Study on the Method to Create a Pedestrian Path Using Space Decomposition based on Quadtree (쿼드트리 기반의 공간분할 기법을 활용한 경로 생성 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the target of navigation system is moving from the cars to pedestrians. Many researches are in progress regarding pedestrian navigation, However, in most cases, the path-finding is based on the existing node/link network model. which is widely used for the car navigation, and thus showing its limitation. The reasons arc that a) unlike with a car, the paths that pedestrians take arc not limited to the roads, b) pedestrians an~ not restricted in rotation or direction, and c) they can freely move within the walkable space. No alternatives have been offered yet, especially for openspaces such as a park or square. Therefore, in this research, we suggested appropriate methods to create paths that can be used in pedestrian navigation service, by using motion-planning technology, which is used in the field of robotics for planning the motion of an object, and conducted tests for their applicability.

Evaluating the Alternative Options for Redevelopment of Airport Idle Facilities (공항 유휴시설의 활용방안에 대한 평가)

  • Over the last few years, the major airports in Asia have been operating at or close to their capacity. As a result, Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia decided to expedite the development of new airports. Accordingly, some of the existing airports have been completely used as other functions or purposes and the others operated as a domestic airport. In the latter case, re-development plans are needed for idle facilities. This paper evaluates the alternative options for re-development of idle airport facilities of Seoul Gimpo International Airport. The proposed methodology makes it possible to provide a practical and applicable evaluation of airport re-development plan. In particular, it can take into account the qualitative aspects of different interesting groups such as airport experts. passengers and airport peripheral community. The interview was conducted in order to obtain the different groups' view. To evaluate and select the best option of the airport re-development, this study adopted a fuzzy linguistic approach.

  • VIRTUAL REALITY is a technology that enables users to experience environments that are difficult to experience, such as games, medical care, defense, and manufacturing industries. In this study, we propose the development of contents that can utilize the virtual reality technology to taste the destinations to travel in advance and to select the places to travel. Generally, when you decide on a destination, use the website or booklet to search for information about the destination. In recent years, applications that recommend travel destinations have also been developed and utilized. However, if information about travel destinations is implemented as a virtual reality, it will be possible to obtain more reliable and realistic information. Like Google Maps VR, you can show the globe as a whole, zoom in or out, and click on a keyword to recommend a tourist destination that matches the keyword. It uses internet browsing cookies to automatically display tourist attractions according to user's interest.

  • This paper proposed CHELS-App that Smart-phone APP optimized cultural heritage experiential learning is configured can learning and sightseeing at the same time with experience the cultural heritage and enjoying the mission through quests to take advantage of the Smart-phone. CHELS-App is provide a guide maps by using the location-based service and cultural commentary(commentary, photos, quizzes, games, cartoon) with capability of event push about the Jongmyo Shrine as world heritage, and configured with capability of experience diary create and foot stamp through these experiences.

  • Today, It has developed actively e-learning according to web without time and place which increase of PC user with super-highway information network and various up-to-date information rapid growth. It has to provide the chance to student which will be able to practice and to think free and originative under liberal learning environment that learner can compose knowledge through various thinking by themselves. From the present paper, I would design e-learning system using TGT model of cooperative e-learning system that more effective studying through advantage of e-learning studying. I look forward to helping improvement of student's real ability as embody competitive games method by TGT model's basic theory of web-based.

  • 개인이 실시간 방송을 할 수 있는 개인방송은 게임, 스포츠, 교육을 비롯하여 시대의 흐름을 고려한 요리, 다이어트 등과 같은 광범위한 미디어 콘텐츠를 생산하고 있다. 최근에는 실감형 콘텐츠를 위해 360도 카메라와 이를 마우스, 터치스크린, 자이로센서를 이용하여 제어하는 방식들이 소개되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 기술들을 활용해 더 많은 콘텐츠를 생산하기 위해서는 기술을 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 제작자의 편리성을 고려한 기술 서비스의 제공이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 실감 콘텐츠 제작 편리성을 위한 개인방송용 NUI 기술 서비스에 대해 논하고자 한다. 콘텐츠의 다양성과 빠르게 변화하는 IoT 기기 확장성을 고려하여 이와 연동 가능한 제스처 인식, 음성 인식 등과 같은 비 접촉식 NUI 서비스 기술과 이를 활용해 방송 제공자가 편리하게 다양한 콘텐츠를 제공할 수 있는 서비스 개념도를 제안하고, 관련 API 설계에 대해 보인다. 본 연구를 통해 개인방송을 접하는 사람들의 편의성, 흥미를 만족시켜 다채로운 서비스를 제공할 수 있고 나아가 편리성을 고려한 NUI 서비스 가이드라인을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 시선추적 인터페이스는 다른 감각기관에 비해 빠른 반응속도를 보이므로 효과적인 인터랙션 수단으로 활용가능하며, 이를 통해 사용자 경험을 향상시킬 수 있다. 따라서 시선추적 기술은 장애인 안구마우스, 운전자 시선정보 분석, 광고 효과 모니터링, 차세대 게임 등 다양한 분야에 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 시선추적 인터페이스의 정확도를 향상시키기 위한 기술을 소개한다. 실제 사용자를 대상으로 시선추적을 수행할 때 눈꺼풀로 인한 동공 가림 현상이 자주 발생하며, 각막반사광으로 인한 동공 경계 왜곡 현상이 발생하기도 한다. 이로 인해 동공 중심이 왜곡되어 시선위치에 오류가 발생한다. 이와 같은 문제점을 개선하기 위해 눈꺼풀 및 각막반사광으로 인한 왜곡 현상을 보정하여 동공 중심을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • As time spent in front of the computer screens increases, an increasing number of people are using natural landscapes or virtual aquariums as their desktop and screen saver that can provide them with mental comfort. A virtual aquarium is constructed by an animation work that creates a variety of fish that freely move in a random virtual underwater environment to analyze their movement. This paper suggests a method that constructs an immersive virtual aquarium, using fluid animation method that expresses changes of shape of fluid in real time and the Smart Fish technology which is capable of an interaction according to the diverse characteristics of virtual fish. The suggested method can be used in a virtual aquarium, aquarium screen saver, virtual fish-raising game, etc., which express diverse undersea environment.

  • The rapid development of 3D computer graphics makes traditional cell-animations expressed by several digital techniques and makes traditional cell-animations expand their own area through several continuous tries. There are two types in rendering method. The one is Photorealistic rendering to realize accurate images like photos and the other is Non-photorealistic rendering to realize human's flair and artistry. This paper examines applications of cartoon rendering techniques among several Non-photorealistic rendering techniques. This paper analyzes production cases and examines features of cartoon rendering techniques in the latest movies, games and advertisements of image contents. And this paper will be able to help making more sensual, familiar and in-depth products, as understanding applications, merits and demerits of the latest cartoon rendering techniques through these investigations.
