The Relationship among Child Care Teachers' Personal Characteristics, Resilience and Social Support (보육교사의 개인변인, 회복탄력성, 사회적 지지의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among child care teachers' personal characteristics, resilience, and social support. The subjects in this study were 154 child care teachers working in Gangwon province. The resilience questionnaire(Jung Hyun Lee, 2013) revised from KRQT-52(Korean Resilience Quotient Test) and the perceived social support scale(Lee Jae-Young, 2012) were used for this study. For the research analysis, frequency, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, and Pearson's correlation were calculated and ANOVA test, Scheff$\acute{e}$ post-hoc analysis, and regression analysis were conducted. The results are as follows. Firstly, it was revealed that child care teachers' experiences, age, marital status, and type of child care center had a statistically meaningful difference in resilience. In contrast, teachers' educational backgrounds did not have a meaningful difference in resilience. Secondly, all the sub-variables of teacher's perceived social support had a positive statistically significant correlation with all sub-variables of their resilience. Thirdly, physical support of child care teachers' perceived social support had statistically meaningful positive influences on the positive characteristics and the overall resilience. Also evaluative support of child care teachers' perceived social support had statistically meaningful positive influences on the interpersonal skills, self-regulation, positive characteristics, and the overall resilience of resilience. In conclusion, the results indicated that it is needed to strengthen child care teachers' perceived social support for enhancing resilience, taking into account the background characteristics of individual teachers.

Determinant of the Elderly Poverty Using Decision Tree Analysis (의사결정나무분석을 활용한 노인빈곤 결정요인 분석)

  • This study is to examine the determinants of the elderly poverty by using the Decision-tree analysis. In line with this perspective, this study includes individual characteristics, family characteristics, working characteristics, and periodic income characteristics after retirement as determinants for senior poverty. The study uses data from the Korean Retirement and Income Study based on panel survey and employs the Decision-tree analysis to explain the causes of the elderly poverty. As the result of analysis, earned wage has the greatest effect on the elderly poverty. Depending on status of the earned wage, there are 2 different variable groups. One with no earned wage includes public pension, education, and residence, paid employee and gender in the other with earned wage. Based on the analytical results, the study suggests measures to address the elderly poverty.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate 1) learner's satisfaction and perception on PBL 2) the relationship between learning styles and PBL preferences 3) the effects of decreasing communication apprehension through PBL. The results were as follows: 1) the students were satisfied with PBL and perceived positively on PBL 2) the students with high participative or cooperative learning styles were satisfied with PBL and perceived more positively on PBL, but those who had avoidant or dependent learning styles didn't perceive positively on PBL 3) the degree of communication apprehension in meeting was decreased significantly. We expect this research to be foundation in instructional design of PBL with individual differences

Effects of Stress Coping Strategy, Previous History, and Parental Preparation on Children's Memory of a Stressful Event (아동의 스트레스 대처 전략과 사전 경험의 질적 특성 및 부모의 준비성 정도가 아동 기억의 신뢰성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore linkages between stress and a range of individual difference factors on children's memory for a potentially stressful event. Children (N=63) aged from 4 to 10 years, who undergone a minor dental operative procedure were evaluated. Overall, the results of this study replicated and extended previous findings of the related literature, providing some further evidence for a negative relation between stress and children's recall. More considerable variation in individual difference variables, in particular, children 's stress coping strategies, quality of previous experiences, amount of the advanced parental preparation were existed among the children, influencing the relation between the level of stress and children's remembering of a stressful event. Future inquiries for understanding theoretical, clinical, and forensic issues in children's remembering of a stressful event were discussed.

Verifying the factors on fear of crime applying risk interpretation model (위험해석모형을 적용한 범죄두려움의 영향요인 검증)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the factors that affect the fear of crime by applying the risk interpretation model. Especially, whereas previous studies have not proven micro individual factor that the risk interpretation model had presented, This study includes micro individual elements such as neighborhood factor, perceived risk of crime, fears of crime as main variables. This study utilized secondary data of the National Crime Victimization Survey 2012, conducted by the Korean Institute of Criminology. In this study, multiple regression analysis of two stages and Sobel Test were conducted for verifying the individual influence of each independent variables and identifying the causal relationship between the variables set out in the risk analysis model. As the result, it appeared that the higher level of perceived risk of crime, neighborhood factor, crime experience, education, income cause the higher degree of the fear of crime. On the other hand, the lower degree of age was found to induce the higher level of the fear of crime. In addition, female showed the higher degree of the fear of crime than man. The causal relationship between the variables set out in the risk interpretation model was presented significantly in all variables, except for education.

  • Aggressive driving is defined as 'driving behavior which intentionally incurs danger and distress to other drivers and passengers'. It increases the possibility of traffic accidents. Also, it threatens lives of drivers ana passengers and brings social and economic harm. According to previous studies. these aggressive behaviors are affected by not only the personality of drivers but also psychosocial factors, such as attitude, aggressive intention, time pressure, and traffic situations, However, most studies on aggressive behaviors conducted with field studies and surveys suggest correlation, not causal relationship. Therefore, in the current study tue authors measured individual factors-the driver's intention for aggressive driving and manipulated time pressure-to examine the interaction effects. As a result. the difference between conditions was significant depending on the level of aggressive intention and time pressure. These differences were also significant depending on the types of aggressive driving behaviors. In particular, the interaction effect of the driver's intention and time pressure on improper passing (cutting drivers off when passing) was significant. Finally the limitations of the current study and implications or using a car simulator are discussed.

The Analysis of Difference in Software Education Teaching Efficacy according to Variables of In-service Elementary School Teachers (현직 초등 교사의 변인에 따른 소프트웨어 교육 교수효능감(SE-TE) 차이 분석)

  • In this study, we analyzed the differences of SW education teaching efficacy(SE-TE) according to variables such as gender, region, training experience, and attitude toward SW education. As a result, there was no difference according to the region, but there was statistically significant difference in the other variables. The correlation analysis and the regression analysis showed that the training experience and the attitude toward the SW education had the most correlation and explanatory power to the SE-TE. These results suggest that the training should be designed in order to enhance the teachers' SE-TE, to increase the opportunities of training, to provide continuous training, to operate the training hours efficiently, and to improve the teachers' personal SW education teaching efficacy.

Effects of Cognitive Resource on the Purchase Intention of Scarcity Products: the Moderating Effect of Need for Cognitive Closure (소비자의 인지적 자원이 한정 제품 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 인지적 종결욕구의 조절효과)

  • This study has examined the effect of cognitive resource on purchase intention of scarcity products according to the level of need for cognitive closure. In order to find out the effect on purchase intention for products that are presented a shopping environment is supposed, where various timing of consumer promotion reward exist, and where consumers can easily access and experience a lot of cognitive changes. the effect of how these two influences are adjusted according to the level of need for cognitive closure (NFCC). The study divide into two experiments. Research analyzes the behavioral differences of consumers for scarcity message products according to cognitive resource level with a moderating effect of NFCC. As a result of the study, Research according to the level of cognitive resource, when applied scarcity message product showed a negative effect of the cognitive resource (self-regulating resource) depletion level on the purchase intention of high-involvement product with scarcity message (Hypothesis 1). Consumers' purchase intention for limited products was higher at the non-depleted level than at the cognitive resource depletion level, and this difference was found statistically significant. Next, as a result of examining the difference according to the level of NFCC, the difference in the influence of cognitive resource level on purchase intention of scarcity products was found to be statistically significant where the NFCC was low (Hypothesis 2).

  • 4차 산업혁명과 관련하여 대두되는 핵심기술로 인공지능, 로봇, 빅데이터, 사물인터넷(IoT), 가상현실(VR)과 증강현실(AR), 자율주행자동차, 드론, 3D 프린팅, 블록체인 등을 들고 있다. 과거와 현재는 생산자가 최적의 비용으로 고성능 고품질 상품과 서비스를 제공했으나 4차 산업 혁명 시대는 소비자가 제품의 종류 및 특성, 생산 시점 등 전 과정에 관여하고 상품 자체보다 상품이 제공하는 가치를 중시하게 될 것으로 예상되고 있다. 이처럼 생산자 중심에서 소비자 중심으로 소비 트렌드가 변한 것은 AI, IoT, VR, 3D 프린팅 등 4차 산업혁명의 기술혁명이 지대한 기여를 했기 때문으로 볼 수 있다. 이처럼 다양한 제품과 서비스에서 새로운 유형의 소비자문제도 발생하고 기존의 소비자문제도 발생할 수 있으므로 이에 대한 체계적인 검토로 사전 예방적인 소비자정책과 사후구제의 소비자정책 모두 새롭게 정립해 두어야 한다. 사전예방적인 소비자정책으로는 (1) 위해방지, (2) 규격의 적정화, (3) 거래의 적정화, (4) 표시광고의 적정화, (5)소비자정보제공의 충실화 및 소비자능력의 향상을 위한 소비자교육의 강화, (6) 개인정보보호의 강화가 필요하다. 사후구제의 소비자정책으로는 (1) 소비자분쟁해결기준의 정비, (2) 피해구제 관련 법률의 제정이나 개정 등이 필요하다.
