  • 당뇨병에 성기능장애가 많다는 것은 옛날부터 알려져 있지만 실제로는 그릇된 지식과 선입관에 의해 과장되게 잘못알고 있는 경우가 많다. 당뇨병이라고 모두 발기부전 환자는 아닌 것이며 정상 건강인보다 조금 높은 빈도를 보이는 것뿐이다. 식사요법과 운동요법으로 혈당조절을 잘하고 합병증을 예방하면 정상인과 다름없는 성생활을 할 수 있으며 인슐린 치료를 계속하면서 주의 깊게 혈당을 조절하고 합병증을 예방하면 60세 이후까지도 정상적인 성생활이 가능하다. 정상인도 노쇠하면 자연현상으로 언젠가는 모두 발기부전이 되므로 당뇨병환자만이 발기부전이 오는 것은 아니므로 미리 겁내고 불안해할 필요는 없는 것이다. 당뇨병환자중에는 선입관에 의해 당뇨라는 진단을 받고 정신적 충격과 그릇된 지식으로 심인성 발기부전에 빠지는 사람이 상당히 많다. 그러므로 당뇨병환자는 정상인보다 더 많은 노력을 하며 합병증의 병발을 미연에 방지하는 것이 가장 중요하다.

  • 본(本) 논문(論文)에서는 기업 내부자와 자본시장 간에 정보(情報)의 배분(配分)이 불균등할 경우 외부자금의 조달 및 주주에 대한 현금배당 등의 재무정책(財務政策)에 관한 장기계획의 수립에서 고려하여야 할 문제들을 2단계(2段階) 효율적신호(效率的信號) 균형(均衡)의 모형(模型)을 통하여 분석하였다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서는 단위 기간의 연결체인 장기모형을 동태적(動態的)으로 분석함으로써 각 단위 기간의 모형 구성이 기존의 연구들과 유사함에도 불구하고 기존의 정태적(靜態的) 분석(分析)들에서 밝혀지지 않았던 현상들까지 설명이 가능하였다. 기존의 연구들에서 밝혀진 배당(配當) 및 신주발행(新株發行)의 정보효과(情報效果)는 본 연구의 동태적 균형에서도 나타났으나, 일반적으로 정태적 모형들이 재무정책(財務政策)의 정보효과에 기인한 투자정책의 왜곡을 지나치게 과장하고 있음을 보였다. 또 기존의 연구들에서는 분석이 곤란하였던 배당 및 기업 내부자금의 장기적 균등화의 문제를 분석하여 적정 여유자금의 보유가 기업가치의 증대에 도움이 됨을 보였다.

  • A handwritten poster named "How are you, really?" appeared on December 10, 2013. And other handwritten posters sympathizing with it followed in places and are on everyone's lips hotly through internet and SNS. Such a social phenomenon is delivered to readers as a form of article in different meanings according to the viewpoint of each press. It is also delivered to readers as a material for delivering a meaning of a specific case in four panel comics strips and satirical cartoon of newspaper. This is because that comic strips of the press are now having a power to enlighten readers on the key point of a case easily and intuitively together with catharsis from the position of meditating the world. Notwithstanding differences depending on the viewpoints of the press or cartoonist, four panel comics strips and satirical cartoon on the newspaper are fulfilling their social role having their own voice. Of the genres of comic strips, social role of the comics of the press can be divided largely into two things. First, they actively intervene in social phenomena. In other words, comics of the press make their position and insistence on social phenomena clearly by exaggeration and emphasis. Second, they persuade or enlighten readers by concrete directions, which means that comics of the press make reader with similar viewpoint emphasize by delivering a clear message. This study aims to assert that comic strips are the most important medium with social role and responsibility. As part of studies on the social role of comics, this study wish that comic strips can be able to deviate from vicious circle of being socially condemned for reason of negative portion.

The Uncanny Valley Effect for Celebrity Faces and Celebrity-based Avatars (연예인 얼굴과 연예인 기반 아바타에서의 언캐니 밸리)

  • As virtual space activities become more common, human-virtual agents such as avatars are more frequently used instead of people, but the uncanny valley effect, in which people feel uncomfortable when they see artifacts that look similar to humans, is an obstacle. In this study, we explored the uncanny valley effect for celebrity avatars. We manipulated the degree of atypicality by adjusting the eye size in photos of celebrities, ordinary people, and their avatars and measured the intensity of the uncanny valley effect. As a result, the uncanny valley effect for celebrities and celebrity avatars appeared to be stronger than the effect for ordinary people. This result is consistent with previous findings that more robust facial representations are formed for familiar faces, making it easier to detect facial changes. However, with real faces of celebrities and ordinary people, as in previous studies, the higher the degree of atypicality, the greater the uncanny valley effect, but this result was not found for the avatar stimulus. This high degree of tolerance for atypicality in avatars seems to be caused by cartoon characters' tendency to have exaggerated facial features such as eyes, nose, and mouth. These results suggest that efforts to reduce the uncanny valley in the virtual space service using celebrity avatars are necessary.

  • The purpose of this study was to define the moaning and features of humor in modern fashion. by examining how it's being grafted into fashion, based on artistic expression including collage, assemblage, photo montage, graffiti, transformation, distortion, exaggeration and optical illusion. Beside. humor of fashion is to examine not only laugh and fun but also formative expression and creativity. Furthermore, it is to enlarge the range of conception for future fashion. The findings of this study could be described as below: The features of humorous fashion by collage and assemblage boiled down to unexpectedness, disharmony and creativity. The photo montage was marked by popularity, reproduction and recreativity, and graffiti was characterized by attention, simpleness, and amusement. And there were unexpectedness, creativity and strangeness in transformation, distortion, magnification and optical illusion. The meaning of humorous fashion that carries such features could eventually be summarized into the followings : First, the fashion, from which collage, assemblage, photo montage. graffiti, transformation, distortion, magnification and optical illusion were detected. could be sorted out into several categories that used different things : introduction of objects of different nature, dramatic impression and wit based on photo montage technique, introduction of comic components and infant image, and destruction of aesthetic principles. Second, the substance of humor in art could be applied to fashion design as well as visual art. Humor is a property related to accidental, unexpected incident, behavior, situation or idea, and it puts laugh, disharmony or awkwardness in fashion. Third, spicing fashion with humor could serve to draw people's attention, break down the barrier among people exposed to dry sentiment, and connect the public with art.

A study of the Cartoonish Element in Folk Painting (민화(民畵)의 만화(漫畵)적 요소 연구)

  • The discussion on folk painting (minwha) has been continued till recent in various ways. MinWha is applied by painting artists and also utilized as a basic material of design. These are the attempts approved by the viewpoint of the 'Korean beauty'. In saying so, minwha symbolizes for typical types of Korean painting, and is articulated as an aspect of forgotten spirit. However, despite the fact of Minwha's frequent application, and its evident originality, it remains only the thread of the existence. Although minwha has a lot of commonalities and similarities with the characteristics of cartooning, a decisive attempt of cartooning is hardly shown through. Therefore, this paper is aim to classify creative paintings by the distinctive features of minwha, such as exaggeration and abridgment, sarcasm and current affair aspect, common technique of art drawing, caricatured element, expression of an ideal world, various techniques from artist's different comprehension, etcetera and to make opportunity to constructively apply these features in cartoons. The types of minwha are mostly classified by the contents of the painting. However, since the purpose of this thesis is to find caricatured aspects in minwha, it will be largely classified by the elements of animal, plant, human, insect species, finny tribe, feathered tribe, and nature phenomenon. This classification takes advantage of accessibility to understand the characterization of the object, and leads to take a positive approach.

  • A rapid increase was observed among individuals who want to communicate through a Social Networking Service (SNS). The increasing number of SNS users who create and share information resulted in a huge volume of SNS information. This deluge of information decreases the interest of SNS users, thereby prompting them to generate stimulating and exaggerated information to draw attention to themselves. This study aims to examine the effect of SNS users' desire for attention and share their tourism experience. This study utilizes use and gratification theory and investigates the moderating effect of gender. The analysis shows that the desire for attention influences sharing of tourism experience through compliance and identification at the level of SNS commitment. Gender difference was observed between compliance and identification. This study provides theoretical and practical implications based on the results.

  • Satirical cartoon features figure characters that liken to particular figures or social phenomenon to satirize particular figures or social phenomenon. Through the words and actions of figure characters in satirical carton, fraudulentact of man in power or irrational social phenomenon is revealed. The National Intelligence Service (NIS) female agent that is the figure character of this study has been appearing in satirical cartoon for a long time and it likens to social phenomenon instead of a actual figure. The reason why the NIS female agent has been appearing as a figure character in satirical cartoon for a long time is because related social phenomenon has not ended and is still in progress. In addition, the reason why it likens to social phenomenon instead of an actual figure is based on the fact that it is not easy to identify her face that has been hidden, which makes it difficult to exaggerate the characteristic of the figure. Her hidden face is also an expression of the desire to hide that is symbolized by baseball cap and muffler. Her hidden face and the desire to hide make it easy to substitute to other related figure or social phenomenon instead of actual figure. Namely, outward appearance of the NIS female agent has a good condition for combining 'added significance' in satirical cartoon. Irrelevant to actual NIS female agent, a satirical cartoon figure of NIS female agent is being combined with various meanings when needed and it is substituted as another figure, group or social phenomenon as the actual figure disappears. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to reveal the role of figure character in satirical cartoon by symbolically analyzing the figure character that appears in satirical cartoon as 'NIS female agent'. The followings were revealed through the symbolic analysis of figure character in satirical cartoon in this study. First, satirical cartoon satirizes social phenomenon. Figure character in satirical cartoon satirizes social phenomenon in place of actual figure. Second, satirical cartoon satirizes core or embarrassing area of irrational social phenomenon created by politics. Third, satirical cartoon sends a message of warning to a responsible person of irrational social phenomenon created by politics. Diversity of Anther-derived Plants in Hot pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) (고추 약배양 후대식물체의 다양성)

  • Anthers of three cross combinations of hot-pepper(Capsicum annuum L.) were cultured on Dumas De Vaulx medium supplemented with some growth regulators. The embryo production efficiency and the diversity for agronomic traits in $A_2$ lines were investigated. The embryo production frequencies of hybrid combinations were ranged from 16.4% to 43.4%, the highest embryo induction combination was DGSH $\times$ C-NH with 43.4% embryogenic efficiency. Among total 275 $A_2$ lines, phenotypic variants were found in six lines, 2.1% variant frequency. The diversity of $A_2$ lines derived from anther culture was different according to the cross combinations. Fruit color was within parental range, no transgressive variation was observed. However leaf color showed transgressive variation. In fruit length, fruit width and fruit weight, one C-HC $\times$ DGSH and DGSH $\times$ C-NH showed great diversity compared with doner parents while Cheokjo 1 $\times$ C-NH crossed with Cheokjo 1 with big fruit shape showed small diversity. Stem length to 1st branch was relatively similer to or longer than donor parents. Stem thick exhibited remarkable diversity. Node number to 1st branch distributed alomost within the range of donor parents in C-HC $\times$ DGSH combination, however great transgressive variations were observed in DGSH $\times$ C-NH and Cheokjo 1 $\times$ C-NH combinations.

  • This study is on the general characteristics of 'Monolithic' architecture. The intentions of monolithic architecture can be assumed as an attempt to replace the formal looseness or difficulties of understanding formal complexity of modern architecture, or a trial to react against contemporary avant-garde architectural tendency typically characterized as unstableness, uncertainty, fluidity, and articulation to reestablish autonomy of architecture. Buildings in this category coincide in their extreme economy and simplicity of overall form and consistency of external appearance while showing great expressional capacity with very limited formal means. Even though monolithic architecture still seems a little unstable and ambiguous in historical aspects, it can be considered as strikingly shaped objects or autonomous forms with identities, logics, and representation that promote recognition. Using architectural techniques of scale, colors, materials and finishes, monolithic architecture shows strategically invested surfaces that mediate between the inside and the outside, and shows unexpected and mysterious autonomy. This kind of monolithic approach is also found in interior space as a separate objects that contain functional space inside, or as formal elements that overflow the boundaries of conventional architecture by eliminating the distinction between floor, wall, and ceiling.
