A Study on the Design Technique for Energy Performance Indicators of Existing Office Buildings (기존 오피스건물 에너지성능지표에 따른 설계기법 연구)

  • Guidelines and institutional support for buildings are being promoted around the world as measures for environmental pollution and energy conservation. In Korea, standards are prepared according to the energy saving design standards of new buildings as amended in 2013.09.01 and the zero energy building for new buildings mandatory process is being prepared from the recommendations. Nevertheless, the government's binding power on smaller buildings is insufficient. Energy savings were analyzed for the recently constructed office buildings (application of external insulation technique) and propose a dual envelope techniques were proposed for energy reduction.

  • 가능최대홍수량(PMF)이란 가능최대강수량(PMP)을 입력으로 한 강우-유출해석의 결과를 말한다. 즉, 대상유역의 가능최대강수량을 산정하여 시 공간분포를 고려한 가능최대호우를 결정한 후, 강우-유출관계를 이용하여 최대홍수량을 산정하는 것이다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 산정된 가능최대홍수량은 실무에서 댐 설계를 위해 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 가능최대홍수량을 설계홍수량으로 채택하고 있는 국외의 강우-유출 해석 방법에 대해 조사하고, 국내의 경우와 비교하였다. 그 결과, 평균 개념의 Clark 단위도를 사용할 경우 홍수를 과소평가할 우려가 있으며, 큰 홍수사상을 모의하기 위해서는 최대 개념을 적용한 단위도의 도입이 필요하다고 판단하였다. 최대 개념을 적용한 기존의 연구들 또한 관측 기록년 이후에 기록된 수문량에 비해 월등히 큰 수문량이 발생할 때, 과거의 자료를 토대로 추정한 PMF의 신뢰성이 급격히 저감된다는 한계가 존재하므로, 국내 모든 유역에 적용할 수 있는 일관성 있는 단위도가 필요하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 특성 속도를 고려하여 빈도해석을 실시하였고, 이를 이용하여 최대 개념을 고려한 유역의 특성속도에 따른 Clark 단위도를 제시하였다. 아울러 단위도의 변화에 따른 가능최대홍수량의 변화를 검토하여, 단위도의 적용성을 평가하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of the cultural heritage conservation standards those have been developed throughout the century to reveal the evolution of the conservation. The analysis targets are prepared principles in response to the risks posed by armed conflicts, improper modifications, risks caused by urban planning and development, and the risk posed by environmental impacts. The study analyzed how conservation targets, issues, and conservation methods have changed. The analysis showed that the results of changed trend of conservation, first, the segmentation and diversification of the conservation targets, second, the integrated approaches, third, risk perception changes due to indirect effects from direct risk factors, forth, changes of conservation from safeguard to sustainable development.

  • It is the purpose of this study that propose design process of building in residential district con-sidering preferences of design concept determinants. The procedure of this study is as follows : First, classifying concept determinants and then investigate the preference of concept determinants according to the use of building in residential district. It will be proposed the process of design concept determinants through such preferences. And We will investigate applicable steps for constructing an elementary school in land development district, in order to verify these process of architectural design. It was investigated paper-survey and case studies, made up questionnaires twice. In the results, we could verify that design process considering the preference of concept determinants in residential district. These results can help designers to design appropriately, according to building usage in residential district.

  • 광학용 정밀유리와 건축용 패널유리 전문가공을 위한 CNC Glass Scribing Machine 을 개발하였다. 이제까지는 고품질의 고가기계를 수입하여 사용하던가 간이 자동화된 자체 개발기계를 사용하여 여유있게 절단한후 연삭가공에서 정밀칫수를 맞추는 작업을 해왔었다. 그러나 금번 개발된 기계를 사용하여 작업한 결과 연삭공정을 생략할수 있음은 물론 가공칫 수 정밀도도 일급 수준을 얻을수 있었다. 그러나 아직 세계일류의 품질과 성능은 도달치 못 했다. 생산성 향상을 위한 이송속도 향상설계와 가공칫수 정밀도의 초일급 달성을 위한 초 정밀설계를 통해 품질과 성능에서 세계일류의 상품화 개발과정을 준비중에 있다. 본논문에 서는 본 기계의 개발과정 및 주요요소기술들과 개발 결과를 정리하였다.

A Study on the Application of Design Process in the Architectural Design Practice (건축설계 실무과정에서 디자인 프로세스의 적용에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to find out how architectural designers applied the design process and what content is applied in the practical process of architectural design in Korea, and to improve it if there is a problem. So the study is carried out by investigating 13 architects(Including one person who wants to keep his work private) with extensive experience in architectural design. The architects were questioned on how and what content the design process was used for their representative works that had been designed. And interviews and field surveys were conducted on other matters to be improved. The survey was conducted from November 2021 to July 2022. According to the conclusion of this study, First, Most architects were applying the design process in the architectural design practice. These are caused by an impact on education, but there was also an aspect of preparation in terms of guidelines such as the Architects Association and storage rights. Second, Although the design process differed in each name and phase, it was generally carried out in the order of the start phase, the planning work phase, the basic design phase, the intermediate design phase, the implementation quarterly, and construction. Third, The step-by-step work of the design process differed slightly depending on the architect, but counseling and contract work were mainly performed at the start-up phase, and field surveys, legal investigations, and case studys were conducted at the planning phase. In the basic design phase, some contents related to architectural programming, basic drawings, images, and models were used as main work contents. In the intermediate design phase, secondary contents such as licensed books and facility facilities were the main tasks. In the implementation design phase, detailed maps and various frost facilities were finally inspected. Since then, construction and supervision have been carried out in the order of progress. Forth, As for the contents to be improved in the future, the architect's ability, the designer's knowledge of the overall architecture, the design supervision system, and the expansion of time for the initial design process were answered.

Comparative Analysis in Risk Perception of Daycare Center between End-Users and Construction Experts by Applying Traditional and Revised Importance-Performance Analysis (전통 및 수정 중요도-성과도 분석을 통한 어린이집 사용자와 건축 전문가의 공간 별 리스크 인식 비교 분석)

  • Daycare center is an important space for children's mental, physical and social development. Each space of daycare center should be designed and constructed considering interests of end-users such as children and teachers. However, insufficient related guidelines and standardized design and construction of daycare center to moderate potential risks of each space. This arises from the difference in perception of each space between end-users (head and sub teachers) and construction experts (designers and contractors). Therefore, research framework was developed for analyzing the factors of perception differences of each space in daycare center between these groups applied traditional and modified Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). By comparing risk perception between end-users and experts in two methods, it can be support as construction guide for daycare center in the future and will help minimize conflicts in construction among stakeholders. Moreover, it was found that traditional IPA is comfortable to catch prior project perception of participants, and revised IPA is considered to judge outputs by identifying participant's importance based on the satisfaction of the project performance. Therefore, if IPAs are applied according to the characteristics of the circumstances, it is possible to analyze the perception difference between end-users and construction experts based on the context before and after the construction of the daycare center.

Design Evaluation of the Post-installed Anchor considering Effective Embedded Depth and Concrete Strength (유효 묻힘 깊이와 콘크리트 강도를 고려한 후설치 앵커의 설계식 평가)

  • Post-installed anchor is a structural material that connects structural and non-structural members to existing concrete members. However, there are cases where rebar interception and construction error occur at the site. In that case, measures are needed to prevent performance degradation of the rear-installation anchors. In this study, in order to evaluate the performance of torsional control expandable post-installed anchors for compressive strength and effective depth of the reference concrete was tested. The results of the most commonly used tests of M10 and M20 showed that had variable coefficients within 15%, satisfying the reliability presented in KCI(2017). It was also confirmed that the depth of the buried and the strength of concrete affect the strength of the pavement. Based on the results of the existing similar studies and the results of this study, the design equation of the post-installed anchor was proposed and the results were compared with the existing design.

  • Unlike conventional construction production methods, OSC (Off-Site Construction) have many restrictions depending on the production environment and technology, so it is important to develop a design plan considering these restrictions and select the optimal design alternative considering the overall efficiency of the building production process. Accordingly, the construction industry is paying attention to DfMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) to derive the optimal design plan for the OSC project. Leading OSC countries such as Singapore and the United Kingdom have recognized the need to apply DfMA and presented DfMA guidelines and application strategies suitable for the characteristics of the OSC industry, and several researchers are conducting research to integrate DfMA into the construction industry. However, in the case of Korea, the need for industrial application and industrial application of DfMA is recognized, but there are no methods and tools necessary to implement the concept of DfMA in the design of actual construction projects. Therefore, this study aims to present the basic direction of strategy for applying DfMA and developing tools for the development of the domestic OSC industry by analyzing the development and application of DfMA in overseas construction. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the development of DfMA tools suitable for the domestic OSC industry and the establishment of policies related to DfMA in the future.

Analysis on the Differences of Point of View between Architect and Urban Planner on the Evaluation of International Urban Design Competition (국제설계경기 평가에서 건축가와 도시계획가의 관점차이 분석)

  • During the development process of mega-project, individual buildings including skyscrapers are built following the master plan. It is not a difficult thing to see the gap of standpoint between the urban planners and architects on the project. This study aims to analyze the difference between architect and urban planner's point of view in evaluating international design competition works which the internationally distinguished honorable design companies(SOM, Jerde Partnership, Studio Daniel Libeskind, Foster+Partners and Asymptote Architecture) submitted as the ideas of Yongsan International Business District Design. Furthermore, we made an attempt to quantify the weight of each factors of urban design by each group. Architect and urban planner's viewpoint were revealed with seven architects and seven urban planners evaluating the international design competition works through AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process). AHP structure was made of two step hierarchy in terms of Master Plan and Landmark Tower. Eight evaluation criteria were set up such as the concept, land use, transportation, feasibility of Master Plan and the concept, location, functional efficiency and aesthetic beauty of Landmark Tower. Results show that Architect have different point of view from that of urban planner. While the architect's weight of evaluation criteria is on the Landmark Tower(0.505), urban planner's weight is on Master Plan(0.642). Feasibility, the location of Landmark Tower and land-use are very important evaluation criteria to architect and urban planner in common. Functional efficiency of Landmark Tower is in architect's favour and transportation is in urban planner.
