  • Compared to the past, the number of disabled people in Korea is continuing to increase. As for the scope of the disability, it is expanding as well since it now includes all types of illnesses, car accidents, complications resulting from aging, industrial accidents and others accidents. Attempts are made in terms of applying sports game method that grafts IT technology in order to ensure that the disabled people participate continually in sports. While casting away the notion of play which was the role of a game in the past, new roles and domains were developed. In fact, serious game genre is what leads this change. Because serious game is leading the game industry fast, centered on education, sports, fitness and medical use, its market value can be considered very significant since it can be both fund and effective as it targets the disabled who cannot enjoy sports easily in reality. Accordingly, this research seeks to present the direction for the application of serious game for the disabled people by analyzing the current situation pertaining to the integrated and converged cases applied to the field of sports for the disabled when it comes to the serious game that uses contents based on the IT technology.

  • Recently $Pok\acute{e}mon$ GO implements an online game with location-based real time augmented reality on mobile. The correct play of this game should be based on collecting the $Pok\acute{e}mon$ that appears as the user moves around by foot, but as the popularity increases, it appears an abuse to play easily. Many people have used an application that provides a mock location service such as Fake GPS, and these applications can be judged to be cheating in online games because they can play games in the house without moving. Detection of such cheating from a client point of view (mobile device) can consume a large amount of resources, which can reduce the speed of the game. It is difficult for developers to apply detection methods that negatively affect game usage and user's satisfaction. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to detect users abusing mock location service in online game by route analysis using GPS location record from the server point of view.

  • In our society, the current smart devices have been commercialized and more time than most people are in contact with smart devices than the time in contact with the PC, it shows the same trend in terms of the game industry. Thus in the study, it was to try to make a game by utilizing the characteristics of only the smart devices in mobile environments among them by using the gyro sensor implementing the movements of characters. In particular, undergraduate student made various attempts to implement a single game using the sensor used in smart devices. In this paper, we have planned the adventure 3D running game that allows users to easily fun to play. Our goal is to implement one stage. We have discussed that you have designed and implemented.

  • Reinforcement learning, in which artificial intelligence develops itself to find the best solution to problems, is a technology that is highly valuable in many fields. In particular, the game field has the advantage of providing a virtual environment for problem-solving to reinforcement learning artificial intelligence, and reinforcement learning agents solve problems about their environment by identifying information about their situation and environment using observations. In this experiment, the instant dungeon environment of the RPG game was simplified and produced and various observation variables related to the field of view were set to the agent. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to figure out how much each set variable affects the learning speed, and these results can be referred to in the study of game RPG reinforcement learning.

  • This study is to verify the effectiveness of initial planning verification using paper prototyping while methodologies are being developed to verify the direction of game planning in a short time at low cost since it is having a hard time to verify the direction and fun of the game by taking a lot of capital and time in the initial planning process as the game development becomes larger. It conducted paper prototyping production for about 40 students who are learning game planning for a semester, and trained them on how to motivate using core mechanical diagrams, scrums, and basic psychological needs that can effectively materialize the ideas of their early game planning. Through this curriculum, board games were completed with eleven paper prototyping, and it was confirmed that students who participated in the class were meaningful in verifying fun and securing gameability through cross-play.

  • This study meta-analyzed the effect of 32 research papers on children in academic journals published with domestic degrees and gameplay Therapy programs (2004-2017). As a result, the total effect size was 0.971, a large effect size. The impact scale by variable factor of disabled children, ages 3 to 5 years by age, and the impact scale of psychological variables by dependent variable were reported, with 11 to 15 sessions per process, total number of sessions 16 times or more, session count per week, and session count 61 to 90 minutes. The biggest research is meaningful in that it is the first comprehensive and objective analysis of gameplay Therapy programs and is expected to be used as basic data in treatment design when performing gameplay Therapy programs on clinical sites.

  • The purpose of this paper is to express intangible cultural heritage through game character designs, and to inherit and spread intangible cultural heritage in a new way. This paper will analyze how the characters in the mobile game "King of Glory" creatively design the intangible cultural heritage "Guangdong Lion Dance". Extract the cultural symbols of intangible cultural heritage into the game character design, and spread the characters online and offline. Through the digital dissemination of "Guangdong Lion Dance" through the game "King of Glory", the relevant influence of intangible cultural heritage cultural symbol dissemination in current digital games is explored.

  • A motion-based sports game uses a motion sensor or a camera to exercise based on body movements, and it is possible to obtain exercise effects such as improving physical strength while enjoying the game. In prior works, various studies such as usability evaluation has been conducted on motion-based sports games. However, there has been no discussion about how the exercise effect is exerted on users when experiencing motion-based sports games as individual or team play. This study compared the user's exercise effects by analyzing the user's ECG (Electrocardiogram) sensor and the Kinect sensor's skeletal information using Nintendo Switch game that is played individually and as a team. In this paper, the experimental design and method, the quantitative measurement results based on ECG and Kinect, and the results of the post-test subjective measurement are discussed.

  • The purpose of this research is to find the specific structure with factors that affect online game users' positive word of mouth(WOM) for online game companies to maintain existing and new users. In previous studies the influence of characteristics of online games and attributes of users on intention to play online games is mainly focused on. However online games are products with communication on network, so that critical mass through diffusion as well as the use of product by individual consumers is important issues. Therefore, it is necessary to consider network externality effect that the more value can be obtained by more game users. The authors verified that the influence of the variables like social mass and critical mass, affecting consumers' attitude and WOM. According to the research results, social norm and critical mass have significant influence on positive attitude and WOM intention for online games. Another results verified that social norm and users' attitude affect positive WOM intention directly. These results suggest managerial implication regarding social norm and critical mass to online game companies that desire for WOM to get more online game users.

  • The aim of this study is to identify whether the domestic violence experience of children has an impact on their game addition and to verify the direct effects and moderating effects of social support. The survey was conducted to the children who were 5th and 6th graders in Gwangju and Jeonnam. The responses from 328 subjects of domestic violence experience from were analyzed. The analytic results are as the following. When verifying the impact of a domestic violence experience of children on their game addiction, domestict violence was found as the key variable that has a negative impact on children's game addiction. The results indicated that children with higher levels of domestict violence more likely to have higher levels of game addiction. Furthermore, boy's addiction degree to game was higher than girls' and lower education levels of mother, higher grades were found to be associated with higher game addiction. The impact of children's social support on their game addiction was analyzed. The analytic results suggest that social support has a impact on their game addiction. In other words, higher social support means lower game addiction. The moderating effect of social support was analyzed. Social support check the moderating effect of domestic violence of children on their game addiction. The Implications of these findings were discussed.
