계통연계형 3상 3레벨 태양광 인버터의 중성점 전압제어 (Neutral Point Voltage Control for Grid-Connected Three-Phase Three-Level Photovoltaic Inverter)

  • Three-level diode clamped multilevel inverter, generally known as neutral point clamped (NPC) inverter, has an inherent problem causing neutral point (NP) potential variation. Until now, the NP potential problem of variation has been investigated and lots of solutions have also been proposed. This paper presents a neutral point voltage control technology using the anti-windup PI controller and offset technology of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to control the variation of NPC 3-phase three-level inverter neutral point voltage. And the proposed algorithm is tested and verified using a PLL (Phase Locked Loop) in order to synchronize the phase voltage from the line voltage of grid. It significantly improves the voltage balancing under a solar fluctuation conditions of the inverter. Experimental results show the good performance and effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • 본 논문에서는 대체에너지 발전 시스템을 위한 새로운 자연전류형 SCR 인버터를 제안한다. 제안한 인버터 시스템은 6-펄스 SCR 인버터와 보조회로로 구성된다. 보조회로의 동작으로 인버터 시스템의 펄스 수가 증가하여 출력 전압 및 출력전류의 고조파가 현저히 저감된다. 제안한 방식의 24-펄스 동작을 위한 분석, 제어 및 시물레이션이 제시되고 실험을 통하여 제안한 이론을 입증한다.

  • A power limiting algorithm is proposed for stable operation of grid-connected inverter in case of grid voltage unbalance considering the operation limit of inverter. During the voltage unbalance the control performance of Inverter. is degraded and the output power contains 120Hz ripple due to the negative sequence of voltage. In this paper, conventional dual sequence current controller is implemented to solve these problems using separated control of positive and negative sequence. Especially the maximum power limit which guarantees the maximum rated current of the inverter is automatically calculated as the instant grid voltage changes. As soon as the voltage recovers the proposed algorithm can return to the normal power control mode accomplishing low voltage ride through. Proposed algorithm is verifed using PSCAD/EMTDC simulations and tested experimentally at 4.4kW wind turbine simulator set-up.

  • 본 논문에서는 송전선로에 직렬로 삽입되어 선로의 리액턴스를 동적으로 보상하는 인버터식 직렬보상기에 대한 동적 응동 해석을 기술하고 있다. 이 직렬보상기는 다중펄스로 동작하는 전압원인버터와 결합변압기, 그리고 제어장치로 구성되어 있으며, 점호각을 조절하여 선로의 리액턴스를 가변하고 용량성 뿐만 아니라 유도성 보상도 가능하다. 이 보상기로 선로의 리액턴스를 감소시키면 전송 유효전력의 증각가 가능한데, 이러한 효과를 본 논문에서는 단일기-무한대-버스 전력계통에 대해 EMTP를 이용한 시뮬레션으로 확인하였으며, 또한 축소모형 제작과 실험을 통해 실험적으로 확인하였다.

  • Maintaining the voltages is important in the power systems and the voltage is closely associated with the reactive powers. Therefore, the voltages are maintained by controlling the reactive powers. However actually it is impossible to control reactive power for maintaining all bus voltages. Thus, Secondary Voltage Regulation was designed. It divides power systems into some control areas and controls pilot node with the included generators. The reactive powers of generators can control pilot bus voltage continuously and fast. Therefore we need to divide areas and select control generators for SVR with Electrical distance. Then estimation of the reactive power reserves of geneators is needed in voltage control areas to control voltages of the pilot nodes.

전력계통의 지능형 전압제어시스템에 관한 연구 (A study on the Intelligent Voltage Control System)

  • As modern power systems become large and complicated, the automated voltage and reactive power control system is required in most developed countries due to the recent amazing progress of computer net works and information thechnology. So far the voltage control has been depend on human operator in korean power system. This paper presents an intelligent voltage control system based on sensitivity analysis and artificial intelligence technology. Detailed state space modeling technique is discussed and a new performance index is proposed to speed up the searching performance of the expert system. As the searching strategy is very important factor of the speed of expert system the least first search algorithm is applied using this performance index. The intelligent voltage control system is applied to the Jeju power system. As a result, case studies showed a promissing application of the intelligent voltage control system.

  • This paper proposes an voltage and reactive power control methodology, which is motivated towards implementation in the korea power system. The main voltage control devices are capacitor banks, reactor banks and LTC transformers. Effects of control devices are evaluated by local subsystem's cost computations. This local subsystem is decided by 'Tier' and 'Electrical distance' in the whole system. The control objective at present is to keep the voltage profile within constraints with minimum switching cost. A robust control strategy is proposed to make the control feasible and optimal for a set of power-flow cases that may occur important event from system. This studies conducted for IEEE 39-bus low and high voltage contingency cases indicate that the proposed control methodology is much more effective than PSS/E simulation tool in deciding switching of capacitor and reactor banks.

  • This paper reports the results of time-domain simulation for the KEPCO metropolitan system with a secondary voltage regulation (SVR) model, developed with TSAT user defined model blocks. The previously proposed model in the literature needs switching blocks for converting level signals generated by a regional voltage regulator (RVR) into settings of reactive generation. This paper modified the SVR model not to incorporate the switching blocks, so it is much easier to implement the modified model on the simulation tool.

  • In this paper, control algorithm for torque ripple compensation in DFIG wind power generation system is proposed. A simple PI controller is designed for the negative sequence voltage cancellation using negative sequence currents in the grid-side converter. As a result, the stator voltage contains only the positive sequence components and the torque pulsation of the generator is effectively compensated. Propose algorithm is confirmed with PSCAD simulation model.

  • 본 논문에서는 SiC를 이용한 신재생 에너지용 다중입력 PCS를 개발하였다. 제안하는 PCS는 풍력, 태양광, 배터리를 포함하는 다중입력 구조를 갖고 2단 방식으로 비절연 DC-DC 컨버터가 전압, 전류 및 양방향 제어를 하고 DC-AC 인버터가 단상 계통연계, 독립운전을 지원한다. 또한 SiC Mosfet을 사용하여 수동소자 크기를 최소화 하고 고효율 동작을 달성하였다. 제안하는 PCS의 동작모드를 제시하고 시작품을 통해 본 논문의 타당성을 검증하였다.
