Objectives : The purpose of this study is to review the principal of Sacred tortoise method (Younggupalbub) and to investigate the usefulness of it. Methods : The authors reviewed several literatures related with the Sacred tortoise method (Younggupalbub). We investigated the clinical usefulness as well found some problems in utilizing it. Results and Conclusions : Sacred tortoise method (Younggupalbub) is an acupuncture treatment used according to the time and it may cause many problems for the patients and oriental medical doctors in the clinical use.

광섬유와 평면 도파로를 결합한 도파로 구조에서 광 결합 현상은 다양한 응용 가능성 때문에 이론적으로 또는 실험적으로 많은 연구가 되어오고 있다. 광섬유는 단일모드를 이용하고 적당한 곡률이 주어진 블록에 고정한 후 연마하여 클래딩의 일부를 제거하고, 그 상부에 다중모드 평면 도파로(Multi-Mode Overlay Waveguide; MMOW)를 구성한다. 제작된 결합기 구조에서 평면 도파로는 광섬유의 감쇠장 결합(Evanescent field coupling)을 유도하게 되므로, 소자의 특성은 평면 도파로의 구조와 조건에 의해 결정된다. Objectives : This study is designed to evaluate the effect of Hyun-Ga therapy for the scoliosis patient with Lumbago. Methods : After treatment with Hyun-Ga therapy compared with Cobb's angle and Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Results : After six treatments with Hyun-Ga therapy in one case, significant decrease in Cobb's angle and Visual Analog Scale (VAS) was observed. Conclusions : Hyun-Ga therapy might be effective for the scoliosis patient with Lumbago. It will be attempted to more patients in the future.

본 내용은 농협서울축산물공판장 소재 축산물등급판정소 서울지소 등급판정사로 근무하면서 느낀 점, 있었던 일을 토대로 양축농가에게 사양관리 및 농가수익 증대에 도움 되었으면 하여 정리해 보았다. 대부분의 양축농가들은 출하되는 소.돼지에 대하여 굳은 믿음을 가지고 있다. "내가 키운 소.돼지는 가장 우수한 등급판정을 받을 것이고ㅓ, 이에 따라 경락가격도 가장 높이 받을 것이다"라고 기대들을 한다. 그러나 가끔은 예상과 기대에 못 미치는 일이 발생되기도 한다. 이에 등급판정제도에 대한 이해도 증진을 통하여 농가의 경영과 축산업 발전에 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 한다.

본 연구는 Haplotype 데이터에서 나타나는 별개의 Haplotype의 수를 최소화하는 블록으로 분할하는 방법을 제안한다. Multi-population case인 Haplotype 데이터를 분석하기 위해 패턴의 개수를 최소한으로 줄이는 볼록 분할 방법은 전산학적인 최적해의 의미를 가지게 되며, 이와 더불어 생물학적인 의미를 가지는 블록 경계를 찾기 위해 ｜D'｜ 을 계산하고 LD를 분석하였다 분석된 LD는 블록 분할 알고리즘에서 블록 결정 함수로 사용하였으며, 이에 대한 검정은 X$^2$-test를 통해 이루어졌다. 많은 Sample로 구성된 Haplotype 데이터로부터 평균 패턴의 개수를 최소화하고 긴 블록 길이를 가지는 블록 분할의 결과를 얻었다.

The meridians are energy pathways found in the interior organs of the body leading the bio-electrical energy the periphery of the body for its energetic supply and the meridians connect the individual acupuncture points. The acupucture points in turn serve for the interference with the bio-electric energy, thus made it measurable. It has been developed to a stage where one could stimulate the acupuncture-points in order to achieve organ effects in the body. To the contrast, Dr.Niboyet proved that the human skin contains points varing in their electrical roperties as to their surroundings. He also tried to send direct current through the skin taken from the body and derive it at other places of the skin characterized by the above mentioned meridians and acupuncture points. The body produces a potential in the organs to reach the acupuncture point via the meridians. The charge on the individual acupuncture point caused by the exactly difinable current of our mesurement device, creates a state of blance between the irritational potential, both of whcih are which are opposite to each other. The body processes the irritational current in the acupuncture point. Voll and Werner, as early as 1953, developed an instruments for applying electro-acupuncture on the skin without needle picks and the teaching from part of modern medicine after developing over recent years. Electro-acupucture is a comprechensive fterm for all procedures based on mesurements or thrapy derived from Oriental acupuncture, using modern electronics. As a result, I found the phenomena of the meridian during the disease. And It seems to be closely related between the meriduan and the disease. I think it must be researched profoundly and for the long time.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of meridian massage on menopausal symptoms and Shin-Hur in middle-aged menopausal women. Method: The research design was a nonequivalent control group pre-post experimental design. The subjects of the study were middle-aged women who had had no menstruation in the last 12 months after the last menstrual bleeding. Cards of invitation on bulletin boards of several apartments were placed to recruit the subjects. The cards of invitation included: purpose of the study, eligibility criteria, method and period. Eighteen women in the experimental group and 16 women in the control group were conveniently assigned, respectively. The experimental group received 20 min meridian massage 3 times per week for 4 weeks. The menopausal symptoms and Shin-hur were measured and compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed with the SPSS program by Fisher's exact test, Wilcoxon Sign Rank test, Mann Whitney U-test and Spearman's rank correlation. Result: The experimental group showed a significant decrease of menopausal symptoms (U=77.00, p=.020) and Shin-Hur (U=76.00, p=.017). There was a significantly positive correlation between menopausal symptoms and Shin-Hur (r=.497, p=.003). Conclusion: Meridian massage was effective in improving menopausal symptoms and Shin-Hur in middle-aged menopausal women. Thus it can be useful as a nursing intervention for menopausal women.

The researchers and planners are using patent/paper map system to analyze the research trend, but we can't use the existing analysis system because of the specialty of korean traditional medicine. Thus we deduced the analysis models from preceding research and system and designed 14 analysis models which are composed of basic, detail and complex models. We verified the analysis models using papers which has 'meridian' keyword among 16,000 papers stored in OASIS. From the analysis result, we know that the meridian study has just entered in the maturity and is closely related with other parts of korean traditional medicine as physiology etc. And we verified the proposed analysis model from the comparison with the analysis models of preceding systems. The analysis model will be used for the development of Korean traditional medicine paper map analysis service scenario and system.
