A Study on Crashworthiness of Rubber Tired AGT (고무차륜 경량전철의 충돌안전도 연구)

  • In the standard specifications for the urban EMU(Electric Multiple Unit) train, there are several items to ensure safety against accidents. The 21th -23th items have much relation with the crashworthiness of the urban EMU train. In this study, the rubber- tired AGT(Automated Guide-way Transit System) under development by KRRI is numerically evaluated in a crashworthy point of view by applying the above crashworthiness items. The numerical results show the detail design of the AGT satisfies the 22th and 23th items. But the design is recommended to adopt mechanical fuses to reduce the impact accelerations with respect to the 21th item.

  • 현재 철도 신호시스템 추세는 이동폐색 및 무인운전, 안전에 주안점을 두어 연구개발 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 철도환경에 적합하고 경제성이 고려된 무선에 의한 새로운 열차검지기법인 토대로 이동폐색을 구현 및 평가하기 위하여 적용한 방법에 대하여 기술하고자 한다. 시험선에서 1편성의 열차 조건으로 이동폐색을 검증하기 위하여 선두열차를 모형열차(Dummy Train)로 시스템을 구성하여 정적인 상태에서 평가를 통해 검증하였다.

  • Korea Railroad Research Institute(KRRI) has developed the rubber-tired AGT system from 1999 to 2004. The rubber-tired AGT vehicle is now on test for its performance and function in the Gyeong-San test line. Tn this paper, we provide the reliability management plan to assure required the RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability & safety) of the AGT vehicle system.

  • This paper proposes an experimental study on the traction system of rubber tired AGT (Automated Guideway Transit). IGBT VVVF inverter is developed for 1C2M propulsion system of AGT, and it consists of inverter stack, gate control unit, control unit, and interface unit. The combination test was carried out to prove the performance of inverter, and test results show that the developed inverter is excellent.

  • A number of variables and environment are concerned for the basic design of train. The design of train ran be optimized by the ruining simulation. And using the simulation result the consuming energy, regenerating power, adhesion coefficient, train traction control capacity are respectable. Considering these variables and for more information operating time, operating period, standard velocity and limit speed, the all factors of train are optimized. The light-tail tram is mainly divided into linear motor train, road surface train, iron wheel train and rubber tire train, and the most profitable one for adhesion coefficient is rubber tire train and the train will be designed.

  • 목하개최중인 오끼나와 국제해양전람회에서 처음으로 신도시교통 시스템이라고 하는 CVS(Computer Controlled Vehicle System)가 실용화되었다. 이 CVS는 동해양박람회장 2km의 전용궤도를 무인으로 콤퓨우터어에 의해서 운전하여 6명승의 전 16대가 연일 아무 트러블도없이 활약, 관계방면의 관심을 집중시키고 있다. 그런데 이 충승 해양박의 CVS에 채용된 차륜이 고무의 타이어란 점에 주목하기바란다. 고무의 타이어라고 하드라도 이 알맹이가 다르다. 어떻게 다른고하니 보통타이어의 알맹이는 공기이며 그 공기가 큰 역할을 하여주고 있는바이나 이 타이어의 경우는 공기의 대신에 포옴러버어(Form Rubber)가 차있다고 하는 점이다. 알맹이가 공기가 아니란 것은 타이어에 있어서 최대의 약점인 빵꾸라고 하는 고장이 없다는 것이다. 최근노우 빵꾸타이어라고 하는 안전타이어의 많은 시작품이 세계각타이어 메이커어로부터 발표되고 있으나 광의로 이「포옴충진타이어」도 그 1종이라고 할 수가 있을 것 같다. 물론 동종의 타이어는 일찍부터 각방면에서 시작연구는 되고 있었으나 용도가 너무나 한정되어 실용화가 충분하다곤 할 수가 없었다. 그러나 구빈고무가 만든 이 포옴 충진타이어는 훌륭하게 오끼나와 해양박에서 실용화된 것이다. 동사기술진의 설명에 의하면 알맹이는 물론이고 모든 면에 있어서 종래의 그것과는 일맥 상통한 것이라고 한다.

  • This paper proposes the track layout criterion for the LRT(light rail transit). All criterions established concerning dimension and performance of LRT vehicles with rubber wheel. Using theoretical approach, adaptation and validity of criterions are verified. Especially, it were modified according to change of vehicle performance that criterions proposed previous version Proposed criterions may provide a standard scheme for design and construction of the track layout on LRT.

  • The characteristic of “Korea LRT Carbody” is designed by using AED(All Extrusion Design) method. This is developed in Europe and be introduced in this paper minutely. The window type of “Korea LTR” has no supported frame, so the passengers ensure the outside view widely. The passenger's door will designed by plug type - This is the first time in Korea. In this report we have an object to the strength analysis for the carbody design. For the purpose of safety and lightening, we are going to research the section of thickness through optimization design.

  • The railway structure for a rubber-wheeled automated guide-way transit system consists of a driveway and a guide-way. The most important factor of this system is the driveway and the guide-way aligned with each other, especially for curves and inclines section. The conventional construction method caused many problems such as discordancy by constructing the driveway before constructing the guide-way. Therefore, in this paper we introduce a new method of constructing a railway for a rubber-wheeled light rail vehicle; the new method of constructing the guide-way beforehand as a preceding process. The new method for AGT railway system can simplify the construction process and thus the construction costs may be reduced. It should also improve the driving performance and the comfortability in operating of a light rail vehicle.
