FLIGHT SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT FOR HAUSAT-2 ON-BOARD COMPUTER (HAUSAT-2 비행소프트웨어 개발)

  • HAUSAT-2 flight software was developed by first analyzing the satellite requirements, and incorporating the results into the software. Coding and compiling is done after the software is completed, then individual and integrated tests are performed in order to verify the flight software algorithm. Currently, HAUSAT-2 flight software integrated test has been performed and the test result is serving as a basis for code modification nd additional developments. This paper describes the architecture, development process, and development environment of HAUSAT-2 flight software.

  • 본 논문에서는 PKI에서 사용자 인증을 위해 발급되는 전자 인증서 검증을 위해 IETF에서 표준화 작업 중인 SCVP(Simple Certificate Validation Protocol) 구현 및 테스트 결과를 기술한다. 기존의 전자 인증서 검증 시스템으로 사용되고 있는 OCSPv1은 전자 인증서의 폐지 목록(CRL)을 통한 상태 검증만을 할 뿐으로 전자 인증서의 발급 경로에 대한 검증이나 CA에서 발급 당시의 정책이 변경되었을 경우에 대한 검증 기능은 제공하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SCVP를 OpenSSL-0.9.7 상에서 구현하여 기존의 OCSPv1과 연동함으로써 전자 인증서 발급경로 검증 및 전자 인증서 발급 정책의 변경은 물론 기존의 인증서 상태 검증도 할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • Although a mobile Internet telephony service becomes popular with the rapid propagation of smart phones, its service quality management system has not been prepared enough yet. For successful settlement and deployment of the mobile Internet telephony service in future, a strict service quality management is required. The service quality management using a specific measurement equipment has limitations that real-time monitoring is impossible. In this paper, therefore, we propose a proactive service quality management system for the mobile Internet telephony service and develop a software for its implementation. The developed software is verified by comparing the measurement results from the developed software to those from the softwares commonly used, and it is proved that the developed software is quite reliable.

  • Retargetability is typically achieved by providing target machine information, ADL, as input. The ADL are used to specify processor and memory architectures and generate software toolkit including compiler, simulator, etc. Simulator are critical components of the exploration and software design toolkit for the system designer. They can be used to perform diverse tasks such as verifying the functionality and/or timing behavior of the system, and generating quantitative measurements(e.g., power energy consumption) which can be used to aid the design process. In this paper, we generate the energy consumption estimation simulator through ADL. For this goal, firstly, we describes the energy consumption estimation and monitoring informations on the ADL based on EXPRESSION. Secondly, we generate the energy estimation and monitoring simulation library and then constructs the simulator, RenergySim. Lastly, we represent the energy estimations results for MIPS R4000 ADL description. From this subjects, we contribute to the efficient architecture developments and prompt SDK generation through programmable experiments in the field of mobile software development.

Implementation of Software Radio System for IEEE 802.15.4 Physical Layer Using USRP and GNU Radio (USRP와 GNU Radio를 이용한 IEEE 802.15.4 물리 계층 소프트웨어 라디오 시스템 구현)

  • In this paper, a software radio system, supporting the physical layer of IEEE 802.15.4 standard, has been developed using USRP(Universal Software Radio Peripheral) board and GNU Radio package of an open source development kit for software radio. The software radio system supports the standards of BPSK and OQPSK modulations for 868/915 MHz band and OQPSK modulation for 2.45 GHz band. To verify the operation of the developed system, it has been tested under the standard signals according to the frequency band and packet structures for the transmitting and receiving operation. At 2.4 GHz, the Smart RF EV board and CC2430 modules are used to check the proper operation of the software radio system. The system performance test shows that the emission power spectrum, the eye-pattern, and PER(Packet Error Rate) meet the standard. It has been confirmed that the developed system supports the PHY layer of IEEE 802.15.4.

  • This paper contains the signal receiving algorithm for Galileo E5 AltBOC signal and the development of Galileo E5 signal receiving software. The software runs the process from signal acquisition to extracting measurement data to get navigation solution. It uses logged IF data file as an input. In signal acquisition stage, 1ms and delayed 1ms data are used for reducing correlation ross from secondary code and navigation bit conversion. Signal tracking stage is made of two stages which are coarse tracking and fine tracking. It is for taking advantage of AltBOC characteristic and resolving ambiguity problem due to BOC modulation. The functions of software are verified by signal processing using logged IF data from commercial GNSS simulator.

  • Due to the increasing complexity of embedded system design, automatic code generation of embedded software and hardware-software co-design methodologies are gaining great interest from industries and academia. Such an automatic design methodologies are always demanding a formal system specification languages for defining designer's idea clearly and precisely. In this paper, we propose automatic embedded C code generation from SDL (Specification and Description Language, ITU-T recommended the SDL as a standard system description language) with considering a real-time uC/OS-II operating system. Our automatic embedded C code generator is expected to provide a fast specification, verification and performance evaluation platform for embedded software designs.

  • Successful software attacks require both injecting malicious code into a program's address space and altering the program's flow control to the injected code. Code section can not be changed at program's runtime, so malicious code must be injected into data section. Detoured flow control into data section is a signal of software attack. We propose a new software attack detection method which verify the target address of CALL, JMP, RET instructions, which alter program's flow control, and detect a software attack when the address is not in code section. Proposed method can detect all change of flow control related data, not only program's return address but also function pointer, buffer of longjmp() function and old base pointer, so it can detect the more attacks.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of transformational leadership on innovative behavior and the mediating effect of learning agility and organizational commitment. We selected 271 practitioners from China's software industry. The results show that transformational leadership has a positive correlation with innovative behavior, learning agility and organizational commitment play a partial mediating role between transformational leadership and innovative actions. Therefore, this study presents the necessity of transformational leadership development and learning and immersion programs in the innovation behavior of the Chinese software industry.

  • In the newly revised curriculum, it is aimed to raise student who has creativity and convergence ability with computational thinking. Based on the analysis of revised curriculum including software education in elementary school, this study proposed educational program that can be applied in actual school field, considering various factors. This educational program using Bitbrick was conducted by 50 students in fifth grade that consist of 23 students in Seoul and 27 students in Gyeonggido during five weeks in 17 periods. The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of application of software education program in terms of computational thinking ability and problem solving ability. The effect was verified after comparing the result of pre-test and post-test through T-test. So, this study obtained improvement of computational thinking and problem solving ability.
