본 논문은 반려견의 사회 이슈 및 사육과 관련된 정보를 제공하고 반려인들의 소통을 원활히 수행할 수 있는 커뮤니티 '멍글멍글'을 개발한다. 반려견에 대한 관심이 계속 늘어나며, 이에 따른 시장 및 제도의 확장으로 반려인들이 얻는 정보의 불확실성과 제도에 대한 이해도가 감소하고 있다. '멍글멍글'은 이러한 맥락에서 출발하여 반려견을 키우는 사람들에게 신뢰성 있는 정보를 전달하고 원활한 소통을 촉진하기 위한 목적으로 개발되었다. 선정된 크리에이터가 정리한 객관적인 정보를 비롯하여 누구나 질문하고 답하며 소통할 수 있는 커뮤니티 기능, 반려견의 건강기록과 일정 관리 등의 기능을 제공함으로써 사용자는 한곳에서 다양한 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다. 이를 통해 반려동물의 양육 난도를 낮추고 양육 만족도를 높여 더 건강하고 행복한 생활에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

This article discusses the nutritional requirements, reviews senior or geriatric dog nutritional evaluation, and then addresses some common nutrition-related problems in older dogs. The purpose of this study was to investigate the Physiologic change associated with aging, essential nutrients and their diseases in senior or geriatric dog subjects. According to a 2002 market research, 30% to 40% of dogs raisedin the United States are 7 years of age. In Europe the number of dogs considered to be "senior or geriatric" (>7 years of age) increased by approximately 50% between 1983 and 1995. A 2012 e-mail survey of 50,347 respondents revealed that 33.2% of dogs were 6 to 10 years of age and 14.7% were older than 11 years in the United States. The average life expectancy of dogs raised in the home is affected by health care, aging and nutrition.And, the aging process is influenced by breed size, genetics, nutrition, environment, and other factors. Although many pets remain active and youthful well into their teens, most dogs start to slow down and may show signs of aging beginning as early as 5 or 6 years of age. Improvements in the control of various diseases and in the nutrition of dogs have resulted in a gradual increase in the average lifespan of companion dogs. Nutritional goals for aging dogs include supporting health and vitality, preventing the onset or slowing the progression of age-related health disorders, and enhancing the dog's quality of life and, if possible, life expectancy. Aging brings with its physiologicchanges. Some changes are obvious, such as whitening of hair, a general decline in body and coat condition, and failing senses including sight and hearing. Other changes are less obvious, however, and these include alterations in the physiology of the digestive tract, immune system, kidneys, and other organs. Nutritional requirements can change with age. In addition, many diseases common in older dogs may be nutrient-sensitive, meaning that diet can play an important role in the management of the condition.

동물은 내친구는 '인간과 동물의 상호 이익적인 접촉방법을 개발 보급하여 인간의 건강과 복지 및 동물의 권익을 증진시킨다'는 슬로우건 아래, 1) 인간과 동물의 유대(Human-Animal Bond)에 대한 연구 및 교육, 2) 사회활동견/치료견 활동의 개발 보급, 3) 장애인을 위한 써비스견(맹인안내견, 청도견, 활동견, 치료견 등)의 육성 및 보급 등의 사업을 영리목적이 아닌 자원봉사운동 차원에서 수행함으로써 더불어 살아가는 복지국가 건설에 이바지한다.'는 취지로 결성된 단체입니다. 다음에 소개할 맹인 안내견 사업은 개를 통해 장애인과 비장애인을 연결해준다는 사회적 의미와 함께 $\ulcorner$동물은 내친구$\lrcorner$의 앞으로의 사업지표가 될 뿐아니라 현재 우리나라에서 맹인 안내견 사업을 진행하고 있는 분들의 홍보를 위해 수의사 여러분께 소개해 드리고자 합니다.

This paper presents the development of a mobile application that detects and identifies canine skin diseases by training a deep learning-based U-Net model to infer the presence and location of skin lesions from images. U-Net, primarily used in medical imaging for image segmentation, is effective in distinguishing specific regions of an image in a polygonal form, making it suitable for identifying lesion areas in dogs. In this study, six major canine skin diseases were defined as classes, and the U-Net model was trained to differentiate among them. The model was then implemented in a mobile app, allowing users to perform lesion analysis and prediction through simple camera shots, with the results provided directly to the user. This enables pet owners to monitor the health of their pets and obtain information that aids in early diagnosis. By providing a quick and accurate diagnostic tool for pet health management through deep learning, this study emphasizes the significance of developing an easily accessible service for home use.

In this paper, we propose a method of disease diagnosis system that can diagnose the health status of household pets for the people who lack veterinary knowledge. The proposed diagnosis system holds 50 different kinds of diseases with the symptoms for each of them as a database to provide results from symptom input. Each disease database has its own symptom codes for a disease, and by using the disease database, FCM clustering technique is applied to disease which outputs membership degree to determine diseases close to the input symptom as a pet diagnosis result. The implementation results of the proposed pet diagnosis system were obtained by the number of selected symptoms and the possibility values of the diseases that have the selected symptoms being sorted in descending order to derive top 3 diseases closest to the pet's symptom.
