${\bullet}$ 새로운 건축기술과 각종 신소재의 등장, 새로운 설계기법 및 공법의 개발 등으로 국내 건축시장의 건축 관련 업무는 증가하고, 건축주의 요구조건도 다양해지고 있음 ${\bullet}$ 현재 건축 관련 교육은 건축사에 한정되어 있으며, 건축사사무소 소속직원은 교육 의무규정 및 관리체계 등이 부재한 상태로 교육의 기회를 얻지 못하고 있음 ${\bullet}$ 관련하여 설문조사를 시행한 결과, 건축사 중 대부분이 소속직원 역량 향상 및 교육의 필요성을 느끼고 있었으며, 만일 교육을 한다면 의무교육 형태를 요구하는 응답자가 절반 이상으로 나타났음 ${\bullet}$ 하지만 의무교육을 실시할 경우, 시간 할애 및 비용에 대한 부담을 느끼고 있어, 의무교육을 실시할 경우 이에 대한 해결책을 필요로함.

APEC(아시아 태평양 경제협력기구)의 국가간 기술자 인증 및 UIA(국제 건축가연합)의 건축사 상호인정에 대한 문제가 대학 건축교육의 민감한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 건설 경기는 IMF여파의 연속선상민 불황의 늪으로 치닫고 있는 느낌을 떨쳐 버릴 수 없는 위기에 직면해 있다. 더불어 각 건설업체는 기술경쟁우위의 확보, 수주능력 창출, 원가절감을 통한 이윤극대화 등의 요구가 날로 심각해지는 상황에서 건축환경의 변화에 대응할 수 있는 기술자로서의 능력있는 인재를 배출하는 것은 건축교육을 담당하고 있는 입장에서 보면 필수 불가결한 과제가 되었다.(중략)

This study is to explore the contents and composition of architectural design studio. The purpose of this study is to seek after the potentiality of architectural design education as a formative design dealing with the morphologic difference between solid and void, and to present the effective process of design education for architectural design studio in terms of creative thinking.

The active promotion of construction technology application, aimed at cost reduction, construction time shortening, and performance enhancement during the implementation of Value Engineering (VE) in design, is underway. However, in the process of deriving VE ideas, it is common to simply reuse VE ideas from similar past construction projects, and the application of construction technology is often insufficient. Therefore, in this study, we intend to establish a database linking construction technology information with Building Information Modeling (BIM) models to activate the application of construction technology in the process of deriving VE ideas.

The ultimate goal of architecture is to construct a building through design and supervision. According to this circumstance, architectural education divided into two part ; design and construction. However, these two processes have to be one program for better education. In this aspect, steel housing program could be a desirable one because of its structural(bearing wall) system and relative short construction schedule. In KUT architectural program, steel housing has been one of the most effective and important for about ten years. In this research, the contents(s/w) and running process of this program and practice lab(h/w) will be introduced with detail. And this study could be a good guideline for a better combination program with theory and practice in architectural engineering field.

The technical proposal bidding system emphasizes the evaluation of the construction company's technical capabilities, with the aim of improving the quality and cost-effectiveness of the construction. However, in the VE analysis and proposal process for technical proposal bidding, the ideas are often reused from similar past construction projects, and the application of new construction technologies/methods is often lacking. Therefore, this study proposes a methodology for managing VE proposal information by integrating it into a BIM model using parametric modeling. This research developed database based on the existing VE proposals and new construction technology/method information from the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology. And by using parametric modeling, the proposed method integrate the VE database with BIM model. The methodology proposed in this study is expected to improve the reliability and effectiveness of VE-related idea proposals in technical proposal bidding.

본 대학 건축설비과는 1995년 12월 대한설비공사협회 서울특별시회와 위탁교육에 관한 계약을 맺고 1996학년도에 협회 산하업체 직원 40명에 대한 별도학급을 편성하여 위탁교육을 실시하고 있으며, 1997학년도에도 39명에 대한 별도학급을 편성하여 위탁교육을 실시하였다. 위탁교육제도는 산업체 종사자들에 대해 전문지식의 습득기회를 확대하여 기술변화에 대응할 수 있는 능력을 함양시키고 기업의 경쟁력을 강화시키는데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 2년째로 접어든 건축설비과 위탁교육과정을 합리적으로 운영하고 교육생들의 학습의욕을 능동적으로 고취시켜 산업계의 기술변화에 적절히 부응할 수 있는 교육방안을 마련하기 위하여 1,2학년 위탁교육생들의 설문으로 교육생 성향을 분석하고 교육지도 방안, 산업체 지도방안 그리고 홍보 방안을 모색하고자 한다.
