  • This study aims to suggest the most stable color temperature that can relieve the anxiety of passengers in case of an elevator trapped accident. The experiment was conducted on 10 adult men in their 20s. The color temperature of the interior lighting of the elevator was adjusted to four stages (3,000 K; 6,000 K; 9,000 K; and 12,000 K). Electrocardiogram (ECG) was measured and analyzed to observe the reaction of the user's autonomic nervous system decline in 3,000 K; 6,000 K; 9,000 K compared with 12,000 K, where a statistically significant difference was recognized (p < 0.01). Among them, the activity of the sympathetic nervous system was the lowest under the condition of 3,000 K. Through this study, it was found that the color temperature of 3,000 K induced a sense of stability among passengers in the event of an elevator jam. If the results of this study are used, it seems that the stability of passengers will be secured in the event of an elevator jam.

  • Amiodarone is an iodinated benzofuran derivative that has been proved effective in the control of supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias refractory to other antiarrhythmic drugs. In patients treated with amiodarone, subsequent surgical intervention is a common clinical scenario, but unfortunately we do not have definite data about complications due to amiodarone after cardiac surgery. Some reports have shown that amiodarone treatment can be associated with a state of $\alpha$-adrenergic and $\beta$-adrenergic receptor blockade, which requires more pacing and epinephrine infusion for perioperative hemodynamic support. And some reports have also identified a severe form of ARDS in patients on amiodarone therapy which was associated with siginificant morbidity and mortality. We exprienced a patient who expired after mitral valve replacement due to amiodarone-induced ARDS; therefore, we report this case with a brief literature.

  • This study researches to prove the character of the bottom book of the 'Tripitaka Koreana'and its carved book. From the research, it is Proved that the First Tripitaka 51books and the new Tripitaka that is the second Tripitaka collected in the Holim museum are the overtum cared books or the contracted overtum cared books of 'Tripitaka keybo'. And finds out some outline on the bottom and compared book used when published the new Tripitaka by comparing it by Sugi Buddhist priest: he published the new book using the Songbon(宋本) at first as the bottom book and compared it with the Kookbon(國本) and Danbon(丹本) and contracted it based on them. This corrected Songbon was used once more as the bottom book of the new Tripitaka. And It is grasped that some Tripitaka containing some serious mistakes and missed in Songbon was corrected based on the Kookbon and Danbon and caved it or made a new carved book to insert or substitute it to the new Tripitaka. study researches So this study concludes that such differences showing in these two books are on the bases of the gaps in time and space between them.

  • In a normal state, sympathetic efferent activity does not elicit discharges of sensory neurons, whereas it becomes associated with and excites sensory neurons in a pathophysiological state such as injury to a peripheral nerve. Although this sympathetic-sensory interaction is reportedly adrenergic, involved subtypes of adrenoreceptors are not yet clearly revealed. The purpose of this study was to determine which adrenorceptor subtypes were involved in sympathetic-sensory interaction that was developed in rats with an experimental peripheral neuropathy. Using rats that received a tight ligation of one or two of L4-L6 spinal nerves 10~15 days previously, a recording was made from afferent fibers in microfilaments teased from the dorsal root that was in continuity with the ligated spinal nerve. Electrical stimulation of sympathetic preganglionic fibers in T13 or L1 ventral root (50 Hz, 2-5 mA. 0.5 ms pulse duration, 10 sec) was made to see if the activity of recorded afferents was modulated. About half of afferents showing spontaneous discharges responded to sympathetic stimulation, and had the conduction velocities in the A-fiber range. Most of the sympathetically induced afferent responses were excitation. This sympathetically induced excitation occurred in the dorsal root ganglion (DRG), and was blocked by yohimbine (${\alpha}_2$ blocker), neither by propranolol ($\beta$ blocker) not by prazosine (${\alpha}_1$ blocker). The results suggest that after spinal nerve ligation, sympathetic efferents interact with sensory neurons having A-fiber axons in DRG where adrenaline released from sympathetic nerve endings excites the activity of sensory neurons by acting on 2-adrenoreceptors. This 2-adrenoreceptor mediated excitation of sensory neurons may account for sympathetic involvement in neuropathic pain.

  • Effects from many different approaches have been made to cure Raynaud's phenomenon, such as a dorsal sympathectomy, topical injection of nitroglycerin, phentolamin and procaine, and oral or parentral administration of various drugs. However, there has been no successful management proven yet. In recent years, it was reported that intra-arterial administration ill normal subjects as well as patients with Raynaud's syndrome has demonstrated a significant rise in blood flow to the lands. We used intermittent stellate ganglion blocks in conjunction with intra-arterial injections of reserpine and procaine in 10 patients suffering from finder necrosis. The stellate ganglion block was performed in a paratracheal approach by injection of 1% lidocaine purposely mixed with adrenaline followed by the administration of reserpine 1 mg and procaine 50 mg through a butterfly needle inserted in the radial or brachial artery. The administration of reserpine and procaine was done only twice at intervals of 1 week because of the development of suspected arteriosclerosis. The stellate ganglion block was carried out once a week for about 3 months, then once a month as needed for 6 to 12 months. As the procedure was carried out and the necrotic tissue sloughed off, oozing appeared and new granulation tissue was observed. 5 out of 10 patients were healed completely and the rest improved considerably but were not followed to the end. We concluded that the intra-arterial administration of reserpine and procaine helped initiate and accelerate increasing blood flow to the hand and the stellate ganglion block continued to help revascularization by dilating the peripheral beds.

  • More than 80% of cancer-related pain is pharmacologically controllable, whereas $10{\sim}20%$ of patients require interventional treatments. Neurolytic nerve block can play a major role in cancer pain treatment, and it has been proposed to prevent the development of pain and improve the quality of life of patients with cancer. If the pain is well localized and restricted to certain peripheral parts of the body, spinal peripheral or sympathetic nerve blocks may result in excellent therapeutic effects. Neurolytic sympathetic block, especially Celiac plexsus block (CPB) performed in earlier stages, is effective with successful long term results. However, selection of patients is critical for succeful outcomes. Neurolytic plexus block significantly improves the quality of life of patients and reduces abdominal and pelvic cancer pain, analgesic consumption and adverse opioids-related side effects. Interventional pain management should be considered at earlier stages to provide patients with the best quality of life possible.

  • The study is to drive right users' attitude of internet and smart phones by providing the rewards. It consisted of 4 different types of no compensation, praise card, achievement sticker and cash and its effect on user's behavior was statistically tested. 24 children in grades four through six participated in the study. The task in this study was game of mathematical calculation. The subjective satisfaction about the reward and heart response during the game task were measured. As the results, inactivation of sympathetic and parasympathetic was observed in the case of no compensation while activation in the case of praise card. Therefore, the praise card was observed in greater commitment and satisfaction than the other rewards. The difference between non-compensation and compensation was significant in the subjective satisfaction, but not difference between compensations.

  • This thesis is a study about how leadership communicates and interacts with the public and affects structure of emotions. Leadership has been paid attention by various strata, and interest about leader is gradually getting higher throughout overall society. In this situation, drama that is a medium that approaches to the general public friendly and easily and affects emotionally the public suggests problems about overall contemporary society and culture and plays a role to solve the desire. Therefore, if we analyze leadership that appears on drama, we may grasp directional nature and meaning aboutwhich figure of the leader it shows. As a research method, we use Spear's servant leadership factors, who categorized factors necessary for leaders. A soap opera named Ukssinamjeonggi that pursues a common goal to solve affairs and problems in relationships among members in an organization is selected as the analytic subject. As a result of the analysis, listening, empathy, healing, awareness, and conceptualization which are factors of servant leadership turn out to be the factors that help subordinates demonstrate their potentials; conceptualization, persuasion, awareness, and foresight are usually shown by supervisors. Servant leadership was the most effective when a leader communicates with members through middle managers to grow the community.

  • This study was performed to investigate main psychological phenomena and healing process through qualitative analysis on the 115 handwriting healing experience in the forest. Main psychological phenomena experienced in the forest were important in order happiness, comfort, and understanding. The process of healing in the forest was first characterized by emotional changes, and was led to cognitive changes and behavioral changes. Healing stage of the forest has followed with six steps of stimulus, accommodating, purification, insight, filling, and change. This process was associated with nature sympathetic, rapport with oneself, and with the world. Previous studies, which were focused on the measurement of transient state after the comparative study between control and experimental groups, could not verify the continuity and process of psychological healing. this study suggests a new approach to understand the subjective psychological phenomena and healing processes in the forest, and will be a basis for developing and performing of forest healing program.
