  • VR(Virtual Reality), which has drawn attention as a major area in ICT, is currently being used in various fields, including medical care, movies and architecture. Although VR technology is used in various fields, contents are mainly developed by creators where needs of users are easily left out of consideration leading to failure in forming a consensus between UI(User Interface) and UX(user experience). To identify the consumer preference and attribute level of VR game content, which is responsible for the largest proportion of VR contents, this study was designed to examine the consumers' preference properties of VR game contents through a Conjoint Analysis and derive the relative importance and weightings of each group. The study collected 166 questionnaires over a total of three months from May to July 2019, 150 of which were completed (90.4%). Statistic analysis was conducted using SPSS Ver. 25.0. The results of the study showed that the genre of the game (42.6%), number of players (24.0%), price for payment (20.3%) and game planning (13.1%) were important attributes in choosing VR games. The optimal mix of attributes was derived with new games, RPGs, multi-play and medium price (22,000 KRW). Before mentioning technology in the expectations of users who use VR game content, which is the most preferred among VR contents, this study recognized the need to have a fun and new experience through VR game content. Therefore, it is expected that this will serve as a reference for consumer behavior of VR game contents and research on VR game contents development.

  • The educational computer game service, due to its entertainment role, is a very attractive tool for students to raise their interests in learning. Especially mathematics, the most difficult subject for many students, is one of the typical subjects in which the educational computer game service can be efficiently applied. Most of the previous game services is for single or two learners. And learner only have to simply submit a solution for the proposed math expression in the game. In this paper a multi-player game service based on TCP/IP socket programming technique is designed and implemented to join in the game for multiple learners. In addition, we design a game rule to improve learners' number sense by letting them arrange various ways to solve the problem. Finally, using the requirements of educational game service, we evaluate the proposed game service and its usability.

  • With the rapid development of information technologies, various types of game devices have been created. Moreover, the game contents are once created, they can be easily reused on several other devies without depending on their platform or media, which phenomena is so called as one source multi use (OSMU). Especially young gamers are good at not only playing the famous computer games but also good at using and utilizing the brand new and the latest mobile devices, they might be the major consumers in the area of mobile games in the near future. This paper discusses and proposes several points to be considered when a conventional computer game to be transformed into a mobile game. Since the points suggested are very useful when the conventional game is to be ported to the mobile devices of inferior performance, it is expected that more profits could be achieved in the market of mobile game with less investment and effort.

  • This paper uses counterexamples for solving reachability games. An objective. of the game we consider here is to find out a minimal path from an initial state to the goal state. We represent initial states and game rules as finite state model and the goal state as temporal logic formula. Then, model checking is used to determine whether the model satisfies the formula. In case the model does not satisfy the formula, model checking generates a counterexample that shows how to reach the goal state from an initial state. In this way, we solve many of small-sized Push Push games. However, we cannot handle larger-sized games due to the state explosion problem. To mitigate the problem, abstraction is used to reduce the state space to be che cked. As a result, unsolved games are solved with the abstraction technique we propose inthis paper.

  • Games of the AOS genre are classified as an e-sport rather than a recreational computer game. The involved statistical analyses such as game playing patterns and the season's characters gain importance due to the expertise-requiring nature of sports. In this study, the strategic analysis of computer games was conducted by using data mining techniques on League of Legend, a representative AOS game. We designed and tested a winning forecast model using winning percentage prediction techniques such as logistic regression analysis, discriminant analysis, and artificial neural networks. The game data analysis results were represented by a probabilistic graph and used in the visualization tool for game play. Experimental results of the winning forecast model showed a high classification rate of 95% on average with potential for use in establishing various strategies for game play with the visualization tool.

  • Recently, to make game gotten out of negative perception of game addiction and gradually established as an immersion-centric and ositive and new game culture of the digital era from a culture perspective, the necessity of development of game composed of various materials has been emerging. In other words, the important part to make the environment of game industry which is growing into a higher value-added business expanded in a short space of time as the base culture together with the public in cultural aspects is the development of game material which enables more various objects to approach besides the development of material focused on profit. Above all things, it is the easily accessible material through fusion sith the diverse contents by using elements of interaction, function, system which game itself has. In this connection, this study suggested design approach process ti fuse the material of positive function into game and also proposed the development case ay each level.

So the online game company has been trying to search games able to success and they are performing diversified researching to prepare the judgment ground of success from initial stage of development. The aim of this study is to find success factors which is in the process from development to distribute for the online game through collecting opinions of specialist and taking survey to people employed in online game development field. Consequently, we indicate success factors using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and make out success factors for the online games. Furthermore, we suggest the way which is able to apply factors objectified so that exceed the limit of using it to the company planning to develop successful games objectively.

  • Gameplay exists not only in game activities, but also in other art forms. An animated film with strong gameplay whose gameplay narrative follows the presupposition principle, achieved through unimaginable sound effects, exaggerated visual styling, hypothetical time and space concepts, fictional storylines and character performances. The strength or the presence or absence of gameplay in animated films is reflected in the grasp and use of these gameplay elements in the process of animated film narratives. The gameplay narrative of animated films fully utilizes the characteristics of gameplay thinking. In the process of scriptwriting and narrative, it combines entertainment, action, adventure, competition and other elements to fully reflect the characteristics of "gameplay". Gameplay narratives often use the strategies of reverse setting, repetition and interaction, and rules and challenges setting, which not only enhances the fun of animated film narratives, but also attracts the attention of the audience, which then can enhance the audience's viewing experience.
