The main memory DBMS(MMDBMS) efficiently supports various database applications that require high performance since it employs main memory rather than disk as a primary storage. In this paper, we discuss theexperiences obtained in developing the index manager of the Tachyon, a next-generation MMDBMS. The indexmanager is an essential sub-component of the DBMS used to speed up the retrieval of objects from a largevolume of a database in response to a certain search condition. Previous research efforts on indexing proposed various index structures. However, they hardly dealt with the practical issues occured in implementating an index manager on a target DBMS. In this paper, we touch these issues and present our experiences in developing the index manager on the Tachyon as solutions. The main issues touched are (1) compact representation of an indexentry, (2) support of variable-length keys, (3) support of multiple-attribute keys, (4) support of duplicated keys,(5) definition of external APls, (6) concurrency control, and (7) backup and recovery. We believe that ourcontribution would help MMDBMS developers highly reduce their trial-and-errors.

본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 스트리밍 프레임워크에서 미디어 관리자의 설계와 구현을 기술한다. 미디어 관리자는 스트리밍 프레임워크 내에서 미디어 스트림이 어떠한 타입의 소스로부터 얻어지며, 어떠한 종류의 스트림인가를 판별하고, 그 미디어를 가장 적절하게 처리할 수 있는 코덱을 선택한 후, 어떠한 미디어 디바이스를 통해 재생되어야 효과적인지를 식별하고 관리하기 위해서 필요하다. 제안된 미디어 관리자는 미디어 소스와 싱크 모듈로 구성되어 있는데, 이는 멀티미디어 데이터베이스와 연동기능을 지원함으로써 높은 부가가치 서비스 제공을 가능케 하였고, RTP/RTSP 소스필터나 WinAmp 게이트웨이 기능도 지원함으로써 융통성을 제공한다. 더욱이, 향후 새로운 형태의 미디어 소스가 출현하더라도 이를 용이하게 스트리밍 프레임워크에 추가시켜 서비스할 수 있는 유연성과 확장성을 지원한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of family-friendly policies on married female managers' desire for an additional child and the mediating effects of family-friendly supervisor support and work-family conflict. The analysis included 480 married female managers from the 7th survey of the 2018 Korean Women Manager Panel. Family-friendly policies were found to have an indirect effect on the desire for an additional child via family-friendly supervisor support and work-family conflict. These findings emphasize the importance of not only implementing family-friendly policies, but also creating a culture that supports them. Based on the results, approaches to interventions in the workplace to reverse the current trend of low fertility are discussed.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the influence of perceived learning value on employees' learning outcomes and to explore the mediating roles of work-family enrichment(WFE) and supervisor support in the relationship between perceived learning value and learning outcomes. The data was collected with employees who currently enrolled in any educational programs. The total data set was 309. The results showed that there was a positive and statistically significant relationship between perceived learning value and learning outcomes, and supervisor support, WFE and FWE played as moderators in the relationship between perceived learning value and learning outcomes.

WebDAV is a protocol to support collaboration among the workers in geographically distant locations through the Internet. WebDAV extends the web communication protocol HTTP/1.1 to provide a standard infrastructure for supporting asynchronous collaboration for various contents across the Internet. To provide the WebDAV functionality in legacy applications such as web-based collaborative systems or document management systems, those systems need to be implemented additionally to handle the WebDAV methods and headers information. In this paper, we developed an Apache-based WebDAV server, named DAVinci(WebDAV Is New Collaborative web-authoring Innovation)which supports the WebDAV specification. DAVinci was implemented as a form of service provider on a mod_dav Apache module. Mod_day, which is an Apache module, is an open source module to provide WebDAV capabilities in an Apache web server. We used a file system for storing resources and the PostgreSQL database for their properties. In addition, the system provides a consistency manager to guarantee that both resources and properties are maintained without inconsistency between resources and their properties.

Purpose : This study aims to suggest social support composed of organizational support and managerial support would be systematically managed to enhance Disaster Operations Management at Seoul Emergency Operations Center. Method : Emotional labor was used as an independent variable, and organizational commitment was used as a dependent variable to analyze the mediating effects of social support. Results : First, in the aspect of organizational support, the objective evaluation of disaster situation management, disaster situation management emotional labor reduction education and training program development, monitoring of disaster situation management, quality improvement and work imbalance mitigation of firefighters, and emergency coordination managers are needed for systematic work management for emotional labor settlement. Secondly, it is necessary to select competent firefighters in the level of managerial support, to prepare healing measures for structured phased emotional labor for firefighters, and to have counseling competency for managers for emotional labor firefighting officers. Conclusion : In order to improve disaster management ability, education and training programs should be developed to improve organizational commitment based on social support.

the multicast services with multiple senders is interested according to the internet services such as multiple audio/video conference services. With the N-plex multicast protocols, multicast session manager is also needed for membership control and session control. RMCP-3 is designed for N:N group communications which is standardizing in ITU-T and supports multiple senders who join sessions. In this paper, we consider requirements of multicast manager for multiplex multicast communication protocol which many a joiner has a role in sender such conference application.

In this paper, we design an intelligent loaming management logics which provide personalized teaming considering adaptive learning content dement and content sequencing. We enhance the existing functional model including adaptive learning management functions. Also, we present a system architecture to implement the adaptive learning management system. We realize the adaptive teaming management system based on the SCORM run-time engine.

According to the participants, the current K-MOOC (Korean Massive Open Online Course) has a few problems, such as too few courses, low content quality, and useless learner management system compared to MOOCs abroad. These problems caused diminished learner motivation. Consequently, the K-MOOC service has recorded a low course completion rate despite high expenses spent to develop the contents and thus requires remedies to fix the issues. This study drew research subjects from a pool of college and graduate students representing the primary users of the K-MOOC. This study limited the research scope to the four categories: motivation, learning experience, recognition, and performance of the Biggs' 3P Learning System Model. Based on the literature review, ten variables were selected and explored how the subjects perceived four categories using the survey questionnaire. This study also examined the relationship between ten variables and generated suggestions for the instructors, course managers, and platform developers to make the K-MOOC better.

본 연구는 컴퓨터시스템을 이용한 맞춤형 정음기반 한국어 학습 지원시스템의 효율적인 모델에 관한 연구 논문으로서, IMS/AICC 국제규격을 준수하는 LCMS와 SCORM 기반의 정음 정보처리로 한국어 교육이 가능한 학습지원시스템에 구축 시스템의 세부 모음들을 정의하였다. 주 내용은 학습자의 학습결과와 학습 습관을 분석 평가하여 자가 주도 식으로 학습할 수 있는 기능을 제공한 것이다. 본 연구는 효율적인 PMS 세부모듈 시스템은 물론, 표준 역량모델관리시스템, 학습자 개별 역량 관리시스템, 역량저장 및 저장소, 커뮤니티를 활용한 역량 모델기반의 지식관리시스템, 교육 수요분석용 e-Survey시스템, 모바일 학습지원서비스 시스템 등이다. 앞으로 클라우드컴퓨팅 기술을 적용한 외국인을 위한 정음기반 한국어 학습지원시스템 구축 표준 모델을 제시하였다.
