A Review on Exchange of Building Design Information based on IFC (IFC 기반 건축 구조설계 정보 교환 방안에 대한 고찰)

  • IFC는 건축물의 전체 생애주기에 걸친 모든 정보들을 신속하고 정확하게 관련 참여자들과 교환 및 공유하기 위해서 개발된 중립적인 포맷, 즉 정보모델로서, 현재 많은 건축 관련 분야의 소프트웨어들이 지원하고 있다. 최근 BIM의 개요, 효과, 필요성 등이 널리 인식되면서 건물에 대한 정보를 표현, 저장, 교환, 공유하기 위한 표준적인 정보모델인 IFC의 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있다. 하지만, 건축물의 구조해석 및 구조설계 분야에서는 IFC를 적극적으로 활용하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 현상에 대한 원인은 다양하지만, 가장 직접적인 원인은 IFC에 구조해석 및 구조설계 분야에서 필요한 정보모델이 완전하게 포함되어있지 않기 때문이다. 비록 IFC에 구조분야에 필요한 정보모델이 일부 포함되어 있지만 아직 발전시켜야 할 부분이 많이 있으며, 동적해석이나 비선형해석에 필요한 정보모델은 아직 개발되어 있지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서는 IFC의 구조분야 정보모델을 분석하고 그 활용사례 등을 검토하여 현황, 한계 및 문제점, 향후 기대사항 등을 고찰하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 비젼의 사진측량학적 방법과 대상물의 기하학적 정보를 결합하여, 사진으로부터 건축물의 정확한 값을 복원해 내는 새로운 모델링 시스템을 소개한다. 사용자의 간단한 프로토타입핑으로 얻은 대략의 모델 정보를 시스템이 사진 이미지와의 오차를 최소화하는 방법으로 자동적으로 모델 정보를 복원해 내며, 사진에서 최선의 텍스쳐 맵을 생성해 내므로, 세밀한 모델링 없이도 사진 수준의 사실적인(photo-realistic)모델을 얻을 수 있다. 빠르고 간단한 방법으로 실재 대상의 효과적인 모델을 얻을 수 있는 이 연구의 성과는 가상현실 분야의 모델링 작업에서 추구하는 바와 일치하므로, 가상현실 분야에서 유용하게 사용될 것으로 보이며, 알맞은 대상에 적용을 통해 실질적인 응용이 기대되어진다.

  • 이 연구에서는 건축물 화재 시, 허용피난시간을 예측하기 위한 예측모델을 개발하는 것을 목표로 한다. 실제 건축물을 대상으로 화재시뮬레이션을 수행하여 FDS 데이터베이스를 구축하였으며, FDS데이터를 학습하여 설계단계에서 건축물 특성을 학습변수로 하여 기계학습을 통해 ASET을 도출하는 예측모델을 제안하였다. 예측모델은 학습데이터와 비교하였을 때 0.9 이상의 높은 R2값을 나타내었다.

  • Representation of building internal space is an active research area as the need for more geometrically accurate and visually realistic increases. 3 dimensional representation is common ground of research for disciplines such as computer graphics, architectural design and engineering and Geographic Information System (GIS). In many cases CAD plans are the starting point of reconstruction of 3D building models. The main objectives of building reconstruction in GIS applications are visualization and spatial analysis. Hence, CAD plans need to be preprocessed and edited to adapt to the data models of GIS SW and then georeferenced to enable spatial analysis. This study automated the preprocessing of CAD data using AutoCAD VBA (Visual Basic Application), and the processed data was topologically restructured for further analysis in GIS environment. Accuracy of georeferencing CAD data was also examined by comparing the results of coordinate transformation by using digital maps and GPS measurements as the sources of ground control points. The reconstructed buildings were then applied to visualization and network modeling.

Proposed Information Management Plan for Building Inspection and Maintenance Based on COBie-IM and BIM (COBie-IM 및 BIM 기반 건축물 점검 및 유지보수 정보관리방안 제시)

  • To maintain the normal function of an aging building, regular inspection, repair, and reinforcement must be performed. However, the form of information and decision-making generated in the current building maintenance stage still depends on inefficient methods. This causes an increase in cost and waste of time in building maintenance. Therefore, this study proposed a COBie-IM document for building inspection and maintenance information management by benchmarking COBie, and suggested a method of checking information by linking it with BIM. In addition, a method for visualizing the designation of colors according to the damage grade of defects occurring in the building was suggested. Through this, we are able to systematically integrate and manage the information generated during inspection and maintenance in the building maintenance stage. This is expected to increase work efficiency by supporting decision-making that determines the priority of repair and reinforcement for defects.

  • Recently, BIM(Building Information Modeling) has been applied to the infrastructure such as road and bridge, and information about the outside environment of buildings is needed for maintaining and managing the large urban facilities. In addition, the convergence between spatial information and Big-data has a large potentiality, in respect that considerable profits and developments in other application problems such as various simulations and urban plans, national land security, may be brought about on the basis of the interoperability of information between BIM and GIS. Therefore, this study attempted to suggest the development direction of a model integrating building for spatial information analysis and city on the subject by comparing and analyzing difference between information system and shape expression of IFC, CityGML and LandXML to efficiently link information between IFC as a standard model of BIM and CityGML as a standard model in the GIS sector and to prepare a basic fusion strategy and a method of utilization between BIM and GIS. The result of the study are as follow. Firstly, contents and structure of IFC, CityGML and LandXML are compared and analyzed. Secondly, the development direction of iBUM(Integrated Building and Urban Model) suggested, which is based on convergence technology for analysis of space information. Finally, a strategy and method of the BIM and GIS are proposed in the iBUM environment.

  • The regular assessment of a building is important to understand structural safety and latent risk in the early stages of building life cycle. However, methods of traditional assessment are subjective, atypical, labor-intensive, and time-consuming and as such the reliability of these results has been questioned. This study proposed a method to bring accurate results using a 3D laser scanner and integrate them in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to visualize defective condition. The specific process for this study was as follows: (1) semi-automated data acquisition using 3D laser scanner and python script, (2) scan-to-BIM process, (3) integrating and visualizing defective conditions data using dynamo. The method proposed in this study improved efficiency and productivity in a building assessment through omitting the additional process of measurement and documentation. The visualized 3D model allows building facility managers to make more effective decisions. Ultimately, this is expected to improve the efficiency of building maintenance works.

  • 본 논문은 대형 건축물 내에서의 보행자 대피 시뮬레이션을 위해, 광범위한 네트워크 모델과 세밀한 네트워크 모델을 통합하는 방법과보행자가 자연스럽게 벽이나 장애물을 피하면서 이동할 수 있도록 하는 개선된 보행자 이동 모델을 제안한다. 제안하는 네트워크 모델을 통해 기존의 광범위 네트워크 모델에서 분석할 수 없는 보행자 개개인의 이동정보를 세밀한 네트워크보다 적은 양의 연산으로 계산할 수 있었고, 개선된 보행자 이동 모델을 통해 보행자가 자연스럽게 벽이나 장애물을 피하면서 이동할 수 있도록 하였다. 제안하는 방법을 대형 건축물인 코엑스 몰에 적용하여 대피 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과, 3000명의 보행자에 대해 초당 10번 이상의 시뮬레이션 정보를 계산할 수 있었고, 대피 시의 방향 유도에 따른 대피 시간을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study was to make a database model for financial feasibility study of buildings offered for sale which is helpful for improvement of business ability in construction and confidence of a project from a related participant. At first, we studied several thesis and met some professionalist which work for construction and did a first survey for examining latest situation of a feasibility study in construction. As a result, even though feasibility study is important, factors for information management wasn't systemized. So we did a second survey for fixing Factors of the database model. The database model was composed of the factors that we got from the second survey. ER(Entity-Relationship) analysis was used to making it. We expect thar we can get more reasonable information to study financial feasibility study and can diminish risks of project through the database model. So the result of this study was to make a database model for more reasonable financial feasibility study of building offered for sale.

  • A systemic building maintenance management is necessary to supply an convenience and safety environment by maintain the origin features for a building's life. However, the exist maintenance management system has some problems such as interoperability of information or standardization of data. In those reasons, a critical information for maintenance a building may be lost and changed. In addition, the data could be crashed or lost on a process of re-input or re-produce. This paper purpose the interoperability in exchanging data between design/construction and operation phases. In addition, this model will enhance the efficiency of building maintenance tasks through information quality improvement and data reproduction prevention.
