Design and Fabrication of RF evaluation board for 900MHz (900MHz대역 수신기용 RF 특성평가보드의 설계 및 제작)

  • A single RF transceiver evaluation board have been developed for the purpose of application to the 900MHz band transceiver contained RF-IC chip And environment test was evaluated. The RF-IC chipset includes LNA(Low Noise Amplifier), down-conversion mixer, AGC(Automatic Gain Controller), switched capacitor filter and down sampling mixer. The RF evaluation board for the testing of chipset contained various external matching circuits, filters such as RF/IF SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave) filter and duplexer and power supply circuits. With the range of 2.7~3.3V the operated chip revealed moderate power consumption of 42mA. The chip was well operated at the receiving frequency of 925~960MHz. Measurement result is similar to general RF receiving specification of the 900MHz digital mobile phone.

A Model of Storytelling Board Game based on Motif (모티프를 활용한 스토리텔링 보드 게임 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a storytelling board game model using cards, focusing on motif theory illustrated at , a type of software that supports story-making. First, the study categorizes storytelling board games into 4 types, then sets a development objective. Furthermore, after creating a 205 types of motif cards according to motif categorizing system, the study presents development model of both basic and expansion mode. The study aims to verify its game characteristics and elaborate its model through focus group tests henceforth.

  • 본 논문은 당사에서 개발한 5Mvar급 STATCOM(static synchronous compensator)의 제어 시스템에 대해 기술한다. 제작된 5Mvar급 STATCOM은 한 상당 12대의 HBI(H-Bridge Inverter)로 구성이 가능하도록 25-Level로 제작되었다. 제안된 제어시스템은 DSP(digital signal processor)를 이용하였으며, 하나의 Main Controller와 다수의 Cell Controller, FPGA 보드 등으로 구성되어 있다. Controller 간의 상호 정보를 교환하기 위해 eCAN 통신을 이용하였고, HBI의 스위칭을 위한 보드는 각각에 연결되어 있으며, Cell Controller보드와는 절연을 위해 광신호로 연결하였다. 본 논문에서는 개발한 제어시스템의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위한 실험을 진행하였다.

Storyboard Software Usage Frequency Ranking and Usability (스토리보드 소프트웨어의 사용빈도 순위와 사용성)

  • Due to the trend of shift to digitalization of the storyboard in 1990's, many a number of storyboard related softwares were born. With this change of trends, however, there was an undeniable lack of tangible data showing the advantage of such digitalization of the storyboard using software technology over conventional methods of doing the same job. In this study, therefore, we have selected the top five storyboard software suits in terms of their frequency in use and a sample group of 85 people to give an analysis on their usability. The result of this analysis revealed two underlying tendencies regarding this issue. Firstly, all of the five softwares selected lacked interactive presentational features, suggesting the directives for the next phase of software development. Secondly, our experiments in this study showed that the most prominent benefit of using the softwares is the higher efficacy in delivering necessary information through real-time based replays, rather than the digitalization of the contents themselves. We expect that the findings of our study would serve as a new model for future software enhancement for the developers. And for the users of such softwares, too, the findings of this study is expected to help them understand what kind of benefits they can expect as they use these storyboard softwares.

A Study on Insulation·Fire Proof Materials Using Silica Aerogels (실리카 에어로젤을 이용한 단열·내화재 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, silica aerogel-glass wool composites were developed for improvement of thermal conductivity and overcoming the water adsorption of glass wool boards. Silica aerogel-glass wool composites were prepared by glass wool and silica aerogel with liquid binder. Mixtures with binder were composed of CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose) and silica aerogel for glass wool board. Silica aerogel-glass wool composite boards were had $0.065g/cm^3$ density by impregnation silica aerogel where from origin glass wool board at $0.048g/cm^3$ density. Thermal conductivity of silica aerogel-glass wool composites were 0.0315 W/mK (up to 7.4% thermal resistance) and fire penetration time came to 362 seconds (up to 2.7 times stronger than origin glass wool board). In addition, hydrophobic aerogel characteristics prevented the adsorption of water onto silica aerogel-glass wool composite boards that was good for lightweight.

Extending VNC Server and Client for Sharing Clipboard Contents Composed of Text and Images (텍스트와 이미지로 구성된 클립보드 콘텐츠 공유를 위한 VNC 서버와 클라이언트의 확장)

  • VNC(Virtual Network Computing) is a desktop sharing system based on the RFB(Remote Framebuffer) protocol which allows you to control a remote computer running a VNC server through a VNC client(or viewer) on a local computer. To exchange information between the two computers, VNC provides the functionality of sharing the clipboard contents. Unfortunately, the current VNC softwares support only the clipboard text contents, not providing methods for sharing the clipboard multimedia contents such as images. In this paper, we extend the RFB protocol to share the clipboard contents composed of text and images. Also, to support the developed protocol. we extend both the UltraVNC server and the JavaViewer VNC client which are free open-source softwares. Through the developed VNC softwares, users can exchange the clipboard contents including texts and images between the remote computer and the local computer.

  • This experiment was carried out to improve the physical and mechanical properties of sawdust-board by combining with reinforce material, that is, plastic wire screen and steel wire screen. In experiment results, the density of sawdust-board reinforced with three steel wire screens was highest and its bending strength was also highest. Wastepaper-5% mixed sawdust-board showed as high bending strength as other boards, and therefore the possibility of using wastepaper as raw materials for boards. The sawdust-board with steel wire screen was not ruptured immediatedly after having been deformed by static loading. However, plywood showed higher bending strength than the reinforced sawdust-boards.

The First Korean-Made IT Convergence Electric Skateboard (한국 최초 IT융합 전기스케이트보드)

  • The rise of eco-friendly personal electric mobility is a worldwide trend and the first Korean-made IT convergence electric skateboard, Youth Board, is developed to lead the trend. Youth Board is remotely controllable using either Youth Wearable Controller or Youth App through Bluetooth v4.0 communication, can speed up to 25 km/hr, and operating time is approximately 1.5 hr. A LED display located in the front side of Youth Board deck shows three different states to a rider for user convenience: remaining battery SOC, current driving speed, and braking amount. Indoor EMC test results between Youth Board and Youth Wearable Controller and outdoor Youth Board driving test results are analyzed. In particular, driving test results show the maximum current output is about 15% lowered compared to the other competitor electric skateboard and it lessens the power burden of the motor ESC. These results show Youth Board's usefulness as a personal mobility in the sense of small, light, and inexpensive aspects.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented the DCS(Distributed Control System) terminal remote monitoring board for build total unified management system based wireless communication on automatic control system fields. Also, it tested and evaluated for check an usability and performance. The board monitored relay and fuse status at power management room real-time. Therefore, we expected economic effects extend relay life-time that pre-detected errors and prevented relay fault.

  • 디지탈 회로를 구현한 칩 및 보드의 시험 비용을 줄이기 위하여 사용되는 스캔 설계 기술 동향에 대하여 기술하였다. 스캔 설계 기술은 칩 수준에서 먼저 적용되기 시작하였다. 회로의 모든 플립플롭을 스캔할 수 있도록 하는 완전 스캔이 먼저 개발되었고, 최근에는 플립플롭의 일부분만 스캔할 수 있도록 하는 부분 스캔 기술이 활발하게 논의되고 있다. 한편 보드의 시험에 있어서도 보드에 실장되는 칩의 밀도가 증가되고, 표면 실장 기술이 일반화됨에 따라 종래의 시험 기술로는 충분한 시험을 거치는 것이 불가능하게 되었다. 따라서, 칩에 적용되던 기법과 유사한 스캔 설계 기술이 적용되기 시작하였다. 이를 경계 스캔(Boundary Scan)이라고 하는데, 이 기술은 80년대 후반부터 본격적으로 논의되기 시작하였다. 1990년에는 이 기술과 관련된 IEEE의 표준이 제정되어 더욱 많이 적용되는 추세에 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 칩 및 보드의 시험을 쉽게하기 위한 스캔 설계 기법의 배경, 발전 과정 및 기술의 내용을 소개한다.
