Phase and microstructure of hot-pressed SiC-AlN solid solutions (열간가압소결에 의한 SiC-AIN 고용체의 상 및 미세구조)

  • High-density SiC-AIN solid solutions were fabricated from powder mixtures of $\beta$-SiC and AIN by hot-pressing in the 1870 to $2030^{\circ}C$ temperature range. The reaction of AIN and $\beta$-SiC (3C) powder transformed to the 2 H (wurzite) structure appeared to depend on the temperature and SiC/A1N ratio and seeds present. The crystalline phases consisted of a SiC-rich solid-solution phase and an A1N-rich solid-solution phase. At $2030^{\circ}C$ for 1 h, for a composition of 50 % AIN/50 % SiC with a seeding of $\alpha$-SiC, the complete solid solution could be obtained and the microstructures are equiaxed with a relatively homogeneous grain size of 2 H phases. The variation of the seeding of $\alpha$-SiC in SIC-A1N solid solutions could be attributed to the transformation behaviour and differences in size and shape of the grains, as well as to other factors, such as grain size distributions, compositional inhomogeneity, and structural defects.

  • The Korean labor market is changing very fast after the economic crisis. In the middle of 2000, the unemployment rate has decreased to the less than 4% and wage income has recovered to its pre-crisis level. However, the number of employed and the labor market participation rate has not yet recovered, and income inequality is widening. In this situation, there is some concern about the potential for the histeresis phenomenon, which occurred in Europe after 1970, and means that a high unemployment rate could continued regardless of price levels. Therefore, focus should be placed on the labor market policy for the 21 st century reducing structural unemployment through creation of jobs in order to solve problems of unemployment and income distribution simultaneously.

  • 새로운 복합페로브스카이트계 고용체 (1-x)Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3-xLa(Mg2/3Ta1/3)O3(x=0.0-1.0)를 설계하고 조성에 따른 고용체의 결정구조의 변화 및 MPB(Morphotropic Phase Boundary)를 분말 XRD를 이용하여 분석하였다. 초격자회절선의 변화로부터 MBT에 10mol%의 LMT를 치환함에 따라 1:2에서 1:1로의 규칙화타입의 전이가 일어남을 알 수 있었다. 면심입방정구조 영역(0.10.8조성의 경우, 주회절선의 피이크분리 및 새로운 회절선들로부터 격자비틀림의 형태가 단사정임을 알 수 있었다.

The effects of UIC Cooperation Programs on Youth Employment (정부 산학연협력 지원의 고용효과 분석)

  • In the rapid trend of social change, such as the 4th industrial revolution and the realignment of job structures, university-industry cooperation(UIC) is emphasized as a key factor in enhancing national competitiveness. The level of UIC in Korea is insufficient compared to national competitiveness, and despite the world-class R&D investment, there is a lack of linkage between the result of technology development and the industrial field, and the knowledge-transfer between university and industry is also insufficient. This paper analyzed the employment effects of UIC program supported by government, especially youth employment effects. The companies participating in the UIC program showed higher employment effect than the non-participating companies. In addition, the result of examining the employment growth rate of participating companies only for projects aimed at 'education and human resource development', show that employment growth rate after one year (total, youth employment) was significantly higher than that of non-participating companies, while employment growth after two years was not significant. UIC program need to have sustainability and systemicity so that they can be directly linked to the employment effects.

Estimation of Employment Creation Center considering Spatial Autocorrelation: A Case of Changwon City (공간자기상관을 고려한 고용창출중심지 추정: 창원시 사례를 중심으로)

  • In the era of low growth, many provincial cities are experiencing population decline and aging. Population decline phenomena such as reduction of productive manpower, reduction of finances, deterioration of quality of life, and collapse of the community base are occurring in a chain and are being pushed to the brink of extinction of the cities. This study aims to propose a methodology to objectively estimate the employment creation centers and setting the basic unit of industrial-centered zoning by applying spatial statistical techniques and GIS for the application of the compact city plan as an efficient spatial management policy in a city with a declining population. In details, based on reviewing previous studies on compact city, 'employment complex index(ECI)' were defined considering the number of workers, the number of settlers, and the area of development land, the employment creation center was estimated by applying the 'Local Moran's I' and 'Getis-Ord's Hot-Spot Analysis'. As a case study, changes in the four years of 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019 were compared and analyzed for Changwon City. As a result, it was confirmed that the employment creation center is becoming compacted and polycentric, which is a significant result that reflects the actual situation well. This results provide the basic data for functional and institutional territorial governance for the regional revitalization platform, and provide meaningful information necessary for spatial policy decision-making, such as population reduction, regional gross domestic product, and public facility arrangement that can respond to energy savings, transportation plans, and medical and health plans.

International competitiveness of Korea's knowledge service industry (한국의 지식서비스산업의 국제경쟁력)

  • In this study, the economic ripple effect of knowledge service industry were compared and analyzed in four countries of USA, UK, Japan and Korea. The production induction coefficient is the largest in Japan, followed by the United Kingdom, the United States, and Korea. On the other hand, the employment inducement coefficient of the knowledge service industry was the highest in all countries except the UK. This implies that the proportion of employment is significantly increased compared to other industries as the role and importance of knowledge service industry increases in the economic and social structure on which knowledge is based.

해외직접투자(海外直接投資)의 효과(效果)에 관한 고찰(考察)

  • 해외투자로 인해 수출 및 고용이 감소할 것이라는 우려가 있다. 본고는 이론적, 통계적, 실증적 분석을 통하여 이에 관한 논의를 하고 향후 전망과 함께 정책적 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본고의 분석결과 및 투자제도 개선방향을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 해외투자가 아직까지 수출을 대체하였다는 근거는 없다. 향후 국내부품업체의 현지동반진출 확대, 해외자회사의 역할 증대, 국제분업생산체제의 진전 등 해외투자전략의 변화에 따라 해외투자가 수출을 대체할 가능성을 배제할 수 없으나 해외투자의 제한시에는 수출 및 고용에 더욱 악영향을 줄 수 있다. 해외투자를 제한하는 것은 예상되는 실업을 단지 연기시키는 것에 불과하며, 오히려 향후 실업문제가 훨씬 심각해질 수 있다. 해외투자는 기업의 경쟁력 유지 및 구조조정을 위해서는 타대안보다 고용안정에 기여할 수 있다. 또한 과도한 해외투자가 기업 및 국내경제에 미칠 악영향을 우려하여 해외투자를 규제하는 것도 설득력이 약하다. 정부가 해외투자의 과도성 여부를 판달할 능력이 기업보다 우월하다고 할 수 없다. 설령 해외투자 결정이 비합리적으로 이루어질 가능성이 있다 하더라도, 이 문제는 투자기업 및 여신은행 등의 책임을 분명히 하여 기업은 투자성과의 책임을 지고, 여신은행, 채권자 등은 투자기업의 재무현황 및 투자계획의 성공가능성을 고려하여 자금제공을 하도록 유도해야 한다. 따라서 일부 대규모 해외투자에 대한 사전심의로 대표되는 현행규제는 철폐되어야 한다. 일부 대규모 해외투자의 적정성 여부를 판단하기 위해 운용되고 있는 해외투자 심의는 실효성이 없을 뿐만 아니라 신속한 해외투자결정을 방해할 수 있다. 중장기적인 관점에서 해외투자로 인한 국제분업을 국내고용 및 수출의 증가뿐만 아니라 경제성장으로 연결시키기 위해서는 국내의 입지여건을 혁신활동 및 고부가가치 활동에 적합하도록 개선해 나갈 필요가 있다. 한편 단기적 고용감소에 대비한 정책도 필요한데, 고육훈련제도의 개선, 노동시장의 유연성 제고, 고용서비스 개선은 이런 마찰을 완화하는데 기여할 것이다.

Research on Factors that Influence Interorganizational Relations of Job Center Consultants (고용지원센터 상담직원의 조직연계 활동에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this dissertation is to positively analyze the characteristics of job center consultants' interorganizational relations and factors that influence this linkage in order to better understand the employment service of South Korea. The material utilized for analysis was collected by surveying consultants and managers of 38 job centers and 364 middle managers while applying the method of hierarchical regression. The following is the summary of the research results. First, there is a difference in the influence factor between the number of consultant's organization linkage and frequency of contact. As seen from this result, if the number of organizations a consultant links is affected by the organization's objective working conditions such as the organization structure, position, and primary responsibilities, then the frequency of contact which indicates intimacy by frequent contact depends on the professional ability of the person in charge rather than objective conditions. Second, the analysis result of influence factors according to the type of organization also displayed different influence factors based on the type. Public organizations and economics related organizations are existent in all areas in the form of municipal offices, public corporation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and labor organizations. Therefore, rather than the personal ability of the person in charge or the influence of other work environments, information of the organization and the actual activities of the head are more influential. On the other hand, private organizations embrace service organizations, employment target related organizations, corporations; they are differentially distributed, which is why they are more influential in organizational reform, decentralization, communication, and the professional ability of the person in charge is significantly influential.
