Police questioning is police measure for acquiring information or inquiring an identification without questionee's will in order to accomplish the goal under the Police Act. However, like spear and shield, it has its own inherent limits between both sides of public power and human right and has stirred an hot issue in our society for longtime. The core problem is whether policeman can force a questionee stop when the questionee refuses policeman's stop requirement, the first step for police questioning. Some opinions argue that police questioning has somewhat effects on crime prevention and suspect arrest but people still have inconvenience and refusal from experiences of reckless police questioning in the past. Because of this, the police needs to recover people's trust on police questioning. In order to do so, in case of police questioning, human right should be superior to crime prevention or suspect arrest. This is the time's call. So when there is a police questioning, policeman's exertion of it on the questionee who refuse it should be conducted under strict conditions.

First investigation is urgent investigation activities to arrest and to obtain evidence at the beginning of the incident. If the first investigation is wrong, the crime will not be solved or a lot of evidence will be disappeared. Therefore, if the first investigation is wrong, Wasting a lot of manpower and budget, or the other victims are to occur. First investigation is the crime scene centered investigation, victim centered investigation and damaged goods centered investigation. The crime scene centered investigation is the investigation on the discovery of dropped objects, to confirm thd date of offense, on the discovery of witnesses. Victim centered investigation is the investigation of victim's personal information, the living conditions of the family, fellowship and home interior matter. Damaged goods centered investigation is the investigation on the place of crime damaged goods and the movement route of crime damaged goods. In order to reinforce the investigative capacity of police first investigation, It is needed to reinforce the education on the first investigation, to conduct continuously for FTX (field training), to product the manual for first investigation, to build a case analysis system, to develop of forensic techniques and the coordination of national. The police should be giving people faith from the first investigation.

In recent years with high interest rates and inflations, which worsen people's lives, voice phishing crimes also increase along with damage. Voice phishing that becomes more evolved by technology developments causes serious financial and mental damage to victims. This work aims to study time series models for its accurate prediction. ARIMA, SARIMA and SARIMAX models are compared. As exogenous variables, the amount of damages and the numbers of arrests and criminals are adopted. Forecasting performances are evaluated. Prediction intervals are constructed along with empirical coverages, which justify the superiority of the model. Finally, the numbers of voice phishing up to December 2024 are predicted, through which we expect the establishment of future prevention strategies for voice phishing.

보안 시스템의 중요성이 늘어남에 따라 열악한 CCTV 영상 환경에서의 범죄 예방 및 검거의 중요성이 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문은 CCTV의 제약 환경에 맞는 데이터 취득, 근적외선 및 가시영역 혼합 영상의 분리 및 복원 방법을 제안한다. 데이터 취득 및 학습시킨 데이터의 성능은 PSNR 방법을 이용해 비교하였고, 저조도 영역의 근적외선과 가시영역의 분리 성능은 34dB 이상이 나왔다. 색 복원은 PSNR 측면에서는 22.5dB가 나왔고, 저조도 영역의 분리 성능과 비교하여 낮은 성능을 기록하다. 색복원의 평가 정도는 원본 영상과 주관적 평가방법을 사용하여 비교하였다.

정보의 구조적 표현 가능하고 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 정보교환의 매개체로써 다양한 응용분야에 확산되고 있는 XML(extensible Markup Language)은 차세대 인터넷 전자문서 표준으로 주목받고 있다. 최근들어 기존 문서를 XML로 변환하거나 신규 문서를 XML로 작성하는 사례가 늘면서 대량의 XML문서가 생성되고 있으며 이에 따라 대량의 XML 문서를 효율적으로 검색하기 위한 XML 검색 시스템이 요구되어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 내용기반, 구조기반, 속성기반 검색을 지원하는 XML 문서의 질의언어로 제안되어진 XQL과 XML 문서를 분석하는 문서 구조 처리기, 사용자 입력 질의를 실행하기 위한 질의 언어 처리기를 가지는 XML 문서검거 시스템을 제시하고 검색된 문서의 견과를 웹 출판 프레임워크(Web Publishing Framework) 인 Cocoon을 적용하여 다른 포맷의 문서로 전환 가능한 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

자동차 산업의 발달로 인해 대두되는 자동차와 관련된 여러 사회 문제를 해결하기 위해 자동차의 자동 인식 시스템이 절실하게 요구되어지고 있다. 영상처리를 통한 자동차의 인식은 교통 단속은 물론 교통량 조사, 도난 차량 검거 등 여러 분야에서 사용 될 수 있고, 결과적으로 많은 노동력을 절약할 수 있다. 영상처리를 통한 주행 차량의 인식과 검색에 있어서 번호 판, 색깔, 차체의 모양 등 차량의 외판 정보가 중요한 요소가 된다. 본 논문에서는 차량의 번호 판과 색상 그리고 차량의 모델을 위한 라디에이터 그릴 부분을 이용하여 차량의 검색을 시도하였다.

Recently pictorial information processing has become increasingly important So, this paper described that feature points of fingerprint used to recognize fingerprints for identification in a government or arresting criminals in an institution like a police station related to crime. We apply an algorithm based on minimization of fuzzy theory to thinning and then the image into a certain size of squares. We have got some information about cores and deltas from the data encoding Into one of the eight directional codes. We could extract about $80\%$ feature points as the result of the experiment.

본 연구에서는 몽타주와 얼굴사진의 유사도를 산출하여, 유사도에 따라 얼굴사진의 순위를 정하는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저, 얼굴부위를 눈썹, 눈, 코, 입, 이마 등 27개로 나누고, 부위별 특징은 196개로 분류한다. 눈 부위의 특징을 예로 들면, 쌍꺼풀, 외꺼풀, 큰 눈, 작은 눈, 동그란 눈, 긴 눈, 처진 눈, 치켜 올라간 눈 등으로 분류할 수 있다. 나아가서, 200명의 얼굴사진 각각에 대해 특징을 분류하여, DB로 구축한다. 임의의 얼굴에 대해 몽타주를 작성하고, 몽타주에 대한 특징을 선택하여, DB의 얼굴 사진과 유사도를 산출하여, 순위를 정한다. 10명의 얼굴에 대해 몽타주를 작성하고, DB의 얼굴사진을 유사도에 따라 순위를 정한 결과, 1위 $\sim$ 6위 사이에 동일인물이 검색되었으며, 평균은 1.9위이었다. 이 결과는 몽타주를 작성하여 200매 얼굴의 유사도 순위를 정하면, 평균적으로는 2위에서, 적어도 6위 이내에서 동일 얼굴을 검색할 수 있다는 의미이다. 몽타주를 이용한 수사는 몽타주를 배포하여 시민의 신고에 의존하는 수동적인 방법을 사용하고 있으나, 이 방법을 이용하면, 용의자를 압축하여 검거하는 능동적인 수사가 가능하다.
