The research examines the discussions on school education depicted in Suhomlinsky's works. After that, their implications upon our education are discussed. The results of this research are as follows: Suhomlinsky considered the enrichment of the learners mental life as a primary goal of education. Therefore, school education must ensure that children's learning be a part of their abundant mental life, and that it must contribute to the building of children's wisdom and their becoming a whole being as humans. In this perspective, Suhomlinsky emphasized the importance of education that enriches the mental life through reading books. He insists that education through reading books is a valuable course in lifelong education, and suggests specific ways to put it into practice. He points out the need for the students' liberty to think freely in schools, and claimed that providing students with breaks and free times is a way to obtain invaluable treasures. His experinences in educational practices may provide implications that will help solve the problems our education faces today.

By examining the experience of residential child care staffs, this study explored the multifaceted aspects of inclusive care and discussed the direction of successful inclusive education implementation in residential child care facilities. Interviews were conducted with 10 care staffs experienced inclusive education at residential child care facilities, and qualitative case study method was used to analyze transcribing data. Care staffs were reluctant to carry out inclusive education. They felt guilty due to not enough care either for disabled or non-disabled children in the process of adapting to inclusive education. They were calling for immediate communication channels to get the necessary support on time. They also recognized needs for professional education for care staffs regarding care of disabled children, and to dispatch special education teachers. It was found that all participants in the study disagreed on three-shift policy. Lastly, the support measures according to the multifaceted aspects of inclusive care in residential child care facilities were discussed.

Recently, interest in programming and artificial intelligence is continuously increasing, and software education is being implemented as a mandatory education from elementary school. For efficient programming education, it is basically necessary to build a lab environment suitable for students and teachers, but there are performance problems due to the inadequacy of old computers and network equipment. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a web page-based online practice environment and algorithm competition scoring system using React and Spring boot to solve the problem of the programming practice environment. Through this, it is thought that programming learning can be carried out using only a web browser even on low-spec computers. In addition, since various programming languages can be learned irrespective of the language to be learned, it is considered that the time cost for establishing a practice environment can be reduced.

In order to achieve this goal of programming education, it is necessary to basically establish a lab environment suitable for students and teachers. However, there is a problem with performance problems caused by old computers in the lab environment of the school, and there is a problem that students must purchase and use the existing online platform while implementing an algorithm contest program in which students access and evaluate their problem-solving ability at the same time. Therefore, in this paper, to solve this problem, we propose a web-based online practice environment and algorithm contest scoring system using React and Spring boot. Through this, it is believed that even in a computer with low specifications, programming can be studied using only a web browser.

Now, more than any other time, education experts in Korea are focusing on the importance of reading. Based on this circumstance. it is necessary to introduce and develop reading assessments in the library and information science. The research introduces reading assessment tools from a psychological standpoint for the purpose of increasing reading efficiency through literature reviews. There are four categories reading attitude, interest, motivation and perception on reading. Also the research presents the suggestion to make a new reading assessment tool at a later time. When developing reading assessment tools from a psychological standpoint, it is necessary to establish the items through which how a student feels himself or herself as a reader, and subsequently how teachers, parents, and friends feel the student as a reader. Besides establishing of these appropriate items. a developer should provide directions for administration and interpretation.

The purpose of this study is that I should look for a desirous directions about home economics by studying the requirements and perception of the high school parents who have finished the course of home economics. It was about 600 parents whom I have searched Seoul-Pusan, Ganwon. Ghynggi province, Choongcheong-Gyungsang province, Cheonla and Jeju province of 600, I chose only 560 as apparently suitable research. The questions include 61 requirements about home economics and one which we never fail to keep among the contents, whenever possible and one about the perception of home economics aims 11 about the perception of home economics courses and management. The collections were analyzed frequency, percent, mean. standard deviation t-test by using SAS program. The followings is the summary result of studying of it. 1. All the boys and girls learning together about the Idea of healthy lives and desirous human formulation and knowledge together are higher. 2. Among the teaching purposes of home economics, the item of the scientific principle and knowledge for improvements of home life shows 15.7% below average value. 3. The recognition degree about the quality of home economics is highly related with the real life, and about the system. we recognize lacking in periods and contents of home economics field and about guiding content, accomplishment and application qualities are higher regardless of sex. 4. The important term which we should emphasize in the subject of home economics is family part. 5. Among the needs of home economic requirement in freshman, in the middle unit, their growth and development are higher than anything else, representing 4.11, and by contrast the basic principle and actuality is 3.70, which is lowest among them. 6. In the case of second grade requirement of home economics content for parents in the middle unit young man and consuming life is 4.09 highest. 7. In the case of 3rd grade requirement of economics contents in the middle unit the choice of coming direction and job ethics is highest 4.16, and preparing meals and evaluation is lowest 3.50.

This study is to design, develope, and deploy of e-learning inquiry based content in elementary science class. First, this study analyzed related literature review, case studies, and inquiry based class models for seeking better applicable design and development modes. From focus group meeting, experts discussed the inquiry content design ideas for elementary students for science class. This study finally established its own inquiry design mode for online science class with the flow of understanding of problem, sep up hypothesis, problem solving, and solution analysis. The developed content was deployed in real classroom setting to see how students received the contents and how well they processed the learning activities. We found that inquiry based online content, especially when applied to science subject, can be effective in students interests and their motivations. We also observed that there were a few managerial errors such as detailed lesson guidance and tutor support for students activities. This study concluded that inquiry based online contents should be designed considering students interests based on learning subjects and also developed in terms of students interests and strong motivation as well. We suggest that related research should be expanded toward to other subject than science and various students age groups.

We investigated middle school students' awareness of Han-style(Korean cuture) in order to promote it, and developed and applied the Teaching-Learning Lesson Plan according to the traditional clothing culture contents related to Han Style. We selected 5 major fields representing Han Style including Han-gul(Korean alphabet). Han-sik(Korean food). Han-bok(Korean traditional clothes). Han-ji(Korean traditional paper), and Han-ok(Korean traditional house). We analyzed the contents of the food, clothing and shelter in 6 types of high school testbooks under the revised 7th national curriculum, and chose seven traditional clothing-lifestyle culture contents. Also we developed 14-period processes and materials(9 for teachers. 9 for students and 3 for and applied it to usual classes. The mean score of middle school students' awareness of Han Style in the post-test was significantly higher than that in the pre-test. Students evaluated it positively that the classes could raise the pride on the Han-culture and provoke the interest in it through the direct experiencing activities. We suggest that the various themes on Han-style should be developed, and the theoretical classes on the identity as well as the experiencing activities on it.

The Purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between elementary and middle school students’ depression and their mothers’ parenting stress. The subject were 659 elementary and middle school students and their mothers. In the study, elementary and middle school students depression appeared significant difference to their sex/grade. Parenting stress related to learning expectation appeared significant difference to elementary and middle school students’ sex/grade. Elementary and middle school students depression appeared significant difference to Parenting stress. And as for correlating parenting stress to elementary and middle school students’ depression, the significance appeared in these factors.

The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate the practical problem-based lesson plan for high school home economics class focusing on consumer choice of genetically modified(GM) food. The ADDIE instructional design model was applied. The first analysis step, practical problems were chosen based on the previous studies and the educational goal suggested in the 2007 revised curriculum. The next design and development steps, 4 hours of lesson plans were developed by reconstitution a chapter of Food Safety. Additional learning materials(17 student activity papers, 17 student reading materials, 3 teacher reading materials) were also developed. The implementation step, the lesson plans developed were applied to the S high school students in Bundang, Geyonggi-do. The last evaluation step, the perception change about GM food and the adequacy of teaching method were evaluated. As results, the studens' attitudes and minds towards the GM food were changed. The level of concern on GM food increased, and the ratio of students who would check whether GM food or not was increased. Also students showed high level of satisfaction on teaching method and materials.
