Multipath Routing Method for QoS Support in WMSNs (WMSN에서 QoS 지원을 위한 다중 경로 라우팅 기법)

  • Aside from the issues like energy saving and maximizing network lifetime. WMSN has another issue to deal with: support of quality of service(QoS) which is required especially for handling real-time data such as object tracking and data gathering. This paper proposes a multipath routing algorithm considering the distance to sink node, energy level and link quality of neighbour nodes. Proposed algorithm supports multipath routing path with high quality links. Hence it helps to reduce a power consumption concentration that happens in particular set of nodes along the frequently selected route. It also specifies a service quality pattern and a service quality level depending on traffic pattern. By doing this, the proposed algorithm can realize a differentiated service with QoS guaranteed data transmission.

  • For a integrated system to control several parking lots within a commercial district, it is required to guide a route to a nearest neighbor parking lot considering diverse realtime constraints such as realtime status of parking lots and changes of an access route. This paper proposes an optimized route-searching technique of integrated parking control system considering realtime contraints. In concrete, it proposes a method of researching a route in the surrounding area considering various status of parking lots that a customer designates (no parking, closed, under construction, no passing of a road) and deals with a route-searching technique optimized for each situation in detail.

  • 이 논문은 질의와 검색 대상 객체가 모두 이동 객체인 경우, 즉 3 차원 폴리라인(polyline) 형태의 경로를 가지는 객체들 간의 연속(continuous) 최근접 질의 처리에 유용한 기법을 제안한다. 질의경로를 따라 객체를 탐색해가면서 질의에 대한 최근접 정보가 변하는 시점을 찾는 것이 목적인 연속 최근접 질의 처리는 전체 질의 경로에 올바른 최근접 정보 리스트를 제공하지만, 기존의 방법들은 검색 대상 객체가 동적인 경우에 적용되기에는 시간에 따라 움직이는 객체의 위치변화를 처리하지 못하고, 질의 시점과 대상 객체간의 시점을 연관시키기 어렵다는 문제점들을 가지고 있다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 데이터 객체들의 궤적 정보는 STR 트리로 유지하고, 질의 경로 세그먼트와 질의의 시간 인터벌에 포함되는 데이터 객체 세그먼트 모두에 대해 추출시간(sampling time) 선택, 스윕라인(sweep line) 적용, 위치 추정 함수 이용 등의 단계를 처리함으로써, 이 문제를 해결하고 질의 경로 전체에 정확한 최근접 객체 정보 리스트를 제공한다. 제안된 기법은 물류정보시스템, 국방정보시스템, 기상, 교통 등 시공간 이동 객체의 질의를 다루는 시스템에 적용할 수 있다.

Sensor Based Path Planning and Obstacle Avoidance Using Predictive Local Target and Distributed Fuzzy Control in Unknown Environments (예측 지역 목표와 분산 퍼지 제어를 이용한 미지 환경에서의 센서 기반 경로 계획 및 장애물 회피)

  • For the autonomous movement, the optimal path planning connecting between current and target positions is essential, and the optimal path of mobile robot means obstacle-free and the shortest length path to a target position. Many actual mobile robots should move without any information of surrounded obstacles. Thus, this paper suggests new methods of path planning and obstacle avoidment, suitable in unknown environments. This method of path planning always tracks the local target expected as the optimal one, and the result of continuous tracking becomes the first generated moving path. This path, however, do not regard the collision with obstacles. Thus, this paper suggests a new method of obstacle avoidance resembled with the Potential Field method. Finally, a simulation confirms the performance and correctness of the path planning and obstacle avoidance, suggested in this paper.

Dynamic Critical Path Selection Algorithm (DYSAC) for VLSI Logic Circuits (VLSI 논리회로의 동적 임계경로 선택 알고리듬 (DYSAC))

  • This paper is to propose an algorithm named as DYSAC to find the critical path(the longest sensitizable path) in a large digital circuit, whose purpose is to reduce the time to find critical path and to find critical paths of the circuits for which the previous methods could not find one. Also a set of path sensitization criteria named as DYPSEC is proposed, which is used to select a path from input to the output inside the DYSAC. The DYSAC consists of two sub-algorithms; the level assignment algorithm to assign a level to each node and the critical path selection algorithm to select the sensitizable path. The proposed algorithm was implemented with C-language on SUN Sparc and applied to the ISCAS'85 benchmark circuits to make sure if it works correctly and finds the correct critical path. Also, the results from the experiments were compared to the results from the previous works. The comparison items were the ability to find the critical path and the speed, in both of which the proposed algorithm in this paper shows better results than others.

  • When constructing a synthetic seismogram in the earthquake study or in seismic data interpretation by using a ray-tracing technique, the most troublesome and error-prone task is to define a suite of ray codes for the corresponding rays to trace in advance. An infinite number of rays exist for any arbitrarily located source and receiver in a medium. Missing certain important rays or an inappropriate selection of ray codes in tracing rays may result in wrong interpretation of the earthquake record or seismogram. Automatic ray code generation could be able to eliminate those problems. In this study we have developed an efficient algorithm with which one can generate systematically all the ray codes for the source(s) and receiver(s) arbitrarily located in a model. The result of this work could be used not only in analysing multiples in seismic data processing and interpretation, but also in coda wave study, study on the amplification effects in a basin and phase identification of the waves multiply reflected/refracted in earthquake study.

The Optimization path searching Method Development for Destination (목적지를 고려한 최적 경로탐색 기법 개발)

  • In this paper, we propose the new technique to compute the optimal route by considering the direction of distribution vehicles and the location for delivery, developing the algorithm of the shortest route to approach the location as applying the gemetic algorithm. This approach makes it possible for us to find the best route even under itineraries which include many destinations. Lively studies are currently in progress on the development of vehicle navigation software, combining PDA GPS, and electronic maps. Many web-sites are providing a varier of services which use electronic maps. Popular among these services is one that computes the optimal route between two positions that a user inputs. This service of computing the optimal route plays an important role in distribution industries such as home-delivery. For the distribution system. the construction of a vehicle regulation system enables us to calculate and manipulate the optimal route for distribution vehicles, to enhance the efficiency in making use of vehicles and labor, and to reduce costs.

  • This research deals with generating via points for autonomous navigation on a roadway for unmanned vehicles. When a vehicle plans a path from a starting point to a goal point, it should be able to map out which lane on which road it passes by. For this purpose, we should organize positional information of roads and save it as a database. This paper presents methods to save the database and to plan a shortest path to the goal by generating via points in consideration of the moving direction and the lane directions. Then we prove that the proposed algorithm can find the optimal path on the road through simulations.

  • Recently, we are using wireless system based on ZigBee technology. It solves a complicated space and frequency movement. Then, we had studied it for improved performance. So, we are must concerned about routing protocol for improvement of a weak point of physical feature. But many researchers are not focusiong on developing Routing Protocol. In this paper, we proposed improved routing protocol using AODV for wireless system based on ZigBee technology. And it is analyzed the simulation result which compare with original and improved AODV protocol based on ZigBee network.

  • 수중운동체가 수중에서 진행할 때 외부 파도에 의한 불확실한 부하 저항을 받으므로 이에 대응하는 핀(조타) 구동부의 제어 문제를 고려한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 제어기는 본체로부터의 지정 각도를 부여 받으면 이에 부응하여 핀의 각도와 각속도를 이용하여 제어기의 알고리즘을 구축하여 지정된 경로를 추적하게 한다. 또한 핀의 각속도 정보의 이용이 부득이 어려운 상황에 대처하기 위하여 핀의 각도만을 이용한 출력제어기나 추정기를 설계하여 주위 환경의 불확실성을 극복할 수 있는 제어기를 제안한다. DC서보 모터로 구성괸 핀 구동부에 대해 실제 데이터를 사용하여 제안된 제어기의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증한다.
