This study aims to improve the quality of classes by analyzing the role and learning achievement of instructors in programming subjects for non-major students. In order to improve the quality of university education, universities provide various programs to strengthen the teaching capacity of instructors. Ultimately, in order to improve the quality of classes, instructors increase student participation in classes, respond sincerely to students' inquiries, and provide feedback that can assist students in various situations that occur during class and learning, thereby improving class satisfaction and achievement. should try to improve. In this paper, based on the teaching method, learning achievement, and teacher role satisfaction survey conducted in the liberal arts programming course of K University, we study the influence of the teacher's role on the quality improvement of the class. Examine the relationship with satisfaction.

In this study, we analyze the phenomena of professional development under the four categories: motivation toward entering college of education, pedagogical content knowledge, study of subject matter and future vision. We conducted a survey method for almost 60 computer education majors at S university ranging from freshman up to junior levels and interviewed 5 selected participants. According to SPSS analysis, there was no significant level difference in any category while male students responded more positively than female students in all the categories. To explore the survey results deeply, we selected 3 students from sophomore and junior levels and 2 extra senior students to conduct interviews. The interpretation of the data indicated how their academic problems revealed due to heavy curricular loads seeking second major and difficulties of pursuing pedagogical contents knowledge.

Social study for province textbook is very difficulty for experience and learning in classroom because the contents of social study for province text book is consist of contents about very far away places. And there are less contents than normal subject. Especially, children need experiences and enough contents for learning in social study for province textbook. The purpose of this paper are as follows: 1) design and implementation of PVR contents 2) applying 4th grade social study for province textbook 3) inspecting for satisfaction degree and result of students about the efficiency of PVR contents.

Normally, people think the results of engineering design project can be seen and be touched, however, it's not easy to develop such design subjects at IT related program. This matter turns into an initiative of Seoul Accord corresponding to the Washington Accord. In this paper, an engineering design project is developed from the lecture course that can hardly develop a touchable project due to the lack of expanse or the own characteristics of the course in the IT related program that follows the Washington Accord. An open-ended design project with the pre-defined design components and realistic constraints is developed for the Computer Network Design course. Each team consisted of 2 or 3 students performs the project for more than 5 weeks utilizing a software simulator, the Packet Tracer. In order to analyze the effectiveness, we have used various evaluation tools such as final presentation, peer evaluation, survey results, and mid/final exams. We concluded that the hard and soft skills of students have been improved considerably through the project.

In this study, I investigated cases of operating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) sustainable design courses based on interdisciplinary education for diverse design major students in the fashion design department. Through literature review, we examined the necessity of this course operation and analyzed the course through class design, execution, and operational results. Sustainable design courses were organized for 2nd to 4th-year students, promoting integrated learning for fashion design and various design majors to enhance interdisciplinary skills based on the in-depth study of SDGs issues. The educational content in the classes focused on the sustainable development goals achieved through upcycling design of waste PET bottle fibers developed by local industries, aiming to pursue sustainable values of designers through problem discovery and resolution. Students developed various upcycled products, evaluated metrics, and assessed satisfaction levels. Through this process, students gained an understanding of the practical value of SDGs, recognized the importance of sustainable development through design approaches for solving local issues, and acknowledged the significance of interdisciplinary education with various design majors.

In diverse professional fields including information and communication field, there is huge gap between required practical ability in industrial and that of graduated students actually learn in university. In this paper, we propose collaborative project curriculum applied to project-based learning in order to train affordable specialists who have a systematic problem-solving ability in industrial site. Applying this curriculum to The Cultural Technology Education Center of Jeju National University, we confirm that our curriculum improves ability of students to perform team project systematically such as skills in paper writing, presentation speech, problem solving, and collaborative work. Students are also reported high satisfaction about the proposed curriculum. Therefore, we expect that our curriculum will successfully be applied to other fields.

The purpose of this study is to introduce the math-clinic programs which offer to engineering students and to compare the subject satisfaction between participants and non-participants. Five math-clinic programs are operated and 1397 students took part in this study. As a result, the Likert-type scales of satisfaction with three programs; the exercise problems solving class, the tutoring program and the achievement tests, were 4.07, 4.05 and 3.95, respectively(5-point Likert-type scale). And we found that the participants expressed higher subject satisfactions than nonparticipations did.

지구과학 분야에서 가장 어렵게 느껴지는 내용인 천문분야는 다른 과학 분야와 달리 탐구 대상이 천체들이 먼거리에 있고, 쉽게 관측하기 어려우며, 실험실에서 동일실험과 반복 실험이 불가능하여, 추상적이고 직접 관측하기 어려운 개념에 관한 연구들이 많다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 레이저 커팅기를 사용해 지구과학교과 중 별자리를 구성하는 별들의 상대적 거리를 수학적으로 계산하는 과정과 고등학교 물리교과 중 LED 광원의 원리를 알고 LED 모듈을 제작하여 최종적으로 아름답고 과학적으로 가치가 있는 입체 별자리 교구를 제작하는 형태의 STEAM 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 시범학교 적용을 하였다. 이에 지능정보화 사회에 발맞춰 천문학 지식을 창의 교육의 형태로 교육하는 새로운 교육법을 실현한 연구결과들을 발표하고자 한다. 또한 개발한 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 STEAM 관련 태도 검사와 논리적 사고력 검사 및 만족도 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 개발된 프로그램이 STEAM 태도 검사와 논리적 사고력에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 천문수업에 대한 학생들의 인식은 긍정적이었다. 따라서 후속 연구에서는 다양한 학년 및 위계에 맞는 프로그램의 개발과 다양한 지역 등의 현장 적용을 통한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

Human anatomy courses are one of the most fundamental subjects taught to students in any health-related science field. To improve the quality and to enlarge the scope of human anatomy courses, 130 students (Biomedical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy) were given a questionnaire survey. The students were asked question regarding their anatomy course and cadaver dissection class. Specific questions regarding knowledge acquisition before and after the course was queried, in addition to their views on the necessity of cadaver dissection. The survey results indicated that students of all three departments were satisfied with the anatomy course, with no statistical difference in the students' sex or department affiliation. Although there was no difference between the three majors with respect to understanding the course materials, Biomedical Laboratory Science students showed higher satisfaction in this course (p<0.05). Most students, regardless of sex and high school education, stated that cadaver dissection is an important part of the anatomy course. In conclusion, anatomy courses should implement cadaver dissection and actual practice rather than textbook-related studies alone.

The present study is a convergence study aimed at investigating the effects of the blended learning method on self-directed learning and learning satisfaction of nursing students. A nonequivalent control group was designed to conduct a pre-post test for this study. The participants were assigned to the experimental(n=70) or control group(n=68). Data was analyzed using ${\chi}^2$-test, independent t-tset, and ANCOVA. The results of this study showed that self-directed learning(F=4.122, p=.044), learning satisfaction (F=4.714, p=.032) were significantly higher in the experimental group with blended learning applied than in the control group that received lecture courses for the subject adult health nursing. In other words, this study found that the blended learning method, which was designed to enable students to learn given tasks on their own outside teaching-centered lectures, can enhance the learning ability of nursing students. The results of this study indicate the need to conduct repeated studies regarding blended learning in various subjects and to develop content considering self-directed learning and learning satisfaction of learners.
