Information management system development of construction material based on international data attribute (국제 데이터 속성 기반 건설자재 정보관리 시스템 구축)

  • 최근 건설 분야의 정보화 기술이 발달함에 따라 건설생애(Life Cycle) 과정에서 파생되는 방대한 양의 정보를 수집·가공·축적·제공 하는 시스템이 급증하는 추세이다. 특히, 건설공사의 주요요소인 자재 정보를 제공하는 Web 기반 온라인 시스템만 현재 110여개 이상으로 토목·건축·설비·소방 분야에 이르기까지 매우 다양하다. 그러나 이러한 시스템에서 제공 중인 정보가 표준화 및 정형화 되지 않아 건설현장 실무자들의 정보 획득에 있어 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정형화되고 표준화된 건설자재정보를 제공하기 위해 건설자재 분류체계를 정의하고 건설자재 속성정보를 정형화하여 자재별 분류체계검색, 통합검색, 카테고리검색 뿐만 아니라 전자카탈로그로 변환 및 생성이 가능한 건설자재정보 관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현 하였다.

Weight Evaluation of Risk Factors for Early Construction Stage (초기 건설공사 리스크인자의 중요도 산정)

  • This study identifies various risk factors associated with activities of early construction stage, then establishes the Risk Breakdown Structure(RBS) by classifying the risks into the three groups; Common risks, risks for Earth works, and risks for Foundation works. The Common risks are identified and classified by considering various aspects of the early construction stage such as financial, political, constructional aspects, etc. The risks for Earth works and Foundation works are identified in detail by surveying technical specifications, relevant claim cases and interviewing with experts. These risks are classified based on the Wok Breakdown Structure(WBS) of the early construction stage. The WBS presented in this study classifies the works of early construction stage into four categories; excavation, sheeting works, foundation works, footing works. This study suggests a risk analysis method using fuzzy theory for construction projects. Construction risks are generally evaluated as vague linguistic value by subjective decision making. Fuzzy theory is a proper method to quantify vague conditions of construction activities. Therefore, this study utilizes fuzzy theory to analyse construction risks. The weight of risks is estimated by reflecting the interrelationship among risk factors from absolute weights obtained by fuzzy measure into the relative weights by Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP). The interrelationship is estimated by Sugeno-fuzzy measure.

A Development of Work Breakdown Structure and Link to Standard Estimation System for 3D Printing Building (건축물 3D 프린팅 공종분류체계 도출 및 표준품셈 연계방안 제시)

  • 3D printing technology is attracting increasing attention as a key technology of the fourth industrial revolution that can change the production paradigm of existing industries. The introduction of construction 3D printing technology has been slower than other industries because of the characteristics of the construction field. On the other hand construction automation using 3D printing is required to reduce the production population, as well as improve productivity and safety. In this study, a construction 3D printing work breakdown structure and link method to a standard estimation system were developed as a preliminary preparation for introducing 3D printing to construction. Based on expert consultation on construction and 3D printing, a hypothetical scenario was developed based on existing construction 3D printing technology. According to the scenario, 16 kinds of works required for 3D printing construction work were derived. The existing work breakdown structure and standard estimation system were analyzed, and the 3D printing work was linked. 3D printing works that were the same as the existing breakdown structure were found, and non-existent works were added to the similar breakdown structure. These results are expected to be helpful for future 3D printing construction management and cost estimation. The actual standard estimation system through 3D printing work will need to be calculated.

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate elemental costs of an apartment building. The adapted research method includes a case study from $^{\circ}{\AE}H^{\circ}{\phi}$ construction company. The results of this study are as follows: 1) An elemental cost format of an apartment building is proposed, 2) An elemental cost table based on a case study of $^{\circ}{\AE}H^{\circ}{\phi}$ construction company is suggested.

  • Work delay is the one of facts that make the reliability of construction business decrease. Building a causal classification system of work delay and deducing the managemental item for it gives a great competition to the construction industry. It is, however, so rare to study about work delay so far. Therefore, this research analyzed a questionnaire, which is focussing on the public apartment construction, to look into the causal root factors and deduce the work delay factors. Finally, we suggest a major managing point to remove effectively the work delay factors.

  • This study presents a risk management methodology using fuzzy theory for early construction stage and is focused on risk identification and risk analysis. This study identifies various risk factors associated with activities clearly construction stage, then establishes the Risk Breakdown Structure(RBS) by classifying the risks into the three groups; Common risks, risks for Earth works, and risks for Foundation works. The risk analysis method presented in this study is based on the RBS that has two levels such as upper level and lower level. The risk exposure of lower level risk factors is assessed by fuzzy inference. The weight of risks is estimated by fuzzy measure. Then, the estimated risk exposures and weights are aggregated to assess the risk exposure of upper level risks by Choquet fuzzy integral. The risk exposure of upper level risks determine the priority of risk factors in view of risk management. This study performs case study to validate the proposed method. The result of case study shows that the methodology suggested in this thesis would be utilized well in evaluating risk exposure.

  • Standardization to information attribute of construction material is continuous demanded through the life cycle of a construction project, and the productivity elevation is derived of contribution effect in construction market. This study surveyed the means of acquisition and attribute of information to a staff in purchase, which are effected on the revitalization of information circulation to the construction material Proposed the standardization to information attribute of construction material that is based on improvement and application to the information attribute. And information attribute is classified with construction process through analysis on test list of quality certification. This study also suggested representative attribute of quality information, for the elevation of safety and quality in construction industry. Therefore, logicality of common information is based by analysis of mathematical statistics, systemicity of quality information is applied by MasterFormat(2004)

  • In modular construction, safety management is required to prevent the occurrence of risk factors such as lifting work and high place work due to the characteristics of the construction method. Therefore, this study is a basic study for safety management of modular construction, and the purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the classification system of modular construction derived by analyzing the construction process of the existing case. Based on the results of this study, the safety management classification system will be used in future research to derive safety management factors in modular construction.

  • A construction temporary work is main process and importance trade section. It has many works and facilities such as temporary transfer equipments which tower crane, and lift, and architectural temporary facilities which temporary office, temporary warehouse, and site test laboratory, and construction temporary equipments which scaffoldings, work plates, construction supports, and forms to set and to use in under construction and to remove in the end. A technology system of construction temporary has very low availability of field works and needs improvements in Korea as construction site has a quick response about new requirements. This study is organized existing technology systems and new technologies for field works, and developed breakdown structure of construction temporary technologies to be a basic of temporary technologies as review with site managers. For this, it will improve to be a knowledge and information system as a research of a performance and an availability about a construction temporary technology index.

  • With the recent development of 4th industrial revolution technology, BIM information systems are spreading to civil engineering fields as a link to this technology. Accordingly, the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ministry is announcing a technical policy to introduce the BIM information system into the construction sector from 2020. Usually, SOC-related facilities are complex, making it difficult to implement BIM without a standards framework. To overcome these problems, it is urgent to develop a BIM standard classification system. In this study, the BIM property classification system was developed to link the previously developed object classification system by analyzing domestic and foreign prior studies and working standards. This includes property information of businesses, facilities, parts of facilities and components that correspond to the level of object composition in the road and river sectors. It also suggested ways to apply expansion to various SOC areas and to organize spatial information by facility. The results of this study were applied to road facilities to verify the possibility of information building. The development of the BIM Standards Classification System through this R&D will contribute to the development of construction IT by providing conditions for convenient modeling and information system.
