  • 시스템의 한정된 자원을 다수의 사용자들이 프로그램 실행 시 자원을 효율적으로 배분하기 위하여 작업관리 시스템을 이용한다. IBM 시스템은 작업관리 시스템으로서 주로 LoadLeveler를 사용한다. LoadLeveler에서의 메모리 관리는 WLM(Workload Manager)에서 설정하며, WLM의 환경 설정에 따라 작업의 실행에 많은 영향을 받는다. 본 논문에서는 WLM의 환경 설정에 의한 LoadLeveler에서의 작업을 실행하면서 메모리 변화와 실행 시간을 측정하고 분석하였다. 따라서 시스템의 특성과 사용자 작업에 알맞은 최적의 WLM 환경을 적용함으로써 시스템의 안정성을 유지하고 전체 작업처리 효율을 증가시켰다.

  • 국방 연구개발은 사용군의 요구사항을 만족시키는 무기체계를 최단 기간, 최소 비용 및 고품질로 개발하고자 노력하고 있으며, 통합 무기체계 데이터베이스 전산 환경 하에서 체계공학 및 동시공학을 체계적으로 구현하기 위한 연구개발 프로세스 및 도구들이 개발되고 있다. 항공 무기체계 분야에서 본 논문의 연구개발 과정에서 생성되는 기술 자료를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 웹기반 체계운영관리시스템을 개발 및 운용하고 있으며, 기존 항공 무기체계 연구개발 사업에 적용하여 그 효율성을 입증 및 검증하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 통합 무기체계 데이터베이스 기반으로 향후 개발 예정인 보라매 사업, 무인항공기 및 무인전투기에 적용 가능한 통합 연구개발 프레임웍(Framework) 및 체계운영관리시스템의 발전 방안에 대해서 기술한다.

  • 전통적으로 컴퓨팅 자원을 많이 필요로 하는 기초과학 분야 뿐만 아니라 최근 딥러닝, ChatGPT와 같은 인공 지능 분야에서도 대규모의 컴퓨팅 자원에 대한 요구가 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 스케줄러 기반으로 운영되는 기존의 HPC 클러스터의 경우 성능 최적화를 위해 구성된 소프트웨어 스택의 경직성으로 인해 새로운 서비스 도입에 어려움이 있다. 이러한 어려움을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 컨테이너 기반의 가상화 기술로 개발된 MyKSC 서비스를 소개한다. MyKSC 는 기존의 HPC 클러스터와 쿠버네티스 클러스터가 공존하는 약 결합 아키텍쳐를 기반으로 설계되어 슈퍼컴퓨터 운영 센터에서는 기존의 소프트웨어 스택 변경 없이 손쉽게 적용할 수 있다. 또한 컨테이너 가상화 기술이 적용되어 사용자 맞춤형 서비스가 가능하며 웹 기반의 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스를 통해 슈퍼컴퓨터를 처음 사용하는 사용자도 쉽게 슈퍼컴퓨터를 활용할 수 있다.

  • All around the world, numerous scientists have been carried out researches of e-Science to improve performance of computations and accessibility of their experimental flexibilities for a long times. However, they still have been in difficulty securing high-performance computing facilities. In case of Aerodynamics, for example, a single experiment costs a tremendous amount of budget and requires a span of more than 6 months even though researchers have been developed diverse improved mathematical methods as well as relied on advanced computing technologies to reduce runtime and costs. In this paper, we proposed a multiple infrastructure-based scientific workflow environments for engineering education in fields of design optimization of aircraft and demonstrated the superiority. Since it offers diverse kind of computing resources, it can offer elastic resources regardless of the number of tasks for experiments and limitations of spaces. Also, it can improve education efficiency by using this environment to engineering education.

Analyzing Airport Network Characteristics Applied to the Structural Equivalence (구조적 등위성을 적용한 공항네트워크의 특성 분석)

  • This study dealt with the airport network applying the Structural Equivalence which has used in the field of social science network. It analyzed the size of aviation market and trade exchanges. The results between blocks through the Convergence of Iteration Correlation are as follows; Block 1 (major hub airport) and Block 5 (Australian and New Zealand airports) have a strong relationship between other blocks. Block 3 (CIS region) and Block 7 (Malaysia and Indonesia) have been indicated as relatively low degree. The structural equivalence analysis can be grouped as a small number of blocks with large and complex networks and also presented a significant result according to the nature of the relationship between aviation market and the level of trade exchanges.

A Study on Secondary School Students' Reasoning Types about Measurement (중.고등학생들의 측정에 대한 추론 유형 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the secondary school students' reasoning types in regards to measurement and to get implications for science education. The subjects were 197 middle school students and 200 high school students. The PMQ1 written instrument was used to explore students' ideas. Students' ideas about measurement were classified in two types of point and set reasoning. The reasoning types distribution were analyzed by grade and measurement step such as data collection, data processing, and data comparison. Reasoning types distribution by measurement step indicated that set reasoning type showed high figures in data processing, but point reasoning type appeared in data collection, and data comparison. Set reasoning type increased significantly by grade in data comparison. The majority of students recognized that the true value of the measurand can not be determined.

Comparison of News Frames between National Newspapers and Local Newspapers about Selecting a Site of National Project (국책사업입지선정 관련 중앙·지역신문 간 기사프레임 비교)

  • This study is an analysis of how national newspapers and local newspapers frame news contents over selecting of the site of International science-business belt. The results of analysis are as follows. First, in national newspapers, 'incompetent government frame' to criticize inconsistent policies and 'relapse prevention frame' were most commonly found. Second, newspapers in the region chosen as the site of an International Science-business belt and newspapers in the region not chosen showed a severe contrast in news frames. Most of news frames in the region chosen as the site of an International science-business belt were 'development frame' and 'performance frame'. On the other hand, newspapers in the region not chosen produced 'incompetent government frame' and 'protest frame' more than others. Finally, local newspapers in the area not related with the site of an International Science-business belt did not even deal with such an articles. These results show that to win large-scale national projects such as PIMFI facilities, local governments have been too much competitive and connected to a conflict.

  • Diverse disciplines such as information science, computer science, cognitive science, and industrial design, are activity engaged in the website evaluation research efforts. Information scientists emphasize the importance of user-centered and user-friendly website design, which is also easy to use, This idea is based on the understanding that the users and the designers are different set of people. In addition, information scientists consider the practice of maximally incorporating user inputs during the website design to be very important guideline. However, this study is based on a newly emerging population of website users who are also designers. 218 study participants evaluated the websites that they designed in comparison to the websites designed by others. According to the survey data analysis, the study participants considered the content delivery, design simplicity, design consistency, and link access of the websites to be equally important from both users' and designers' perspectives. However, the content organization, rich content, and screen composition were underestimated from the designers' point of view whereas these factors were considered to be important from users' point of view.

  • The consistency and balance of objectives by objective domains in units, sub-units and instructional units were investigated. The 6th elementary biology curricular teaching guidebooks were analysed. Domains of objectives are cognitive, inquiry process, instrumental skill, creative, affective and STS. Cognitive objectives were most dominant in all units, sub-units and instructional units. But no objective for creative domain were suggested. In unit and sub-unit, proportions of objectives were cognitive, inquiry process, affective, instrumental skill and STS domains in order. Objectives for cognitive and inquiry process domains were more than others in instructional units, Except cognitive and inquiry process domains, objectives for the others were not consistent in all units, sub-units and instructional units. Especially, the percentages of objectives for affective domain decreased in units, sub-units and instructional units orderly. These resulted from teaching objective domains categorized formally, Thus, it is necessary to develope curriculum and textbook to be consistent and balanced with objective domains and reflect upon the characteristics of them.

  • The paper discusses the issue of reality related to interaction between users and electronic figures that mediate by online game system. MMORPG(Massively Multiple Online Role Playing Game) has been known as virtual world that physically and electronically interconnect users and mechanical elements over huge area. Already game items have became a kind of reality for some users long time ago. How these figures could have been regarded as realities? It suggests to take place the temporality of practice around game world. Tremendous practices of human and machines produce their relations and these relations are reinforced self-referentialy. They could constitute their time-space frame that be situated a figure as the something in it.
