A Study of Improvement on the Quickness of Current controller for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM 전류제어기의 속응성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • A improved current controller with reference modification part that has both fast transient response in transient state and high accuracy in steady state is proposed. In this scheme, a improved reference modification part is used to synchronous frame PI controller for the fast transient state. The transient response of current controller is seriously deteriorated in high back e.m.f.(electromotive force) due to the lack of DC link control voltage. This paper is proposed that the improved reference modification part is compared with voltage limit and reference voltage.

  • In this paper, we design a flight controller using a dynamic compensator for a small unmanned aerial vehicle. The proposed method ensures flight stability during altitude holding and waypoints passing by improving the transient response and steady state error. The control system consists of dual feedback loops with an inner loop and a outer loop. The inner loop has a PD controller to improves the transient response and the outer loop has a dynamic compensator to reduce overshoot in the transient response and improve the steady state error. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by flight test on a small UAV.

  • 본 논문에서는 3상 Z-소스 PWM 정류기의 DC-link단 과도응답 특성을 개선하기 위해 PI제어기를 사용한 대신에 제어 대상에 대한 정확한 수식이 없이도 제어기 설계가 가능한 퍼지 PI제어기를 이용하였다. 제안한 퍼지 PI-제어기 기반의 PWM 정류기는 교류측 전압과 전류 센서 없이 DC-link단 전압과 전류 센서만을 이용하여 교류측 전압과 전류를 추정하였으며, 이를 PSIM 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력품질 향상용 전력전자기기의 제어에 중요한 정보인 전원의 위상각을 검출하는 기존의 방법들에 대해서 먼저 알아보고, 그 중 불평형한 전원단 전압조건에서도 정확한 위상각을 검출할 수 있는 전차원 상태관측기를 이용한 정상분 전압 추출 PLL(Phase Locked Loop) 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 PLL 방법은 기존의 전역 통과 필터(APF, All Pass Filter)를 이용한 정상분 전압추출기 대신 전차원 상태관측기를 사용함으로써 불평형사고 발생 시 과도상태 응답특성을 개선하였다. 기존의 정상분 전압 추출 PLL 방법과 본 논문에서 제안된 PLL 방법의 성능을 비교하기 위해, 전원단 전압에 불평형 사고 발생시 위상각을 검출하는 모의실험과 실험을 하였고, 이를 통해 기존의 전역 통과 필터를 이용한 정상분 전압 추출 PLL 방법보다 제안된 전차원 상태관측기를 이용한 정상분 전압 추출 PLL 방법의 과도상태 응답특성이 개선됨을 입증하였다.

  • The gain-clamped EDFA has been developed to eliminate the output power change of WDM surviving channels to occur with added or dropped channels, which degrades the performance of EDM optical network. It maintains the constant gain of surviving channels when WDM channels are added or dropped in a network amplifying node. In this paper, the bi-directionally pumped gain-clamped EDFA is implemented to compensate the change of the input power by a lasing. The results show that the alsing of a short wavelength and backward propagation is the optimal condition to minimize the transient response of surviving channels in terms of the overshoot and gain saturation sue to the inhomogeneous broadening effect.

  • In this paper, a non-coherent code tracking loop is designed for 3GPP HSDPA MODEM and its performance is analyzed in terms of steady-state jitter variance and transient response characteristics. Analytical closed-form formula for steady-state jitter variance is first derived for AWGN environments as a function of pulse-shaping filter, timing offset, signal-to-interference ratio, and loop bandwidth. Also obtained is the transient response characteristic of a tracking loop. Finally, the performance of the designed tracking loop is confirmed by computer simulations.

  • This paper describes a practical system to classify material temperature responses by composition of curve fitting and neuro-fuzzy inference. There are problems with a classification system which utilizes temperature responses. It requires too much time to approach the steady state of temperature response and it has to be filtered to remove the noise which occurs in experiments. Thus, this paper proposes a practical method using curve fitting only for transient state to remove the above problems of time and noise. Using the neuro-fuzzy system, the thermal conductivity of the material can be inferred on various ambient temperatures. So the material can be classified via its inferred thermal conductivity. To realize the system, we designed a contact sensor which has a similar structure with human finger, implemented a hardware system, and developed a classification software of curve fitting and neuro-fuzzy algorithm.

The Computation of True Thrust Using only the Measured Thrust (측정된 추력 데이터만을 이용한 실제 추력의 계산)

  • The measured thrust could be distorted because of the transient response of thrust stand during combustion of rocket motor. As a result of the distorted thrust, it is not easy for us to know the values of thrust peak and thrust duration time. Therefore, it is of great importance to compute the true thrust from the measured thrust. In this study the method to eliminate the transient response from the measured thrust using only the measured thrust was Proposed, and also experimental data were used to approve the proposed method. The result showed that the proposed method would be available to compute the true thrust.

Transient Voltage Measuring System Using the Capacitive Electric Field Sensor (용량성 전장센서를 이용한 과도전압측정계)

  • This paper deals with the capacitive voltage divider which can measure a transient voltages generated by operating a high voltage impulse generator. The transient voltage measuring system using the capacitive electric field sensor consists of the planar-type electric field sensor having a fast response characteristic and the wide-bandwidth voltage follower, and the input impedance of which is extremely high, about $10^{12}{\Omega}$. In order to analyze the response characteristics to a step input, the newly developed calibration method is proposed, and the error of voltage dividing ratio associated with set-up condition is investigated. Also the optimal set-up condition that is to be maintained within the range of 0.5 % is taken. From the calibration experiment, the frequency bandwidth of the transient voltage measuring system whose response time to a step input is about 15.8 ns, is from 6.37 Hz to 27.3 MHz. Therefore it is possible to measure the commercial frequency voltages as well as the transient over voltages without signal distortions.

  • Electronic systems may be cause of various serious failures due to an ionizing radiation effect when exposed to a prompt gamma-ray pulse. This transient electrical malfunction can, in some cases, results in a failure of the electronic system of which the circuits are a part. Transient radiation measurement and evaluation system is required to development for enhanced radiation-resistance against the initial nuclear radiation produced by the detonation of a nuclear weapon of semiconductor devices. In these studies, we performed the following work. In the first part of the work, we carried out a SPICE simulation applied to nuclear radiation condition for PN diode and we also investigated the photocurrent by a pulsed gamma-ray on a PN diode using a TCAD simulation.
