한국십진분류법(Korea Decimal Classification) 5판에서는 건축학 분야가 건축공학과 건축술이라는 두 항목으로 나뉘어 분류되었으나 2013년 6판에서는 '건축, 건축학'으로 통합되었다. 본 연구는 KDC 5판과 KDC 6판의 비교 분석과 DDC, NDC, UDC의 비교 분석을 통하여 개정된 KDC 6판의 건축학 분야를 살펴보고 개선방안을 제안하였다. 주요 십진분류법과의 비교 분석결과 건축학은 항목 통합으로 인한 재분류의 필요성, 이전보다 길어진 건축사 분류번호 문제가 발생하였으며, 한국 전통 건축에 대한 분류 전개 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타나 이에 대한 개선방안을 제안하였다.

Architecture had played a significant role model in philosophy because the construction of building represented doing philosophy. 'Architecture as metaphor' made it possible that doing philosophy was a kind of construction of thinking and western philosopher considered himself as an architect of idea. As a system of system, architectural analogy gave philosophy a chance to insist himself as a theory of theory. So architecture had always been a privileged model of discourse system and also a fundamental metaphor in philosophy. Because of its original meaning, Architecture as techne could be considered as poiesis, that was the special building(making) in western culture. The archi(arche) - structure(techne) was a ideal model and mechanism of philosophy because with this analogy doing philosophy became a kind of building act to make a logical system of idea. This kind of tradition in philosophy, especially metaphysics, made the characteristics of western philosophy 'architectonic' that implied the meaning of the rational, stable, hierarchical and holistic. But this kind of tradition exposed the problem of philosophy that focused on Identity and excluded the others. The logocentrism of western philosophy was also the limitation of architectonic thinking and its reductionism became a grand monologue which only allowed systematic, rational discourse. Its ideological position Inevitably caused the anti-architectural thinking in modern age as a diverse form of new trend of thinking as like postmodernism or deconstruction. Even Deconstructivism, or 'informe', non-representation in architecture depends upon anti-architectural thinking. Relationship between architecture as metaphor and the building of philosophy is problematique issue.

산소저감에 대한 프로젝트는 여러 가지 다른 이해관계와 의견 등을 종합적으로 고려해야 한다. 고객은 무엇보다도 안전하면서 비용적으로 효율적인 설비를 원한다. 도급자는 신기술을 신뢰하고 의지한다. 최신 기술이라도 이미 시간이 지난 것이라는 사실을 건축 계획자는 기억하지 못한다. 관할기관은 추가적 안전, 즉 비상시 보완적 수단을 원한다. 보험회사는 또 다른 위험을 감수하기를 원치 않는다. 신기술은 최첨단 기술과 신뢰할 만하고, 시험되고 인증된 설비를 반영한 문서의 초안을 요구한다. 안전요구 사항이 너무 낮다면 관할기관과 보험회사는 방화 수준을 향상시키는 것이 어렵다는 것을 지각한다. 우리는 권고사항을 알려주는 것만이 아니라 우리가 스스로 만들어낸 실수들을 부보하는 것이다. 자동차산업에서 리콜은 비용도 많이 들고 기업이미지 훼손도 심각하므로 고객들은 그들 스스로의 경험에 의지한다. 산소저감설비의 설치는 고객, 계획자, 보험회사에게 미래지향적이면서 안전한 설비를 선택했다는 확신을 심어줄 수 있다.

21세기 신기술은 나노기술(Nano Technology,NT)을 통해서 이뤄질 것으로 보인다. 로마를 통하지 않으면 어디로도 갈 수 없었던 것처럼 작게 생각하지 않으면 첨단기술에 접근할 수 없는 상황이 펼쳐지고 있다. 이전에 재료공학자ㆍ기계공학자 불리던 연구자들이 미지 세계 개척자로서 작은 것들을 새롭게 창조하는 '나노의 방주'에 서둘러 들어서고 있다. 나노의 방주에는 화학뿐만 아니라 물리ㆍ건축ㆍ공학 등이 자유롭게 넘나든다. 이들은 혜성처럼 등장한 나노라는 화두를 중심에 놓고 서로 영향을 주고받으며 기술의 향방을 결정하고 있다. 나노기술이 열려라 참깨식의 마술적 주문으로 작용하는 셈이다. 전능의 신 노릇을 하는 나노는 새로운 것을 만들어낼 뿐 아니라 다른 기술에 놀라운 능력을 부여하기도 한다. 종교인들이 신을 통해 새롭게 태어나듯 일상적 기술이 나노를 통하면 황금알을 낳는 신기술로 거듭나는 것이다. 그 이름에서도 알 수 있듯이 한국나노의료기는 현실보다는 미래지향적인 전략적 기업으로 발전을 거듭하고 있었다

최근의 사회적 분위기에 따라 연구 결과의 사업화에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 건축 시공 분야 역시 신기술에 대한 제품화가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 실정이다. 제품에 대한 사전 분석은 향후 신제품의 시장 진출시 성패를 좌우할 수 있는 중요한 절차 중 하나이다. 따라서 본 연구는 건축 분야에서 개발된 신기술의 제품화를 위한 사전 분석 방법 중의 하나로 경영전략도구로 활용되고 있는 중요도-성취도 분석을 실시하고 이의 적용 가능성을 모색하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 기 개발된 파이프 라인 검사용 스마트볼 제품을 평가하며, 이를 위하여 제품의 품질, 편리성, 활용가능성의 범주를 설정하였다. 하위 항목으로 17개의 요인을 설정하여 관련 전문가 및 소비 집단을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 좋은 작업상태 지속 유지 항목, 노력 집중화의 지향 항목, 우선 순위 낮음 항목, 과잉 낭비 가능성 항목을 선정하였으며 각각 항목에 적절한 전략적 방안을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 제품의 중요도 및 성취도 측면에서 상호관계 분석을 실시함으로써 향후 개발을 위한 우선 방향을 도출할 수 있는 방안을 제공하였다.
