Therefore, it is possible to measure the pressure using facial expression and language analysis. The paper proposes a stress measurement system using facial expression and language sensitivity analysis. The method analyzes the person's facial expression and language sensibility to derive the stress index based on the main emotional value and derives the integrated stress index based on the consistency of facial expression and language. The quantification and generalization of stress measurement enables many researchers to evaluate the stress index objectively in general.

  • This paper studied the stress of Metropolitan Transit driving crews. Stress to such workers can not only lead to fatalities and infrastructure damage but also enormous loss of competitiveness. The study was carried out to search for ways of alleviating stress of driving crews. In order to reduce the various factors that exacerbate job stress of driving crews of Metropolitan Transit, it is first necessary to expand training in order to enhance their expertise, and improve facilities to protect driving crews in the event of accidents. Second, psychological compensation or organization's systems may cause job stress. It may therefore be possible to solve fundamental problems through typical organization level approach such as leadership training programs. Third, job stress may be reduced through proper life habits such as personal regular exercise. Fourth, we need to improve driving crews' working conditions and adjust working hours by avoiding excessive performance competition and an unfair evaluation system, by understanding their mental states, and by setting up systems such as a comprehensive health improvement and management program at the organization level.

  • Using information and communication technologies, many firms have increased their productivity. In resource based view, practical use of information and communication technologies is a process of increasing competitive advantage in uncertain environment. However, use of new information and communication technologies does not surely improve the productivity and work efficiency, but sometimes could be a factor to hinder firm performance. Technostress means adverse effect occurring in which the user of new information and communication technologies does not adapt to environment of new technologies. That is, Technostress is a negative impact resulted from using information and communication technologies. This study investigated the effect of technostress on counter-productivity. Unlike the previous studies, this study was made with the survey for firm employees of Daegu region, and both counter-productive work behavior and innovation resistance were used in this study. The empirical result means that technostress positively affects both counter-productive work behavior and innovation resistance. Because technostress increases both counter-productive work behavior and innovation resistance, systematic management for firm employees is needed in time adopting information and communication technologies.

  • For the conservation of both Sericinus montela (vulnerable species by red book of Korea) and A. contorta, we investigated environmental factors affecting the growth and reproduction of Aristolochia contorta. We selected four A. contorta habitats at Gapyeong, Pyeongtaek, Cheongju, and Yeoju in Korea and surveyed community and habitat characteristics of companion species, herbivore appearance, support types, and soil physicochemical properties in July and October, 2018. Habitat environments and the growth and reproduction characteristics of A. contorta were different according to four habitats of different regions. In particular, the fastest growth speed and earliest flowering and fruiting were observed in Pyeongtaek. Growth of A. contorta in Cheongju and Yeoju were interrupted by aboveground damage from human disturbance. In this study, support types seemed to be important for growth speed of A. contorta. Flowering and fruiting timing were likely to be related to combined effects of soil cation contents and competitive and herbivore stresses. Therefore, providing effective support and reducing biological stress should be necessary for stable growth and proper flowering and fruiting timing of A. contorta. In addition, experimental evidence would be needed to figure out the effect of soil cation and biological stress on flowering and fruiting of A. contorta in detail.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of strategic human resource management on job stress and occupational commitment of security workers. A sample of 188 persons was extracted using the SPSS 18.0 program as a significant sampling method for the security worker. Frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted according to the purpose of the data, and the following conclusions were drawn. First, strategic human resource management has a significant effect on job stress. Second, strategic human resource management has a significant impact on occupation. Third, job stress had a significant effect on occupation commitment. That is, two factors of strategic human resource management and job stress play a decisive role in occupation commitment, and job stress plays an important role as a parameter. In conclusion, if we select the factors of strategic human resource management needed for each organization and develop new methods and competitiveness, it will be very helpful for qualitative growth of security industry.
