A Study on Process-centered Behavioral Experience for Alternative Interpretation of Game Addiction (게임 중독의 대안적 해석을 위한 과정중심적 행위 경험에 대한 연구: 집단적 게임 이용을 중심으로)

  • This study examined how the use of co-game play, which implies specific behavioral condition, changes the influence and direction of the sensation seeking, gender, and identity stability, which are predictors on game addiction. The results of this study are as follows. First, sensation seeking had no significant effect on game addiction. However, the main effect of co-play on game addiction was confirmed. Second, the moderating effects of gender on co-play and game addiction were significant. It indicates that co-play has a greater impact on game addiction in female than male.

The Effects of Positive Psychological, Emotional Intelligence, and Cultural Orientation on Conflict Management : Focused on College Students Majoring in Applied Music (긍정심리자본, 감성지능, 문화성향이 갈등관리방식에 미치는 영향: 실용음악전공 대학생을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of positive psychological, emotional intelligence, and cultural orientation on conflict management in college students majoring in applied music. The research hypotheses were verified by correlation analysis and multivariate regression analysis. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 283 college students majoring in applied music. The findings are as follows. First, respondents with more positive psychological capital have chosen to use integration and compromise in conflict managements. In particular, self-efficacy has been found to have the greatest influence on integration and compromising, optimism on avoiding and obeying, and hope on dominating. Second, respondents with more emotional intelligence have chosen to use more integration and compromising, however they have chosen to use less avoiding and obeying in conflict managements. Particularly, others'emotional appraisal has been found to have the greatest influence on integration, obeying and compromising, self-emotional appraisal on avoiding, and regulation of emotion on dominating. Third, respondents with horizontal/vertical collectivism and horizontal individualism have intended to use integration and compromising in conflict managements, additionally horizontal individualism of cultural orientation has been found to have the greatest influence on integration and compromising, horizontal collectivism on obeying, vertical individualism on dominating, vertical collectivism avoiding.

  • 국내 통신서비스는 2000년 이후 유무선 인터넷을 중심으로 급성장을 해왔으나 기존 서비스에 대한 가입자 정체와 FTTH와 HSDPA, 와이브로를 중심으로 서비스 고도화 추세에 있다. 정체기와 전환기의 시장 특성이 나타나는 상황에서 통신사업자들은 자사 가입자를 유지하고 타사 가입자를 전환시키려는 마케팅 활동이 치열하게 전개되고 있다. 이에 통신소비자의 특성을 체계적으로 파악하는 것이 가입자 유지 및 전환활동의 관건이 된다. 본 글에서는 시장조사 결과를 바탕으로 초고속인터넷 이용시간, 이동전화 이용요금 수준, 이동전화 무선인터넷 이용여부, 모바일 브로드밴드 이용의향, 소비자의 혁신성향을 중심으로 현재 현안이 되고 있는 사항에 대해 국내 통신소비자의 개인 특성 및 서비스 이용 특성을 파악하고 시사점을 전개하고자 한다.

Analysis of the Influential Factors of Satisfaction in Political Communication -Focus on the Political Inclination and Media Usage- (정치적 소통 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 -정치적 성향과 미디어 이용을 중심으로-)

  • This study discusses on the influential factors of satisfaction in communication by focusing on the political communication phenomenon that is revealed in our society. The acts of political communication and its communication satisfaction are examined by exploring individuals' political inclination and their media usage which are the main influential factors of political communication. An interview survey was conducted on a thousand adults over the age of nineteen who are residing in sixteen cities and provinces nationwide. As a result, a high rate of online media usage was observed among people with progressive political inclination. It showed that the political communication acts of 'writing/communicating' which indicates ons actively posting their personal opinions, has a positive influence on communication satisfaction. On the other hand, the usage of offline media was dominant over people with conservative and neutral political inclination. A passive act of 'reading/watching,' which is to observe other people's opinions, was shown by most of the interviewees. Therefore, it was able to discuss that in order for a harmonious flow of political communication among our society, the understanding of citizens' political characteristic must be preceded and the differentiated political communication using media must be raised accordingly.

A Study on the Impact of Perceived Benefits of Subscription Services on Attitudes toward Subscription Services and Continued Intention of Subscription Services: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Innovativeness (구독 서비스의 지각된 혜택이 구독 서비스 태도와 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향 연구: 혁신성향의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study sought to determine the influence of perceived benefits of subscription services on attitudes toward subscription services and continued use intention of them. For this purpose, the perceived benefits of the subscription service were composed of perceived enjoyment and perceived usefulness, and the personal variable, innovativeness, was set as a control variable to examine its influence. As a result of the study, perceived benefits, such as perceived enjoyment and perceived usefulness, both showed a positive influence on attitude toward subscription services and continued use intention of them. The moderating effect of innovativeness on perceived usefulness was also confirmed. The influence of perceived usefulness on attitudes toward subscription services was found to be greater in groups with low innovation propensity than in groups with high innovativeness. These results provide implications about the value of personal characteristics for the continued use of subscription services.

  • 최근 첨단기술의 발달로 인해 기존의 생산업들보다 고 부가 가치를 이끌어 낼 수 있는 아이디어의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 점에서 창업은 참신한 아이디어로 고 부가 가치를 이끌어 낼 수 있다는 점에서 중요하다 할 수 있고 국가의 정책적으로도 많은 창업을 이끌어 내려는 노력이 이어지고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 창업 중 스포츠 창업의 분야에서 체육동호인의 개인적 특성 요인이 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하며, 이러한 관계에 창업에 대한 자기효능감 요인의 조절효과 영향에 대하여 밝히고자 한다. 창업의지의 결정 요인으로서 개인적 특성 요인과 네트워크 요인, 창업지원 인식 요인이 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였으며, 이 요인들은 창업효능감의 조절로 인하여 더욱 활동력이 강화될 것으로 보고 창업효능감의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 독립변수로 잠재적 창업자의 개인적 특성 요인(성취욕구, 위험감수성향, 혁신성), 네트워크 요인(온라인 교류, 오프라인교류), 창업지원 인식 요인(동호회 창업지원 인식, 정부 창업지원 인식), 조절변수로는 창업효능감, 종속변수로는 창업의지의 내용으로 연구모형을 구성하였다.

  • 최근 소셜 네트워크를 이용한 학습 방법이 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 동일한 영역에 지식을 공유하고 새로운 정보를 웹에서 생성하는 등 집단지성 학습자들이 계속적으로 늘어가고 있으며, 특히 IT 학습을 위한 온라인기반 교육은 관심도와 직군에 따른 집단지성을 통한 효과적인 학습 성취도를 높일 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 웹 기반을 중심으로 한 IT집단지성 학습자들의 개인차를 파악하고, 각 특성에 따른 다양성을 적용하여 학습과정 중 자신에게 적합한 학습경로를 파악하여 학습의 지속적인 진행에 있어 정확한 자료를 제공하고 효율적인 학습의 진행이 이루어져 성취도를 높일 수 있도록 학습 성취도 예측 시스템을 연구 개발하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 IT습자들이 자신의 개인차를 파악하기 위해 학습의 유형, 학습몰입, 인지적 능력, 개인적 성향, 창의적 성향 등을 활용한 검사도구의 개발이 선행되어야 한다. 다음으로, IT 전공자 혹은 비전공자를 대상으로 예비조사를 실시하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 학습 성취도 예측을 가능하게 하기위한 시스템을 설계하고자 한다. 향후 본 연구의 결과로 학습자의 학습 성취도를 향상시키고, 예측 결과에 의한 집단지성 그룹을 좀 더 효과적으로 운영 할 수 있는 시스템을 구축할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Why and Who Participate in Illegal Gambling?: The Psychological Characteristics of Illegal Gamblers (누가, 왜 불법도박을 할까?: 불법도박 경험 수준에 따른 심리적 특성)

  • The previous researches of gambling have been rather focused on the legal gambling industry and gambling addiction and ignored the issue of illegal gambling. But, illegal gambling in Korea has been continuously growing in its volume and the numbers of the relevant mental and social problems such as gambling addiction, crimes, suicides, and etc. have been increasing rapidly. The present study investigated the psychological characteristics of illegal gamblers with comparing gamblers who never experienced illegal gambling (NE), who experienced illegal gambling but participate mainly in legal gambling (EIG), and who participate mainly in illegal gambling (MIG). 1317 NEs, 177 EIGs, and 37 MIGs were recruited and completed an online survey that measured individual dispositions (risk-taking tendency, regulatory focus, locus of control), attitudes towards gambling regulations, misconception of illegal gambling, motives (monetary, excitement, socialization), and emotions. First, EIGs and MIGs, compared to NEs, preferred risk-taking, and EIGs were more promotion focused than NEs. Also, EIGs perceived illegal gambling as less illegal and tended to hold more misconceptions about illegal gambling, compared to NEs. Furthermore, EIGs and MIGs had stronger monetary and excitement motivation than NEs. Finally, MIGs were more likely to feel anxious than other groups. Focusing on the illegality of gambling, the characteristics of illegal gamblers are discussed and political implication on illegal gambling is suggested.

Security and Trust of Mobile Payment Apps : Focus on Personal Predisposition and Security Signal (모바일 결제 앱에서의 보안과 신뢰 : 개인의 성향과 보안 신호를 중심으로)

  • The mobile payment app market has been expanding recently. However, the usage rate of mobile payment apps is not meeting service providers' expectations due to concerns about security and privacy. This study investigated how personal predisposition and how the security signals of the payment app affect users' perceived privacy and security risks, and how these factors ultimately affect the trust of mobile payment apps. The results showed that privacy concerns increase the risk of perceived personal information leaks and reduce perceived mobile system security, while familiarity, perceived reputation, and assurance seal reduce the risk of perceived personal information leaks and increase perceived mobile system security. Finally, it revealed that the reduced risk of perceived personal information leaks and the increased security of mobile systems had a positive impact on the reliability of mobile payment apps.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the impacts of individual difference toward technology and situational influences on use intention of Self-Service Technology. While the previous research related to SSTs focuses on individual tendency toward technology, little research has been done on the impact of situational influences on usage intention of SSTs. This study proposed Technology Readiness Index for measuring individual tendency toward technology and categorized situational influences into two dimensions: location convenience, employee presence. The empirical testing of the research was conducted on 20' users who have prior experience in using SSTs except for ATMs in bank. This study demonstrated that the people who are favorable emotions positively affect SSTs. Also this study confirmed that it is effective to build strategies to form favorable attitude and usage intention of knowledge of SSTs rather than method through service employees. Finally, SSTs were distributed for customers.
