개방화시대를 맞아 경제, 사회, 문화 등 모든 분야에 걸쳐 외국업체와의 치열한 경쟁은 피할 수 없는 현실이 되고 있다. 특히, 건축설계 분야에 있어서 개방화, 국제화의 큰 파고 속에 우리 건축설계 사무소의 업무를 외국업체에 잠식 당할지도 모른다는 현실적인 문제점만을 지적하기에 앞서, 이를 계기로 우리 건축설계사무소들의 본격적인 해외시장 진출의 전환기회로 삼으려는 적극적인 자세가 필요하다. 지피지기라고 하는 옛말이 있듯이 이번 좌담회에서는 외국업체와의 본격적인 경쟁에 앞서 우리 건축설계사무소의 현주소를 뒤돌아 보고 외국업체와의 업무범위, 설계과정, 단계별 설계범위(기본설계, 실시설계), 특별업무(단지계획, 음향, 자문)등에 대해 비교, 분석해 봄으로써 앞으로 우리 건축설계사무소들이 나아가야 할 방향을 모색해 보고자 한다.

The architectural design process is consisted of the phase of programming and the phase of the design. The contemporary architectural scheme, as a datascape, a rhizome structure and a diagram, is based on the concept of modern physics. And it is applied on the phase of design by synthesizing data. Like this, the design of the architectural field is accomplished in the phase of design. For design of the architectural field, the characteristics of the architectural field is considered as the viewpoint of design in the procedure. First, according to the area which is defined by relations of environments, around architectures and so on, the net system of relations is designed as area. Second, design the linkage between building and space, building and building, space and space, according to the correspondence each other. Third, design the method or form of connecting building and space to one as a building and a space are no longer divided but are understood by one. As a result, for the design of architectural field, it is necessary to define the criteria by the characteristics of architectural field and the architectural field is designed by process.

이번 회 및 다음 회 두 회에 걸쳐서 파라메트릭 툴이 건축 설계 및 시공 과정에서 디자인 툴로써 뿐 만이 아니라 설계를 진행하기 위해 주어진 설계 초기 조건을 분석하는 과정 및 시공과정에서의 시행착오와 오차를 줄이기 위한 pre-construction 등에 다양하게 사용되는 경우를 살펴보도록 하겠습니다. 본 프로젝트는 SHoP Architects에 재직 당시 작업하였던 Barclays Center의 Green Roof 프로젝트이며 경기장 안 이벤트나 경기가 벌어질 경우 주변에 들어서는 고층 주거 빌딩 및 기존 주거지역의 소음을 저감하기 위한 일차적 목적과 기존의 방수층이 노출된 지붕의 미관상(fig.01)의 이차적인 목적으로 다른 한 겹의 지붕 층을 추가하는 프로젝트였습니다.

환경색채문제는 관심은 상당히 고조되어 있으나 실제 이용할 수 있는 설계기법이나 체계적인 연구성과가 미약하여 설계자 또는 관에서 설계나 행정의 준거로 삼을 만한 자료가 태무한 실정이고 이런 상황에서 본고는 건축과 도시색채의 일반적 계획원리와 색채계획과 설계의 과정을 약술함으로써 문제제기를 겸하여 건축설계 또는 도시설계자들의 참고자료에 보탬이 되게 하려는 것이다. 앞으로 이 분야의 연구와 자료축적이 꾸준히 이루어짐으로써 합리적인 이론과 실용적인 기법이 정립되는 것이 건축계의 또 하나의 과제일 것이다.

현재 많은 분야에서 사용하고 있는 2D 3D CAD(Computer-Aided Design)는 기하학적 요소들의 그래픽 구현에 주로 활용되어 왔다. CAD를 통해 이전의 수작업 도면작성에서 디지털 도면작성으로 설계 방법의 변화가 촉진됨으로써 설계오류를 크게 줄이는 한편 설계변경에도 많은 편리함을 가져 왔다. 지금 건축 설계의 패러다임은 단순한 기하학적 드로잉에서 '정보'를 만나, 건축의 전 과정뿐 아니라 사후 유지관리에 대한 각종 데이터까지 처리할 수 있는 BIM으로 발전되고 있다. 본지는 컴퓨터 지원 설계의 변천 과정과 건설시장의 새로운 프로세스로 부각되고 있는 BIM의 현황 및 설비업계와의 접목 가능성, 향후 전망 등에 대해 알아본다.

In the design process of modern architecture, diagrams are most commonly used as tools of explanation and creation. Many architects use diagrams in the process of explaining or creating their own works, and the concept of programs and diagrams expressing them are accepted by audiences as part of creative work in the process of actual architectural design beyond the role of a medium. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the various uses of architects through diagrams in the construction process and the operation process of diagrams applied in the design process by defining diagrams by era as a tool to show the process of building space over the past 30 years.

This research explains a new process in architecture frameworks. A complete analysis on implementation of the specific frameworks can be conducted by a special system. Moreover, the system can be installed anywhere, and it produces a unique result, which is customized based on the contents of architectural designs by users. Before using the system, an architect should think about the design and the process of constructing frameworks because a computer sometimes computes misleading results although the architect describes architectural structures, which the designer wants. If the architect inputs the same process into the computer, and the result of frameworks changes, it is not a proper architectural design. Hence, a tool, which precisely treats data, is needed. Therefore, when constructing the proper architecture, a new paradigm of architecture should be used to distinguish the issues of discussion by using various data. Also, based on this information, an apartment housing complex design, related to possible parameters, which can be expressed by combining various fusion tables and geocloud, and architectural designs, is proposed.

In order to meet the needs of integrated design process in architect industry, BIM(Building Information Modeling) education in university is urgently needed. However, the investigation of the current status of BIM education at 60 universities shows that most universities do not offer BIM education at all, or opened only one regular course for BIM education. The survey on BIM education for students shows that non-curricular activities brought bigger educational achievements than regular courses. Considering these findings and the practical restrictions of the universities, and through evaluation and feedback from professors as educational providers and working architects as professional users, the desirable strategy for BIM education in architect design was able to be suggested, which is consisted of regular curriculum of two courses and 40 hours non-curricular activities.

In spite of various approaching method to satisfy with the owner's requirements in schematic design phase, it is insufficient to evaluate intermediate process of design arithmetically with participating in design process. So the numerous changes of design after completion of design development cause a lot of loss to the design company. The designer arranges owner's requirements to prevent from this loss at the initial stage of schematic design phase systematically and lets owner and stakeholder to evaluate the value of schematic design to satisfy with owner's and stakeholder's requirements. If the evaluated value for schematic design is above a definite value index, the next design phase should be advanced. By this method, the design company can reduce the additional expenses remarkably by preventing with re-design which is occurred by not reflecting owner's intention or by changing owner's intention. Also the designer have the owner to evaluate the result of design and construction. The designer let the owner know whether the owner's requirement should well have been reflected on drawing or not. There is a strong point to be able to minimize the criticism which can be occurred after completion of construction by evaluating for owner's satisfactory degree and by having owner and designer confirm the result of design and construction arithmetically. This paper presents that the loss of design company can be minimized by going over at next step if the value is over a definite value index after evaluating value for each design from design process.

중국의 원림건축은 성시건축, 주거건축, 궁궐건축, 사묘건축, 단묘건축, 능묘건축 등과 더불어 중국고전건축을 구성하고 있는 주요한 유형 가운데 하나이다. 그러나 다른 어떤 건축유형도 원림건축 만큼 중국인의 정신세계와 조형세계를 종합적이고 입체적으로 반영하고 있는 것은 없다. 뿐만 아니라 여기에는 중국을 정점으로 한국과 일본이 함께 일궈낸 한자문화권의 범주 속에서 세 나라가 각기 가지고 있는 건축미학의 차별성도 비교적 명확하게 담겨져 있다. 따라서 중국 고전 원림건축에 대한 이해는 최근들어 우리 건축계에서 주목하고 있는 비교건축의 시각을 여는 발판이 될 수 있음은 물론이거니와 나아가 우리 자신의 존재가치와 특성을 보다 객관적으로 바라볼 수 있는 기회가 되리라고 믿는다. 이 연재는 모두 10회로 구성하였으며 먼저 중국 고전 원림건축의 기본적인 발전과정을 서술하고 이어서 그 설계원리를 규명해 보며, 다음으로 몇가지 대표적인 사례의 분석을 통하여 구체적인 실천의 과정을 탐색하는 한편, 최종적으로는 오늘의 중국 현실에서 그러한 가치들이 어떻게 접목되고 있는지 추적해 보고자 한다.
