Wideband Microstrip Antenna with the Double U-slots (이중 U-슬롯을 이용한 광대역 마이크로스트립 안테나)

  • In this paper, the broadband microstrip antenna with small size, thin-profile, conformability and ease of manufacture is proposed for providing PCS(down link: 1.75GHz∼1.78GHz, up link: 1.84GHz∼1.87GHz) '||'&'||' IMT-2000(down link: 1.92GHz∼1.98GHz, up link: 2.11GHz∼2.17GHz) services simultaneously. By using double U-slots and matching stub, the bandwidth and operating performance of printed antenna was significantly improved, with need for a complex fabrication procedure. We have also studied the various parameters of the U-slot$_2$for the performances of the antenna. Impedance bandwidth of the wideband microstrip antenna with the double U-slots is about 30.45% (VSWR<2)

Wideband Stacked Microstrip Antenna with Parasitic Patches for 800MHz Band (기생패치를 이용한 800MHz 대역 광대역 적층 마이크로스트립 안테나)

  • A wideband stacked patch antenna with parasitic elements, rectangular and triangle shaped patches, is proposed. Two different shaped parasitic elements are placed in the above of main rectangular microstrip patch antenna in order to achieve wide bandwidth for 860 MHz band. Coupling between the main patch and parasitic patches is realized by thick air gap. The gap and locations of parasitic patches are found to be the main factor of the wideband impedance matching. The proposed antenna is designed on a ground plane with small size of $119mm{\times}109mm$ for application of compact transceivers. And the impedance bandwidth of the antenna should satisfied CDMA band to the 780MHz~890MHz.

  • This paper presents a new current transient test technique for wideband CMOS Op Amps. This technique monitors the transient power supply current and output responses of the CMOS Op Amp to automatically differentiate faulty and fault-free op amps. The wideband op amp is designed using 0.25${\mu}$m CMOS technology. We present detailed simulation results for a wideband op amp. We show that catastrophic faults in op amps can be detected and analyzed by monitoring power supply currents and output responses. This technique is inexpensive and simple.

  • In this paper, a broadband microstrip antenna for PCS and IMT-2000 service is designed. To obtain the broadband characteristics of an antenna, we utilized the multi-layered structure composed of two foam material layers, parasitic element and aperture coupled feeding network. The broadband characteristic is obtained by changing the size of parasitic element and the height of foam materials. In addition to that, the usage of metal layer at the distance of λ/4 from feed-line, back radiation is reduced. The bandwidth of a single element for VSWR less than 1.3 is about 550MHz. The bandwidth of a designed 1$\times$4 array antenna for VSWR less than 1.3 is about 460MHz. The gain of a designed array antenna is about 11.15∼12.15dBi and the front-to-back ratio is about 30dB.

  • In this paper, a wideband loop antenna for UWB applications is studied. The proposed wideband loop antenna consists of a circular loop and circular sectors. Circular sectors with a ultra-wideband characteristic are used to connect the circular loop and the center feed points. Optimal design parameters are obtained by analyzing the effects of the gap between the circular sectors and the radius of the circular loop on the input reflection coefficient and gain characteristics. The optimized wideband loop antenna is fabricated on an FR4 substrate with a dimension of $41mm{\times}41mm$. Experimental results show that the antenna has a desired UWB characteristic with a frequency band of 3.1-11.0 GHz for a VSWR < 2.25.

  • 광대역 통신망에서 OAM의 기본 원칙은 망요소의 각 인터페이스에 따라 관리엔터티(ME)를 정의하고 ME 단위로 장애개념을 적용하여 이상, 결함, 장애, 고장의 발견 및 복구, 격리 등의 유지보수 엔터티 관리과정을 통하여 관리하므로 망의 전반적인 차원의 서비스 제공에 최소의 영향을 미치게 한다. 광대역 망에서의 OAM 기능은 3개의 계층으로 계층화하므로 망의 진화나 새로운 서비스에 융통성 있는 구조를 제공하는데, 망 OAM 계층은 망 전체의 사용 효율을 극대화하는 데 초점을 맞추고 이에 따라 각 노드들을 통제하며, 노드 OAM 계층은 망 OAM 기능에 의한 통제를 수용하여 처리하며 노드 자체의 관리 기능과 운용보전 기능을 포함하며, 모듈 OAM 계층은 하나의 구현 모듈에 내장된 OAM 기능으로서 경보감시, 시험 및 진단, 관측, 제어, 데이터 관리 등 구체적으로 실현되는 기능을 말한다.

  • 광대역 마이크로파 신호의 광전송시 변조과정에서 발생되는 상호잡음 성분의 억제를 위한 다단 직렬구조의 전계흡수 광변조기를 이용한 선형화 방법을 제안하였고 이론적으로 고찰하였다. 바이어스 전압에 따른 신호의 위상 반전이 발생되는 것을 이용하여 두 개의 서로 다른 바이어스 전압과 입력 마이크로파 신호의 전력 차를 이용하여 광대역 시스템의 성능을 좌우하는 IMD2와 IMD3를 동시에 억압시킬 수 있었다. 모의실험을 통하여 최적의 동작조건을 찾은 결과 35dB의 IMD2 억제와 50dB의 IMD3를 동시에 억압시킬 수 있었으며 이에 따라서 약 15dB의 동작영역의 증가를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, we considered the received signal of the wideband CDMA systems using turbo code in the multipath channel environments, and analyze the performance of the system. This study is to analyze the performance for the variable system bandwidth according to the number of branches of rake receiver by passing the received signal through a rake receiver with a turbo code in Rayleigh fading channel environments. For the design of receiver in wideband CDMA systems, we presented the efficient parameters for the number of iterative decoding and the number of branches of rake receiver.

  • The technology of Broadband LAN is required to unify, control and manage various infromation devices by sharing resources. This technology is applied for tele-conferencing, tele-control, tele-metering and 2-way CATV etc. besides Computer network by using multiple channels. This paper introduces the technology and cases of Broadband LAN which is the subnet of ISDN and the basis of FA and OA as the key-technology of MAN(Metropolitan Area Network) and WAN(Wide Area Network).

  • 광대역 무선 가입자망(무선 CATV)은 유선에 비하석 상대적으로 저렴한 시설 비용, 유지보수의 용이성, 서비스의 신속한 제공 및 빠른 시설 투자 회수 둥의 장점을 갖고 있다. 현재는 보급 초기 단계로, 70 개국에서 500만 이상의 가입자를 보유하고 있으며 빠른 성장률을 보이고 있다. 향후 양방향 디지털 시스템으로 발전, 멀티미디어 서비스로 발전할 가능성을 지니고 있는 새로운 전송미디어이다. 본 논문에서는 광대역 무선 가입자망의 핵심 기술을 살펴보고, 국제 (지역) 표준화 활동으로 미국과 캐나다 표준(안)을 기본으로 작성중인 DAVIC의 활동, 그리고 국내외 서비스 및 시스템 개발 현황과 전망 등을 살펴보겠다.
