In this study, an analysis is conducted to understand the effect of the cabin crew's image-making autonomy on job enthusiasm, service performance and organizational performance. And this is conducted on cabin crew members in airlines with autonomy based on image making standards and a total of 109 copies are used for final analysis. First, the image-making autonomy show significant positive (+) influence on all of the sub-factors of job enthusiasm such as job vitality, job commitment, and job commitment. Second, all sub-factors of job enthusiasm, job vitality, job commitment and job commitment show a significant positive (+) influence on service performance. Third, service performance show a significant positive (+) influence relationship on organizational performance. As a result, it is expected that airlines will be used as a basis for easing the regulations for image making of cabin crew and introducing an autonomous management system in the future.

A startup airline is motivating its flight attendants to do voluntary and effective safety behavior as well as setting up safety culture in its organization at the same time in the early stage of revenue-flight service due to the lack of flight operation experience compared to competing airlines. Based on the sample of flight attendants from a startup airline, this paper tried to perform empirical analysis which focused on relationship among safety leadership, safety motivation and safety behavior. According to empirical analysis, it was proven psychological resources had a significantly positive effect on work engagement. Work engagement is proven to have a significantly positive effect on both flight attendants' safety motivation and their safety work. It was also implied that flight attendants couldn't understand a contradictory attitude of their leaders because leaders had them focus on safety work engagement while not providing enough human resource and capital. In addition, it was found leader's excessive emphasizing safety policy might not result in flight attendants' safety behavior.

The issue of hotel energy use is growing more significant as the hotel industry expands. It is important to take into account the electrical installation and space-specific features in a room unit in order to comprehend the energy consumption of a hotel guestroom. In light of this, this study aimed to analyze standby power for enhancing the energy efficiency of a hotel guestroom during check-out status. This study was conducted in three steps: (i) data collection; (ii) analysis of energy consumption patterns; and (iii) analysis of energy efficiency improvement plan. The main findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, 32.24% of energy was used in fan coil unit) during check-out status. Second, a hotel guestroom had a 4.30% energy saving potential, based on energy consumption patterns during check-out status. This study can contribute to support hotel management to operate guestrooms differently by helping them identify patterns in energy use and realize potential savings.

교통수단으로서의 항공기 이용 고객의 증가로 인해 객실 내에서 제공되는 기내 서비스는 항공사의 경쟁력을 결정하는 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 그러나 현재와 같이 승무원이 비행 중 기내식 등의 서비스 제공을 위해 카트를 직접적으로 이동시키며 제공하는 서비스는 여러 불편한 요소로 인해 서비스의 질을 감소시킬 수 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 카메라 센서와 초음파 센서를 이용하여 기내에서 활용 가능한 서비스용 스마트 카트를 설계한다. 설계하는 스마트 카트는 승무원의 이동에 따라 대체 거리를 측정해 사용자와의 일정 거리를 유지하는 동시에 승객의 호출 신호에 따라 승객의 자리로 자동 이동하여 서비스 제공이 가능하게 하는 것을 목표로 한다. 기내 서비스용 스마트 카트는 승무원의 노동 강도 감소와 더불어 항공기 객실 서비스의 질적 향상에 기여할 뿐만 아니라 저가 항공사의 경비 절감에도 기여할 수 있다.

This article describes the air conditioning and control system of cabin which commertial aircrafts have adapted extensively upto now. Even though the aircrafts requires the study of the aerodynamics to produce the life in the air, most of internal system should utilize mechanical, electrical, and electronic system used on conventional appliances of industries. Therefore, all of industries are invited to pay more interest in this field aggressively and suggested to think the aircraft as a building simply moving in the sky.

In Korea, the interior design of urban electric railcar has been changed based on the requirements of railway operation company. However, most of the designs are similar to Japanese style owing to the Japanese technical cooperation in early stage of manufacturing in Korea. In order to present the direction of interior design of Korean electric railcar, we have investigated and analyzed the interior design of Japanese electric railcar.
