Throughout the agraian society, industrial society, information society, and the knowledge-based society, the word father has become the representation of the law, oder, control, protection, and discipline. This study, with traditional fairy tale "Le petit chaperon rouge", aim to analyze the child readers a notion familly around 'me' and conceiving the father as the unit of the institution; also, in the Korean film , cinema audiences feeling keenly the necessity of the conventional family values and looking for the poster of principal agent of law and order. Generally the father is protector of 'me' and simutaneously, is incorporal being; even if he is inessential, he has, only by the name, great influence with people(law, order, control, discipline, are operating only with the name as the father God does). Our study will show how the signifier father operates and what similarity is between the film and the traditional fairy tale. A father is recognized as a tyrant or criminal, but a man is always realized to undertake a duty of resisting unjust powers and protecting nonperson. Those opposing structures was well represented in epic works such as"Le petit chaperon rouge" and . The father described in children's tale appeared as a symbol of desire and oppression, therefore youngster readers realized around 'Me' the concept of family through the absence of a father and received the father as a unit in the system. A father in a film has been described as a protector of nonperson, and a main part in the institution and order of traditional family. In both genre, the psychological signifiant of father still has been shown based on the symbol of father as a social institution.
The purpose of this study is verifying whether convergence does its role as a transfer medium in dance expression or not, finding the effect of convergence characteristics and confirming whether it would bring change and new creation in performance art or not. This study suggests that studies on convergence in dance are required in accordance with the trend of time. This study believes that convergence is a modern art expression method, which can maximize the artistic expression in dance work and it will play an important role in the advance of dance works. There are ongoing studies on convergence art genre by many creators; however, still academic study this matter is not sufficient. Therefore, it is believed that more studies on convergence genre from the viewpoint of human studies are required. Accordingly, this study took Blush, the dance art works of Wim Vandekeybus, as the subject of study because convergence is clearly visible in these works. It is possible to draw convergence from these works because the works attempt new creation and utilize image by accommodating other genre art in dance art. The convergence in these works maximizes the originality of choreography and expands the time and space of stage through various effects. In other words, it is possible to see that Wim Vandekeybus is doing new attempts in his dance works by experimental elements, which escaped from simple movement, and convergence appears in the works.
In this essay, Japanese animator Kihachiro Kawamoto's works will be analyzed. Kawamoto made Breaking of Branches is Forbidden in 1968 and was famous for puppet animation as The Demon(1972), Dojoji Temple(1976) and House of Flame(1979) used Japanese traditional elements in his works. The themes are the agony and despair of a human being, and the narrative is developed dramatically. This is possible through a variety of techniques in animation expression. For example of this are the movement of the puppets and the lighting. In the case of Kawamoto's works, above all, it can be said that the dramatic development depends on editing - the relation of each shot to the next shot. Therefore, this analysis will focus especially on the editing of The Demon, Dojoji Temple and House of Flame. Kawamoto's method of editing will be examed and the analysis will confirm that classical continuity edting by controling space and time has been used. Namely that the effect of editing enhances dramatic development of the narrative on Kawamoto's works. This study will also discuss the benefit of using cinematic methods of in animation. Eventhough it is not essential, Kawamoto chooses cinematic method editing. Through their use, he is able to absorb the audience in the traditional Japanese world which ordinarily could be too difficult to understand through puppet animation.
In the early 20th century, Japan built theaters to take possession of colonial culture while establishing the Imperial University, libraries, and museums to accumulate and spread the knowledge of "imperial" Japan. Many different genres made a hit in theaters including theatrical troupes, theatrical companies, and motion pictures. One of the various features of expositions was "spectacles" or unusual events. They were integrated with a national festival in celebration of "5th anniversary of political commencement." In 1915, the longest hit series in Keijo (Seoul) was the dance performance by professional Japanese beauties and entertainers, whose songs delivered the legitimacy of governance. This study focused on the performance in the space of "cultural" spread called theaters, thus examining the "imperial" cultural waves they were in charge of. The study also focused on the tensional relations of Hierarchie along those cultural borders. The performance at the theater Engeikan(演芸館) in 1915 was especially an epoch-making event in the Japanese theatrical community of Keijo (Seoul): first, it marked the emergence of large-scale performance hall called Engeikan(演芸館); secondly, the performance kept its ongoing, stable streak for about 50 days; and it led to the appearance of leading troupes including Geijutuza(芸術座), which put on a show in Keijo (Seoul) in November, 1915. The study examined the issues of theater Engeikan(演芸館) performance in 1915 involving the art company, performance genre, and audience composition, showed that there was the coexistence of entertainment and governance through cultural ruling while securing amusement and entertainment, and found it was accompanied by the organized operation of "Keijo Sponsorship Council(京城協贊會)" which brought together the cultural capabilities of Japanese people living in Joseon. The performance at theater Engeikan(演芸館) in Keijo (Seoul) in 1915 fully reflected the issues involving the tensional relations between different artistic genres, the competing relations between the subjects of performance, and the cultural power.
The characteristics of performing arts differ from those of utilitarian goods in terms of economics. Factors other than price need to be considered to understand the demand for performing arts. Audience surveys as well as econometric demand studies have confirmed that socio-economic factors such as age, income, employment, and education are major determinants of the demand for performing arts. This study focused on the attributes of concerts rather than consumer characteristics to determine the concerts audiences select in terms of transaction cost. Genre, price, internet search trends, and the purpose of performance as well as price are tested as determinants of demand by using the data set for a major concert hall in Seoul. Genre and the specific purpose of concerts influence the demand for concerts. Internet search trends of the performer are used as indicators of popularity and information exposure, which are positively correlated with demand. This result supports the hypothesis that larger audiences would attend concerts that require lower information search costs. To note, price has a positive effect on demand in the higher price range, which means that concerts at higher prices attract larger audiences, whereas normal goods have a negative slope in the demand curve. This result can be explained by the hypothesis that consumers use price as an indicator of the quality expected of a concert. Transaction cost for selecting classical concerts thus forms an inverse-U shape curve against ticket price. These results provide some explanation of why audiences of classical music choose to attend concerts at high ticket prices while offering evidence in favor of the hypothesis that performing arts are selected in a social context.
While myriads of small and large festivals are being organized in many regions across the country after the successful establishment of local governments around 2000, the undeniable fact is that the identity and purpose of such events are not properly reflected in their programs. This paper carefully examines the 2017 Jeonju International Sori Festival as an exemplary case of a local performing art festival to contribute to the improvement of performing art festivals in the future. In particular, it focuses on a musical program with respect to the composition, content, meaning, and direction that can effectively reveal the identity and intention of a festival. The most significant accomplishment of the 2017 Jeonju International Sori Festival is that it presented a local cultural resource, Pansori, in various ways not only to manifest its identity but also to satisfy both the enthusiasts of such musical genre and the general audience. The achievements of the 2017 Jeonju International Sori Festival through the performing art program can be summarized as follows: first, it created a new image of traditional music; second, it realized the desire to rise above regional and generational demarcations through cultural communication; third, it provided a stage for budding and local artists; fourth, it served as a vehicle for summoning the public; and last, it was conducive to expanding the spectrum of potential audience. This paper has limitation in covering the subject of the improvement of performing art festivals because it analyzed only one event. In follow-up studies, a more objective discussion should be performed by further analyzing the 2017 Jeonju International Sori Festival in comparison with various other performing art festivals.
The present study analyzed movie consumption behavior from the perspective of transaction cost, taking into account the possible incurrence of additional costs in the process of consumers obtaining movie information to choose movies. Regression and multinomial logistic regression analyses were performed in the analysis by taking movie information and the individuals' social demographic characteristics as independent variables and the number and frequency of movies watched as dependent variables, using information from the "2015 movie consumer survey." The results showed that consumers considering elements such as "directors" and "online reviews" were found to be more active in movie consumption. The analysis of movie-watching frequency showed that the information considered when choosing a movie was different for high- and low-frequency movie viewers. Putting these factors together suggests that movie consumption can vary according to an individual's cultural capital, preferences, and their degree of movie information awareness. While existing studies have mostly analyzed the determinants of box office performance, the significance of the present study is its empirical analysis of individual movie information in terms of transaction cost. Based on the results above, it can be inferred that the cyclical structure of trading expenses influences movie consumption and, once preferences are formed through a certain level of consumption, the trading cost expenses decrease, which results in increasing consumption. Therefore, film makers need to establish and execute marketing strategies that appropriately use movie information so that consumers can reduce the trading costs necessary for movie watching.
From 2010, new keyword of so-called devising theatre in the Korean performing arts scene has emerged. The backdrop is the antipathy to the hierarchical creative environment, the search for a language that can reflect increasingly complex societies, and the influx of new performances from abroad. Of course, devising theatre can be realized in a wide variety of forms in the actual field, so it cannot be defined as one methodology. But commonly all these various forms of the attempts aim to create a democratic relationship among participants, and process-centered breakthrough in the hierarchy of creative materials such as texts, sounds. light and human body. In 2017, Creative VaQi seeks to find new keyword called 'Reality of Division in Korean Peninsula' and to develop it into performance languages experimenting inter-disciplinary devising methodology. The company conducted a walking trip alongside the division line(300km) and tried to achieve the landscape and traces of division. After the walking, they created a specific form and performing contents called "Walking Holiday" out of their experiences. In this thesis, I will analyze the whole process of the devising "Walking Holiday" and examine what kind of result it led to. Furthermore, I, as the director of "Walking Holiday" will continue to discuss new possibilities and limitations of devising theatre methods that the company tries and aim at this time.

Since the advent of color films, color has constantly evolved as an important component of visual art and has become an important role in innovative visual art design. According to film history data, filmmakers were interested in color since the film was created in 1895, but in the early stages of film development, film colors were only black and white. Because these two colors no longer satisfy viewers, more natural colors began to emerge from the film as it was colored. However, with the development of historical paintings, the lack of artistic creation and the public's level increased, making people more active in using colors because simple reproduction of natural colors alone does not satisfy people. The colors in the video are both techniques of expression and can be understood by mind and thought. It is also an indication that colors do not just exist, but they work strongly on human psychology. Now people are so motivated by repetitive and unimportant information that they find that the human intuitive system simplifies the information they receive unconsciously that they have certain customs and characteristics when they see things. Color is part of the film language, or color language can express the film's ideological themes or portray vivid characters in the film, and people are receiving more intuitive messages. This study analyzed the basic color components of bisexual lighting, namely, pink, blue, and purple, and analyzed how human psychology is affected through color, combining the scenes from the video. The purpose of this paper is to explore what color language bisexual lighting is expressed using color properties in images and how bisexual lighting interacts with human psychology through color.
The possibility of metaverse system to be a catalyst for hyper-connected society will be dependent on the speed of connected technological development and its social utilization in the same manner as AI technology. Putting these technical realization processes in brackets, this paper focus on some philosophical-political issues in connection with cognitive-ecological changes in the future cinema which will be influenced by the complexive techno-socio couples of accelerated development of metaverse system. Generally speaking, essence of metaverse system seems to be the degree of immersion by technical accuracy, but is not true. In perspective of cognitive-ecology, flow degree of a picture or photograph is relied not on 'accuracy of representation' but on its message's contextual link-up. In this aspect, real potentiality of metaverse system shall be understood in the context of cognitive-ecological changes of human brain's multi-intelligence networking abilities(intersection of augmentation-simulation and outside-inside) which will be activated in the new structure of natural-social-technological coupling of metaverse system. These cognitive-ecological potentialities have been partially actualized in the cinematic process of tripod mimesis for the longest time, [real contradiction/conflicts (Mimesis-1) -->fictional solutions of cinema (Mimesis-2) --> selective interpretation of spectator's wish fulfillment (Mimesis-3) --> real change (Mimesis-1')].
