In the post-Cold war world, the threat of terrorism is emerging as the most formidable challenge. The terrorist attacks including 9.11 World Trade Center attack have proved such challenge. It has become apparent that no country is safe from the scourage of terrorism. The region of the southeast Asia is no exception to this trend. The Bali bombing of 2002, killing about 200 innocent people, demonstrated that the threat environment had significantly altered. Today, local and regional groups such as Jemiah Islamiah can conduct terrorist operations as devastating as those carried out by Al Qaeda. As fighting terrorism is a complex multi-dimensional task, the responsibility for fighting terrorism must not rest with a single government. The burden must be shared by both the local governments and international communities. In addition, To prevent another bombing of the scale of Bali, countries in the region of southeast Asia must respond decisively. The purpose of this study is to examine the current situation on terrorism in the southeast Asia and to provide perspectives on future terrorism in this region. To foster the better understanding, historical survey on the terrorism in the region and local terrorist groups' network with the foreign terrorist organizations including Al Qaeda have been researched. Based on the result of the research, this paper provides a perspectives and evaluation on the future terrorism in the southeast Asia. It also provides an implications for our reference in the war against terrorism.

Recently, our company has entered the modern knowledge company, government policy and regulation has a big influence on people's lives. Also, unlike in the past, I am hoping for administrative intervention as a problem peculiar to the environment, such as environmental housing problems, urban transportation problems, misuse problems, etc. and corporate pending issues. In this study, through the 10th year of the Seoul Special Citizen Judicial Police Force, if the local autonomy is a special envoy, it will try to present the correctness in the organization luck. As a measure to secure the nature of administrative action, the method of investigation was through the study of the execution process of administrative penalty and its result based on the statistical data of Seoul City. Therefore, we will analyze the process and operation of the 10-year organizational change of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's police force and examine how the police force of the people's livelihoods, which is a special investigation organization, is expanding its duties in order to strengthen the enforcement power of the administration. Also, we will make future-oriented suggestions to encourage the readjustment of the current relevant laws, such as the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, and to actively accommodate the expected changes of the special law police organization in charge of the enforcement of the police system.

Development of IT technology as well as arrival of information-oriented society raise the curtain of 'the era of Ubiquitous Computing', implying accessing computers beyond boundary of time and space. In this era, it is expected that IT paradigms and life-styles would be transformed immensely above the experiences of 20th century. However, improvement of technology summons a new risk of cyber terrorism which have not been in the past. Thus, it is urgent to prepare for the threats in the national level. This paper point out five major threats relating to 'the security in the era of Ubiquitous Computing'. : First, spread of threats in connection with BcN establishment, second, vulnerable information-security for wireless communication, third, leakage of private information, fourth, cyber terror and deterioration of security, fifth, security problems of Korea including the drain of military information and solutions in the views of organization, personnel, technology and budget, comparing with other countries.

Until now, a lot of research on cyber security have been tried, but there have been few studies on overall relationships, including internal factors and external factors. Therefore, this study examined cyber security management considering not only internal elements of SMEs but also corporate management environment. The first qualitative analysis and the second quantitative analysis were conducted through mixed method research. Qualitative analysis was conducted through a semi-structured interview method, and three themes were found: insufficient cyber security management system, internal noncooperation for cyber security, and problems derived from decision-making system. In the quantitative analysis, multiple regression analysis was conducted on the data obtained through the questionnaire. The perception of cyber threats and internal support among independent variables positively influenced the cyber security management system or the dependent variable. Through this study, internal variables had a causal impact on the cyber security management system rather than external environment variables. This implies that the variables related to the organizational culture such as employees' perception are important. These results are expected to provide practical significance for enhancing the cyber security management system in SMEs.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of strategic human resource management on job stress and occupational commitment of security workers. A sample of 188 persons was extracted using the SPSS 18.0 program as a significant sampling method for the security worker. Frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted according to the purpose of the data, and the following conclusions were drawn. First, strategic human resource management has a significant effect on job stress. Second, strategic human resource management has a significant impact on occupation. Third, job stress had a significant effect on occupation commitment. That is, two factors of strategic human resource management and job stress play a decisive role in occupation commitment, and job stress plays an important role as a parameter. In conclusion, if we select the factors of strategic human resource management needed for each organization and develop new methods and competitiveness, it will be very helpful for qualitative growth of security industry.

This study aims to contribute to the early detection of occupational fraud in the Korean financial industry by analyzing fraud symptoms. Firstly, the definition, cause of occupational fraud, and fraud symptoms were discussed through literature review. Secondly, survey data were collected from the employees of the financial industry such as bank, insurance, and securities companies to conduct statistical analysis. The result of analysis showed that the symptoms of 'excessive stock investment' and 'unsettled life style' were statistically significant predictors of fraud detection experience. Plus, 'tips and complaints' were the most frequent method for detecting occupational fraud in the Korean financial industry. The financial institutions can minimize the loss of occupational fraud by early detection through educating their employees and vendors on these important symptoms of occupational fraud.

The development of North Korea's nuclear weapons has worsened to the sixth nuclear test in 2017, and despite the sanctions of the international community including our government, we have not been able to offer clear solutions and alternatives, and the current measures are not enough in case of North Korea is using nuclear weapons. This study suggests how we should be prepared against the use of nuclear weapons under the premise that North Korea will never give up development of nuclear weapons under any circumstances. The first chapter outlines the current status of our preparedness if North Korea makes a nuclear attack. The second chapter analyzes and evaluates the power of nuclear weapons and North Korea's nuclear weapons threat. In the third chapter, we analyze North Korea nuclear attack and analyze the wartime emergency situation and civil defense posture. Finally, in order to implement the solutions presented in the text, we will identify priorities and summarize further developments.

In the 21st century, the Information Revolution caused unpredictable kinds of complications. Human society conducts a tactical network war like Swarming. Network war simultaneously consists of merits such as global monitoring and anti-dictatorship campaign, and violent demerits like terrorism. It has been becoming a generalization of terrorism of the present time to build a brotherhood and ideology to commit terrorism. This is considered as new terrorism, a form of network war. Theses days, terror organizations including Al Qaeda establish a brotherly network to commit terrorism when and where they want. New terrorism is a novel form that harms unspecified individuals. In fact, many countries have been experiencing damage from new terrorism. It is becoming an urgent issue to every country to prepare a suitable plan that cope with new terrorism. This dissertation provides defense strategy in macro and micro aspect as a responding scheme to new terrorism.

Because financial industry is closely related to the daily lives of people, internal fraud such as embezzlement by the employees can cause serious damage to the national economy, including credit crunch and contagious bankruptcy, as once demonstrated in the Savings Bank Scandal in 2011. Therefore, the importance of financial industry security is being emphasized and developed into converged security that combines physical, human and cyber security. In this study, to prevent fraud caused by internal employees in Korean financial sector, in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with a total of 16 participants including bankers, officials of financial regulators, and security experts, who were in charge of risk management in the industry. The collected data were analyzed at three stratification levels such as individual, organization, and socio-cultural factor. Based on this analysis, policy recommendations were suggested for the development of financial industry security and reducing internal fraud in banking institutions.
