Even though it is expected the industry on new media contents will be grown constantly, corporate feels that the related specialists, human resources are so lack and it is real that the specialty level on related personnel, skilled works is low. In current situation, it is essential that the active supports will be given to new media contents industry with constant high quality human resource development as a winning point to success. Therefore the curriculum development must be reflected the current field situation in this industry for the human resource to meet the field corporate requirements. The DACUM method is used to develop the curriculum on this study in order to develop the college level human resources who have active adoptability to corporate in new media contents industry.

In this paper, we have developed electronic textbooks for social studies centering on contents of a public educational process so that primary schools can use them as a text book. Also, we conducted a survey to find out how teachers perceived electronic textbooks in respect to site accessibility and utility, instructional design, progress of lesson, validity and accuracy of learning content, interface design, and web-based multimedia. In this paper, we presented a new model for electronic textbooks development, which is expected to be useful in developing electronic textbooks as a main text book, unlike other existing models. We applied the navigation utilizing book metaphors to the user interface, on the basis of the results from the analysis of the existing electronic textbooks. In addition, we provided affluent multi-media materials as well as hyperlink, a strong point of on-lines. Experimental results show that the academic achievement was high in knowledge-understanding areas and functional areas in the perspective of academic achievements of the learners.

The IT(Information Technology) is very important growth power in the knowledge information based society. But there is nothing an educational program or system for putting the computer science education in the primary and secondary school into practice. We can talk this problem because of the national curriculum. This existing state brings to a conclusion not only to the political and administrative support but also to the national curriculum. These internal problems are two. First problem is the content in the computer textbook. And second problem is the connection between the computer science education curriculum of university and that of primary and secondary school. This study analyzed the relation about it. And this study suggested the ideal method for connecting those of them. Finally, the results of this study are two. First result is the necessary to reconstruct the domain knowledge of the computer based on the computer science for getting the identity. And second result is necessary to connect between the domain knowledge of the computer based on the computer science identity of university and that of primary and secondary school.

The purpose of this study is to examine how elementary pre-service teachers have a perception of 'science'. Especially, this study used photo-narrative method to analysis pre-service teachers' perception of 'science'. Photo-narrative is a way of describing what a study participant wants to say by taking a picture. Participants were 66 elementary pre-service teachers. The results of this study were as follows: First, elementary pre-service teachers used many words such as people, life, everyday as well as scientific terms such as phenomena and principles to explain science. Secondly, the pictures used by elementary pre-service teachers to explain science included household goods, natural phenomena, advanced devices, and living things. Third, elementary pre-service teachers explained science with knowledge of science, knowledge, convenience, and nature of science. As a result of this study, it was found that elementary pre-service teachers recognized that science is closely related to life and that it is necessary for learning. The results of this study can contribute not only to curriculum composition and curriculum content of elementary and middle school science education but also to curriculum development for teacher training.
Recently, the tendency in the education system is toward the convergent curriculum to developing people of interdisciplinary abilities. This study was conducted to develop a clinical competence assessment program that assists health department students' clinical practice and to examine its learning effects. Study samples were composed 94 graduating student nurses who were from nursing dept of on M city. This study employed a one-group pre-post test design. knowledge, clinical competence and professional images were significantly higher in post test group. That was enhanced by clinical competence assessment program than that of the pretest group (p<.001). The results indicate that it will help students in clinical adaptability of the department of healthcare-Affiliated. Further study will be needed to identify the effect of a clinical competence and communication skills.
This paper is aimed to design for qualification structure and criteria for preparation of qualification test of computer operation engineer. In this study, a DACUM(Development A curriculum) method job analysis to extract contents such as task range, grades or ranks, eligibility, examination standards, selection criteria of examination questions, examination methods, etc was done by an job analysis committee composed of 7 specialists in the industry and academia. In the first place, this report presents job analysis models by procedures for developing selection criteria of examination questions of computer operation engineer. The first step is preparation for job analysis(data research, interviews and selection of experts), the second step the establishment of job models(first expert council and site study), the third step the drawn-out of knowledge, skills, and tools(the second expert council and site study), the fourth step the selection of courses and subjects(the third expert council), the fifth step the establishment of guidelines for making questions(the third site study).
The purpose of this study was to analyze the strengths and weaknesses resulting from a study of elementary mathematics lessons among in-service teachers and to discuss implications for the direction of improvement of the study on elementary mathematics lessons based on teacher learning community. The results of this study showed that the study on elementary mathematics lessons based on teacher learning community improved teacher knowledge related to teaching mathematics, enhanced teacher's accomplishment and self-esteem, made it possible for participant teachers to teach one another, created atmosphere in which teachers investigated instruction via sustainable and systematic lesson study. However, some limitations were noticed such as regulations by the social norms of the teacher learning community, the influence of an expert teacher, teachers' unprofessional decision making, and lack of systematic evaluation and reflection on lessons. Based on these results, this paper closes with critical implications to enhance teacher learning community.
In this study, we identified the elements of teachers'expertise for the science gifted in science high school, and examined teacher perceptions of expertise. Through previous studies and expert consultations, 5 categories such as subject knowledge, inquiry teaching, pedagogical knowledge, student guidance and school work were derived. Based on these 5 categories and sub-element, a questionnaire was constructed. Total 284 mathematics and science teachers from 19 science high schools across the country responded to the survey. The desirable level of expertise and current level of responding teachers' own expertise were examined and compared to each other, and group comparisons were accomplished according to teacher career, type of degree and final degree. Some implications are suggested for the professional development for teachers of the science gifted.

The purpose of this study is to provide a useful reference for the elementary school mathematics curriculum of Japan. For this research, we compare the new version of the elementary school mathematics curriculum of Japan and Korea. Roughly speaking, Japan emphasized learning through mathematical ability. On the other hand, the case of Korea, a special emphasis was placed on the ability of problem-solving and mathematical communication. These abilities developed on the base of the mathematical knowledge and skill. The ratio of teaching time are high on mathematics, but Japan ensures much more hours than Korea. Finally we will focus on the result for the application process of the primary school mathematics curriculum.
The purpose of this study was three-folded to suggest the Simplifying Conditions Method (SCM) as a means of task analysis and sequencing of instructional content, to develop teaching-learning materials by analyzing part of the geological time scale of the earth science and finally to analyze the effectiveness of this method. SCM began by simplifying a complex task into the basic components by eliminating various complexities, which produced a simple representative of the entire task. The next step was to relax conditions on the basic version one by one, thereby gradually introducing progressively more complex tasks to the students. This sequential strategy enabled students to understand the task holistically and to acquire authentic skills from very onset of the course. Moreover, Early mastery of skills enhances the effectiveness and efficiency of instruction. The result of this study revealed that instruction through SCM was more effective in developing students' self-directed learning characteristics and academic achievement than instruction through sequential task analysis methodology.
