  • 현재 사용되는 차량 검지기는 크게 두 가지 검지기가 사용되고 있다. 그 종류는 루프 검지기와 영상 검지기인데 지금 이러한 두 가지 유형은 설치 이용되고 있고, 이러한 검지기로부터 수집된 교통량, 속도 등의 실시간 교통 자료는 가공과정을 거친 후 반복/비 반복 정체관리, 돌발 상황관리, 경로안내 서비스 등 다양한 서비스에 활용하고 있으나, 이들 용도 이외에 더욱더 다양한 서비스를 지원하는 작업이 필요하며 예를 들면, 교통정책 평가, 교통사업 평가, 교통안전 증진 등의 다양한 목적으로 활용하는 서비스를 지원하는 것이어야 하겠다. 따라서 현재 이용되는 차량 검지기 시스템의 확대 설치가 이루어져야 한다. 그러나 루프 검지기와 영상 검지기는 복잡한 공사를 수반하며, 가격 또한 높고 USN 기반의 인식 기술에 비해 경제성과 경쟁력이 떨어진다. 따라서 다양한 공공/민간 교통서비스 및 u-City의 응용 서비스 기술에 필요한 USN 기반의 차량 식별/인식/속도 검지 기술의 개발이 필요하다.

  • 자동차 번호판 인식은 대중적인 감시 기술 중의 한 종류로서, 주어진 비디오나 영상 내 광학문자 인식을 수반한다. 고속도로나 국도 상에 과속 단속 시스템, 재형 건물이나 유통센서 및 주차장 등에서 주차 정산 시스템, 고속도로 톨 게이트에서 hi-pass 에러 및 불법 도주 차량 잔속 시스템, 전국 주요 도로 불법 주 정차 단속 시스템, 공공기관, 기업 출퇴근 시간 확인 및 외부 차양 안내 시스템 등의 지능형 교통 시스템(ITS)이나 국도 상에 범위 차량 검거 시스템, 사건 발생 시 주요 도로상에 설치된 CCTV를 통해 용의 차량 이동 추적 시스템, 이동식 범죄 차량 조회, 버스에 탑재된 버스 전용차선 위반 단속들의 지능형 방범 시스템 등에 활용하고 있다. 번호판 인식은 자동차 번호판 국부화, 번호판의 크기, 차원, 명암대비, 밝기를 조정하는 정규화, 개별문자를 얻어내는 문자 분할, 문자를 인식하는 광학 문자 인식, 번호판의 형태, 크기, 위치 들이 연도별, 지역별로 차이가 있는 번호판들의 데이터베이스를 비교하여 구문 분석을 하는 절차를 거친다. 본 논문에서는 EmguCV를 이용하여 구현한 번호판 감지를 수행하여 위치를 찾아내고, 오픈 소스 광학 문자 인식 엔진으로 잘 알려져 있는 테서렉트 OCR을 이용하여 번호판의 문자를 인식하는 자동 인식 프로그램을 구현하고 기술하였다.

A Directional Perception System based on Human Detection for Public Guide Robots (공공 안내 로봇을 위한 인체 검출 기반의 방향성 감지 시스템)

  • Most public guide robots installed in public spots such as exhibition halls and lobbies of department store etc., have poor capability to distinguish the users who require services. As to provide suitable services, public guide robots should have a human detection system that makes it possible to evaluate intention of customers from their movement direction. In this paper, a DPS (Directional Perception System) is realized based on face detection technology. In particular, to catch human movement efficiently and reduce computational time, human detection technology using face rectangle, which is obtained from the human face, is developed. DPS determines which customer needs services of public guide robots by investigating the size and direction of face rectangle. If DPS is adapted, guide service will be provided with more satisfaction and reliability, and power efficiency also can be added up because public guide robots provide services only for the users who expresses their intentions of wanting services explicitly. Finally, through several experiments, the feasibility of the proposed DPS is verified.

  • There are many systematic approaches to manage Interlibrary loan (ILL) efficiently. In this paper, we propose an operating method reducing user-waiting in ILL. Users are usually informed to wait around two to three days in a regional ILL service. The reason of the waiting is that there is inefficiency in running material-delivery vehicles. A mixed integer programming is employed to resolve this issue. It provides an optimal vehicle-route maximizing material-deliveries subject to time availability. We used an actual data of a regional ILL system to provide optimal vehicle routes under different time settings.

  • Every year until 2012, it had increased the domestic and foreign tourists for Busan. However, since 2013 the situation of tourists has decreased. The main reason is why there were difficulties in finding basic facilities such as toilet facilities. Therefore, in this paper we deveop the application that help create the pleasant sightseeing environment by preventing foreign tourists from experiencing embarrassing accidents due to the unfamiliarity with Busan. As well as it merges with several other tourist applications, we can expect a greater expected effect.

  • 최근 온라인 학습의 비중이 증가함에 따라 온라인 학습 서비스의 일부인 온라인 상담 부분도 비례하여 증가하고 있으며, 많은 상담량으로 인해 상담 서비스의 품질이 저하되고 답변의 속도, 효율성도 감소하는 문제가 발생한다. 국내 교육기관에서는 서비스 개선과 사용자 맞춤형서비스를 제공하기 위해 다양한 연구를 진행하고 있으며 민원을 처리하는 챗봇 등 자동 답변 서비스 도입을 추진하고 있다. 챗봇 및 자동 답변 서비스는 서비스 제공자 입장에서 저예산으로 단순한 질문에 대하여 신속하고 효율적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있으며 서비스 이용자는 즉각적인 답변과 유사한 답변 예시를 확인함으로 질문을 빠르게 해결할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 국가 공공기관에서 제공하는 학습 서비스는 단순하고 반복적인 문의가 많고 정형적인 질의응답이 주로 등록이 되고 있다. 자동 답변 서비스는 이런 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 대안이 된다. 서비스 이용자가 등록한 문의를 기반으로 학습한 답변 서비스는 담당자의 반복된 업무처리 경감과 사용자의 답변감소, 일관된 답변처리로 서비스 품질개선에 큰 영향을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자의 질문에 효율적인 답변 및 민원 처리 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방법을 제시하며, 관리자의 업무능력 향상과 효율성을 위해 기간별 키워드 빈도수를 계산하여 Word cloud를 생성하여 제공함으로써 사용자들에게 일정 기간 내 빈도수가 높은 키워드 관련 공지 및 안내를 할 수 있도록 한다.

The Analysis and Implication of Link Integrity of Korean Public Institution Website from a Web Usability Perspective (웹 사용성 관점에서 공공기관 웹 사이트의 링크 유효성 분석 및 개선 과제)

  • Web usability is utilized as a standard for constructing and managing website to be useful by people of all abilities and disabilities. Link integrity is one of main criteria for web usability evaluation. Links that are found to be broken or pointing to irrelevant information lead gradual degradation of link integrity over time. This study has conducted investigation for link integrity of Korean public institution website. Among 49 website that are accessible by an automatic link checker software, 91.8% of the website has more than one broken links. Also average number of broken links is 50.5 that is 0.33% of the number of links. 29 websites consist of internal broken links. And 22 website do not provide any information on the missing page. Broken links enlower website confidence by reducing web usability as well as they prohibit web search engine not to provide information on the website. Therefore, web developers and managers need to be aware of importance of link integrity and prohibit web usability degradation by performing link validation as a web management task or periodically.

Analysis of Space Use Patterns of Public Library Users through AI Cameras (AI 카메라를 활용한 공공도서관 이용자의 공간이용행태 분석 연구)

  • This study investigates user behavior in library spaces through the lens of AI camera analytics. By leveraging the face recognition and tracking capabilities of AI cameras, we accurately identified the gender and age of visitors and meticulously collected video data to track their movements. Our findings revealed that female users slightly outnumbered male users and the dominant age group was individuals in their 30s. User visits peaked between Tuesday to Friday, with the highest footfall recorded between 14:00 and 15:00 pm, while visits decreased over the weekend. Most visitors utilized one or two specific spaces, frequently consulting the information desk for inquiries, checking out/returning items, or using the rest area for relaxation. The library stacks were used approximately twice as much as they were avoided. The most frequented subject areas were Philosophy(100), Religion(200), Social Sciences(300), Science(400), Technology(500), and Literature(800), with Literature(800) and Religion(200) displaying the most intersections with other areas. By categorizing users into five clusters based on space utilization patterns, we discerned varying objectives and subject interests, providing insights for future library service enhancements. Moreover, the study underscores the need to address the associated costs and privacy concerns when considering the broader application of AI camera analytics in library settings.

A Study on the Evaluation and Improvement of Accessibility in Korean Online e-Journal (국내 온라인 학술지의 접근성 평가 및 개선에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to improve the accessibility of websites that can search for online e-journals and check the original text, and the accessibility of web contents in the form of article papers. In order to publish online e-journals in Korea, article contribution management system is used, and services are provided through public or private academic DB companies. There was no content related to accessibility in the publishing and editing stage of online e-journals. In the case of foreign countries, objective to comply with Level AA of WCAG 2.1 to improve accessibility of websites and web content. In addition, the level of accessibility of academic journals is guided through VPAT. In order to improve access to web content in online journals, Accessibility matters are added to the academic society's editorial and publication regulations. Accessibility education should be provided to journal editors. Accessibility checklists should be developed and researchers should verify themselves. To improve the accessibility of online e-journals to websites, For equal use, various convenience functions should be provided when using the website. It guides the accessibility function to the article contribution management system. Each academic and academic DB company should be required to submit a Korean VPAT.

A Study on the Application of Universal Design in the Public Cultural Space -Focused on the Museums and Art Museums in Busan City- (공공 문화공간의 유니버설디자인 적용 현황 연구 -부산시 박물관 및 미술관을 중심으로-)

  • This study takes cultural space facilities as the research object, trying to grasp the status quo of universal design. By selecting Busan Museum, Busan Museum of Art, and Busan Museum of Modern Art, masters the applicability and characteristics of universal design, and gets the improvements. First, through literature review, the concepts of universal design and evaluation elements are considered. Secondly, obtains five evaluation elements by analyzing previous research. Thirdly, a field survey of various cultural spaces were conducted. gains the relevant status and problems of universal design. According to the results of the detailed evaluation project of cultural space also shuowed that the Busan Museum of Modern Art, Busan Museum, and Busan Museum of Modern Art followed in order, while the average applicability of the universal design of the three cultural spaces accounts for 53.6%. In addition, the results of the average evaluation of the facilities show that the additional facilities are the best, in turn internal facilities, sanitation facilities, other facilities, and guidelines facilities. In the future, it is deemed necessary to conduct regular surveys on universal design and renovate related facilities for public cultural facilities.
