본 논문은 전력계통 과도안정도 해석에서 많이 쓰이고 있는 가스터빈 모델인 GAST 모델과 GAST2A 모델에 대해서 과도안정도 관점에서 모의 비교한다. 두 가스터빈 모델은 1기 무한모선으로 계통을 구성하여 정상상태에서 조속기 10% 스텝응동 특성을 모의하여 서로 응동특성이 같도록 모델정수를 튜닝하였다. 그리고 발전단에 150 ms 3상 단락사고를 발생시켜 과도상태 특성을 비교하였다. 3상 단락사고인 경우 배기가스 온도제한이 없는 정상 출력상태인 경우와 온도제한 제어특성이 활성화 되는 출력인 경우를 상정하여 비교 분석하였다.

An algorithm was developed to estimate stability indices (SI) over the Korean peninsula using Terra Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) infrared brightness temperatures (TBs). The SI is defined as the stability of the atmosphere in the hydrostatic equilibrium with respect to the vertical displacements and is used as an index for the potential severe storm development. Using atmosphere temperature and moisture profiles from Regional Data Assimilation and Prediction System (RDAPS) as initial guess data for a nonlinear physical relaxation method, K index (KI), KO Index (KO), lifted index (LI), and maximum buoyancy (MB) were estimated. A fast radiative transfer model, RTTOV-7, is utilized for reducing the computational burden related to the physical relaxation method. The estimated TBs from the radiative transfer simulation are in good agreement with observed MODIS TBs. To test usefulness for the short-term forecast of severe storms, the algorithm is applied to the rapidly developed convective storms. Compared with the SIs from the RDAPS forecasts and NASA products, the MODIS SI obtained in this research predicts the instability better over the pre-convection areas. Thus, it is expected that the nowcasting and short-term forecast can be improved by utilizing the algorithms developed in this study.

항공기의 비행 안정성을 판별하기 위해서는 정적(static)안정성과 동적(dynamic)안정성을 모두 고려해야 한다. 본 연구는 EDISON_CFD의 KFLOW_EDISON_2D3DOF, 2D_Com_P해석자를 이용해 2차원익형의 정적(static)계수와 동적(dynamic)계수를 구해 항공기 전체형상의 정적 안정성 및 동적 안정성을 분석하였다. 그 중 2015년도 인간 동력 항공기대회 건국대학교 참가 기체를 예시로 연구를 진행하였다. 주익 익형 SG6043과 미익 익형 NACA0012을 EDISON_CFD를 이용하여 각 익형의 모멘트계수를 구하고 그 결과값을 이용하여 기체의 무게중심에 대한 각 익형의 감쇠계수를 계산하였다. 그리고 주익과 미익의 면적비율과 코드길이의 비율을 고려해 전체 항공기형상의 안정성과 비행 형태를 분석하였다.

Fluorescent lamps are widely accepted to energy efficient commercial lighting applications. In designing a fluorescent lamp system, a ballast design heavily relies on the characteristic of a fluorescent lamp under consideration. Especially, at startup time, the transient characteristic of a fluorescent lamp puts much tighter specification of a design. In this paper, based on the transient characteristic at the startup time, a transient behavioral model of a fluorescent lamp is presented with an equivalent circuit. The model is applicable to the wide range of fluorescent lamps provided by different manufacturers. The experimental results are compared with the results provided by PSPICE simulation. The result shows the model is effective In practice. As a result, we could identify more accurate startup constraints to decide the design of either an electro mechanical or an electronic ballast.

The uranium(VI) complexes with new unsaturated macrocyclic ligands of cryptand types and the neodymium(III) complexes with cryptand 222 and DBC ligands have been investigated polarographically in dimethylsulfoxide solvent. The reduction states, electron numbers involved in the reduction process, effects of the added acid on the polarograms of complexes, and the mechanisms of the reduction electrode reactions have been examined. The stability constants and mole-ratio of new complexes were also obtained by polarographic method. The reaction of ligands was controlled by the diffusion in the reduction with four electrons at a step, whereas the redox reaction with six electrons at three steps in $UO_2\;^{2+}$ complexes with macrocyclic ligands and the redox reaction with one electron at a step in $Nd^{3+}$ complexes with cryptand 222 and DBC have been observed. The imine ligands formed stable complexes with uranium(VI) above pH 7.0, and the neodymium(III) complexes with cryptand 222 and DBC ligands were stable above pH 4.0.

참여정부가 출범한 지 3년이 지났다. 역대 어느 정권보다 참여정부는 부동산 시장 안정을 정책의 최우선 순위에 두고 시장안정, 투기세력 엄단을 부르짖었다. 하지만 참여정부의 부동산 정책에 대한 평가는 보는 시각에 따라 극명하게 엇갈린다. 참여정부의 부동산 정책에 대한 평가와 진단 그리고 향후 대처 방안에 대해 알아보도록 하자.

불연속면이 발달한 암반 내에서 터널을 굴착하는 경우 불연속면을 고려한 터널의 역학적 안정성을 검토하는 것이 중요하다. 불연속 암반 내에 터널을 굴착하게 되면 대부분의 거동은 불연속면에서 발생하게 된다. 이는 암반블록보다 암반 내 불연속면의 강성이 현저하게 작기 때문이다. 불연속면을 고려한 터널의 안정성 해석은 암반을 연속체로 가정할 때 필요한 입력변수 외에 여러 종류의 입력변수가 추가로 필요하다.(중략)

새 정부의 부동산 정책 기조는 공급 확대를 통한 시장 안정이다. 하지만 정권 초기에는 일단 '주거 복지'에 초점이 맞춰질 것으로 보인다. 새 정부는 기존에 참여정부가 진행해왔던 서민을 위한 주택 공급 확대를 통해 집값을 안정시키고, 점차적으로 시장 원리에 따른 부동산 정책을 시행할 것으로 보인다. 발표된 새 정부의 부동산 정책을 짚어보자.
