흥미를 유발하고 시간과 장소에 구애를 받지 않으며 학생 자신이 주도적으로 학습 과제를 해결하는 학습과정으로 교수 학습 방법의 개선을 통하여 학생의 자기주도적 학습 능력이 신장되도록 ICT 활용 교육을 활성화하여 ICT 활용 교육이 우리 학교 현장에 튼튼히 뿌리를 내리는 데에 기여하고자 HTML학습을 위한 홈페이지를 블로그툴을 이용하여 구현하였다.
