A Study on the Course Development for Librarians' Continuing Education to Build up Multicultural Competencies in Library Services (사서 대상 도서관 다문화서비스 교육과정의 교과목에 관한 연구)

  • The research aims to develop the courses for librarians' continuing education to build up multicultural competencies in library services. In order to achieve the purpose, the study designed the research processes as followings: first, multicultural environment analyses with various materials such as statistics or national reports; second, librarians' and multicultural users' needs analyses of multicultural library services and library works; third, job competency analyses through reviewing related laws, rules, guidelines for library multicultural services, etc. On the basis of the results from the three-step analysis phases, the study deducted the candidate courses for librarians' multicultural education. After testing validity of the candidate courses by expert panels on library multicultural services, the research suggested the final 16 courses and follow-up research projects for designing and implementing the suggested courses in real class fields.

Analysis of Inquiry Tendency in the 'Information Equipment' Sections of Informatics Textbooks from a Perspective of Modern Curriculum (현대 교육과정의 관점에서 본 '정보'교과서 '정보기기' 영역의 탐구적 경향 분석)

  • All the informatics textbooks of the fifth, sixth, seventh and revised curriculums have dealt with the structure and operation of information equipment. But there haven't been any discussions at all on the educational nature of this section involving the selection of what and how to teach. The purpose of this study was to examine 'the structure and operation of information equipment' sections of informatics textbooks from a perspective of modern curriculum to see whether there was any inquiry tendency in the textbooks. As a result of analyzing four textbooks, only one textbook turned out to be inquisitive. The findings of the study suggest that the importance of textbook content and the perspective of learning activities should be taken seriously when textbooks are produced, and the fact that in today's age marked by a global tend of fusion, informatics is one of the fundamental subjects to encourage students to examine themselves instead of just sticking to rote learning should be taken into consideration as well.

  • Recently, developments of engineering technology are too fast change to educate the students in the college of engineering. The lag between the innovation of the technology and the education of the college of engineering becomes larger and larger. In this situation, the appropriate education update system is needed to change the curricula for the updated engineering education. In this paper, the job analysis method which is used in the technical service area is transformed to design the curriculum of the general higher education area. The job analysis method which is used in the technical service area derives the competence too detail and complex to used in the higher education area. for the higher education area, the social activity analysis of the alumni is needed to extract the representative jobs of the area. Also using this representative jobs, the job analysis and competence derivation is conducted. If needed, the regular expert meeting is held to converge the job-site opinions of the graduate and industry people. This curriculum changing process is provided as a part of the circular self-improve education system of the Electrical Engineering of the MyongJi University.

  • This study is an analytical study on textbooks of , which was first presented in the 2015 revised high school mathematics curriculum. The textbook has a very high educational significance in that it is the first textbook developed for students majoring in economics. Analyzing whether these textbooks faithfully follow the spirit of the curriculum is an essential study for nurturing creative and convergent human beings and for personal self-realization. Therefore, in this study, a consistency analysis was conducted to determine whether the textbook fits the textbook development direction suggested by the curriculum developer and is appropriate for the state-approved mathematics curriculum. As a result of analysis, the contents of the textbook did not partially meet these criteria and lacked consistency. In conclusion, it is necessary to prepare more thorough standards for the examination and recognition of high school elective courses in the future.

Analysis of the Effectiveness of the University Convergence Curriculum using the CIPP model (CIPP 모형을 활용한 대학 융복합 교육과정의 효과성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of university convergence curriculum using CIPP model. With 758 data surveys of professors and students participating in K University's convergence education, the analysis of differences according to group characteristics and the factors affecting performance recognition and course satisfaction were analyzed. As a result of analysis, first, class activity(CA) was the highest (M=3.85), and coursework design(CD) was the lowest (M=3.35), and there were significant differences in the course objectives, course content, and class activities according to the characteristics of the group. Second, the factors affecting the performance recognition and course satisfaction of the convergence curriculum were needs analysis, coursework design, learner activity, performance recognition, and course satisfaction. In conclusion, it suggests that from the planning stage, it should be designed to reflect the needs of professors and students, and to improve satisfaction and performance recognition with novel contents and active teaching and learning activities. This study can be used as basic data for improving the quality of the convergence curriculum.

  • According to development of electronic commerce, the university's curriculums related electronic commerce should be renewed and added some chapters. I researched on university curriculums of electronic commerce, which has required by enterprise. In particular, the electronic commerce consist of two parts; IT technology and business management. Therefore it is regarded as a convergence subject. I did a correlation analysis between management's performance of enterprise and importance of university curriculum on electronic commerce. The questionnaire includes demands of enterprise and e-business model on electronic commerce. The result of this research indicates a necessary of changing by correlation ratio. Based on this research result, I suggest extended curriculums for electronic commerce.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how congruently the learning objectives of Earth Science I textbooks match the 2009 revised Earth Science curriculum. For this purpose, we classified the learning objectives of curriculum and textbooks were into three factors including ability, cross-cutting concepts, and behavioral verbs. The text data were analyzed using the semantic network analysis method. The results are as follows. The learning objectives of textbooks with regard to ability factors mainly emphasized the cognitive and affective domain. In addition, the ability of inquiry performance was emphasized in the learning objective of the curriculum. The textbooks used various sub-frame of cross-cutting concepts in comparison with the curriculum. Both textbooks and curriculum used the term 'comprehension' the most as behavioral verbs. However, most behavioral verbs just remained at the level of cognitive system.

  • This paper analyzed the changes in the curriculum of computer and software-related majors that educate the core ICT technologies needed for the 4th Industrial Revolution, before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the standard classification of university education units, 172 majors classified into Applied Software Engineering, Computer Science·Computer Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence Engineering were targeted, and the curricula of 2023 and 2019 were compared and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the introduction of the related curriculum for each curriculum group increased by about 2.6%p before and after the COVID-19 pandemic (2023 84.2%, 2019 81.6%). and the 4th Industrial Revolution response index increased by 9.5 points (37.0 in 2023, 27.5 in 2019)

  • The study of 2011 education course revision proposal suggests that middle school level function shall be taught with emphasis on its role as tool to understand the situations of actual world, and the concept shall be extended in high school into formularized setting that integrate various fields based on middle school function. In revising education course, the circumstances of other countries are desired to be considered to keep abreast of international standard education courses. In this study, the textbooks of Gesamtschule a general school a school type similar to the education system in Korea among various school forms of Germany were selected to look into the characteristics of function introduction and teaching & learning in Germany, and the textbooks were compared and analyzed with those of Korea. As a result of comparison and analysis on the system and contents with emphasis on function area, German textbooks differed from the 7th revised education course on the introduction of function concept, contents development method and method of instructing on graph etc. Such differences are anticipated to serve as data for reference in the development of revised education courses and textbooks in Korea.

The participant who is selected is the practical career person of 3 or more years that Works at the Seoul individual enterprise. The specialist verified continuously about research truth and ethical from collection of data and analytical process. The research method and analysis results are as follows : First, Martial art and sports relation subject is more protocol secretary and secretary subject. But emphasized an importance about protocol secretary and secretary subject. Second, The male emphasized that Specialist training and segmentation in major field of study. The woman emphasized that women's studies and protocol secretary, culture of high-level class. Third, They have emphasized difference about private security in professionalism of curriculum.
