The purpose of this study is to broaden the understanding of the Security Services Industry Act, and also to examine the meanings of various phenomena by analyzing the media report big data rather than the researchers' perspective on the Security Services Industry Act. In the research method, this study searched for a keyword 「Security Services Industry Act」 that prescribes the security work as an important subject of crime prevention and maintenance of public order in Korea. The data was searched from 1990 to 2021 the BIG KINDS could provide. Also, for the concrete analysis during the period of data search, it was divided into settlement period(1976~2001), growth period-quantitative(2002~2012), and growth period-qualitative(2013~2021). In the results of this study, the media report perception of the Security Services Industry Act is continuously emphasizing the social roles and importance of private security according to the flow of time. The consequent marketability of private security will play great roles in the protection of people's lives and properties in the combination with various other industries in the future. However, the private security industry that provides public peace service together with the police, could be rising as an element that hinders the development of private security industry because of various social issues caused by legal regulations and illegal problems, so it would be necessary to more strengthen its responsibility and roles accordingly.

This study suggests a theoretical model of information literacy instructions in the context of the Extended Essay included in IB(International Baccalaureate) Diploma Program Core. The study particularly analyzed I-LEARN model as a model to teach and learn with information for inquiry-based learning since the model was developed for the purpose of learning with information. Some school districts in Korea adapted IB programs to address the need for better education. Findings indicate the followings. First, students can achieve deep understanding by applying a model of information literacy instructions that provides scaffolding. Second, the expected roles of school librarians in information literacy instructions for Extended Essay are process specialists, teachers, and instructional partners. Third, I-LEARN model is appropriate as a framework to teach information literacy skills for inquiry needed for Extended Essay. Fourth, I-LEARN assessment rubric is useful in assessing the process and outcomes of students' information seeking and use. Implications include that school librarians should develop themselves as experts in information literacy instructions for inquiry-based learning such as Extended Essay, and that Korean schools recognize the crucial role of school librarians in teaching information literacy skills for inquiry-based learinng.

The purpose of this study is to compare the differences in the subjective quality of life (QoL) perceived by residents in different settlement spaces such as urban vs. rural and Seoul Capital Area (SCA) vs. Non-Capital Area (NCA). Using the data of the 'Quality of Life Satisfaction Survey for Balanced Development' conducted nationwide by the Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development in 2018, a propensity score matching method was introduced to compare the differences between the types of settlement spaces. The results show that no significant difference is found between all the types in satisfaction with local life, and in the case of happiness, rural residents show a higher level than those living in cities. Looking at the quality of life by QoL domain, the QoL of urban residents in SCA is generally the highest in the basic living environment, medical care, and culture/leisure domains, while the QoL of rural residents in the job/income, environment, community, and welfare domains is higher than that of residents of SCA and NCA cities. Interestingly, in no domains NCA cities show their relative strength. These results show the value of rural areas in the face of increasingly prevailing urbanization trends, and suggests that the value of rural areas must be strengthened for rural development. It is necessary to pursue policy efforts such as rural regeneration based on spatial planning in order to respond to the disorganized development that damages the value of the rural environment and landscape and to harmoniously maintain and develop the rural settlement.

Although glutathione (GSH) has been shown to play an important role in the prevention of oxidative damage as an antioxidant, studies on immune regulation by it have not been properly conducted. In this study, we investigated whether luthione^®, a reduced GSH, has an immune enhancing effect in murine macrophage RAW 264.7 cells. The results of flow cytometry and immunofluorescence experiments indicated that luthione increased phagocytic activity, a representative function of macrophages, compared to the control cells. According to the results of the cytokine array, the expression of interleukin (IL)-5, IL-1β, and IL-27 was significantly increased in the luthione-treated cells. Luthione also enhanced the production of tumor necrosis factor-α and IL-1β through increased expression of their proteins, and increased release of the immune mediators such as nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E₂ was associated with increased expression of inducible NO synthase and cyclooxygenase-2. In addition, the expression of cluster of differentiation 86, an M1 macrophage marker, was dramatically enhanced in RAW 264.7 cells treated with luthione. Furthermore, as a result of heat map analysis, we found that cytokine signaling 1/3-mediated signal transducer and activator of transcription/Janus tyrosine kinase signaling pathway was involved in the immunomodulatory effect by luthione. In conclusion, our data suggested that luthione could act as a molecular regulator in M1 macrophage polarization and enhance immune capacity by promoting macrophage phagocytic function.

This study was conducted to understand the emotional and situational context where non-suicidal self-injury occurs in everyday life. Sixty adults(age 19-35) completed daily surveys assessing positive and negative emotions, stressful events, self-injury thoughts, and behaviors for two weeks. Using a total of 663 collected entries, we analyzed specific personal emotions and stressful events related to non-suicidal self-injurious thoughts and behaviors. As a result, high negative emotions, low positive emotions, and total stress event scores were significantly related to self-injury thoughts and behaviors. In the model in which both emotion and stress were inserted as predictors, the low level of positive emotion showed a significant related to non-suicidal self-injurious behavior. These results suggest that negative emotion management and overall positive emotion reinforcement are important in emotion regulation intervention for non-suicidal self-injurious patients. The meaning of this study is that it searched for risk factors of non-suicidal injury in everyday life using a short-term longitudinal method.

Since small and medium-sized enterprises fell short of the securement of technological competitiveness in the field of big data and artificial intelligence (AI) field-core technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it is important to strengthen the competitiveness of the overall industry through technology commercialization. In this study, we aimed to propose a priority related to technology transfer and commercialization for practical use of public research results. We utilized public research performance information, improving missing values of 6T classification by deep learning model with an ensemble method. Then, we conducted topic modeling to derive the converging fields of big data and AI. We classified the technology fields into four different segments in the technology portfolio based on technology activity and technology efficiency, estimating the potential of technology commercialization for those fields. We proposed a priority of technology commercialization for 10 detailed technology fields that require long-term investment. Through systematic analysis, active utilization of technology, and efficient technology transfer and commercialization can be promoted.

In the major wars of the 21century, attack drones are used for precision fire-guided or self-destruct attacks, For the purpose of cognitive warfare, its territory is expanding not only to land and air, but also to sea and water. These attack drones will perform multi-domain operations, and for this purpose, the level of autonomy will be improved and High-Low Mix We will continue to develop by strengthening concept-based scalability. North Korea has also been making considerable efforts to operate attack drones for a long time, and activities such as third-country-level self-explosive drones, artificial intelligence-based clustered self-explosive drones, and self-destructive stealth unmanned semi-submersible are expected. In addition to North Korea's provocations and attacks, it is hoped that there will be a need for active follow-up research on our military's countermeasures and utilization plans.

This study identified cooperative governance status and performance and proposed policy implications for the local tourism association, which participated by a variety of stakeholders. This study is a case study and in-depth interview survey was conducted on the staff, members of the local tourism association and local government officers. As a result of the analysis, the community's desire to foster tourism and the county head's leadership influenced the establishment process. It was analyzed that the interests of participants in the local tourism association and the benefits they expected were varied. Members have been unable to participate in the operation of the association and the mutual exchanges of the members have not been active. The leadership and professionalism of the Secretariat has contributed to stabilizing the organization, and it has been shown that it needs to secure self-sustaining power through its own profit projects in the future. The Goryeong Tourism Association serves as a private local tourism promotion organization, carrying out the successful hosting of the festival and attracting tourists. In the future, however, it is necessary to strengthen cooperative networks, autonomous participation of stakeholders and cooperative coordination of interests in relation to the operation of tourism councils as collaborative governance.

Salt stress is a significant factor limiting growth and productivity in crops. However, little is known about the response and resistance mechanism to salt stress in maize. The objective of this research was to develop an enhanced salt-tolerant silage maize by mutagenesis with gamma radiation. To generate gamma radiation-induced salt-tolerant silage maize, we irradiated a KS140 inbred line with 100 Gy gamma rays. Salt tolerance was determined by evaluating plant growth, morphological changes, and gene expression under NaCl stress. We screened 10 salt-tolerant maize inbred lines from 2,248 M₂ mutant populations and selected a line showing better growth under salt stress conditions. The selected 140RS516 mutant exhibited improved seed germination and plant growth when compared with the wild-type under salt stress conditions. Enhanced salt tolerance of the 140RS516 mutant was attributed to higher stomatal conductance and proline content. Using whole-genome re-sequencing analysis, a total of 328 single nucleotide polymorphisms and insertions or deletions were identified in the 140RS516 mutant. We found that the expression of the genes involved in salt stress tolerance, ABP9, CIPK21, and CIPK31, was increased by salt stress in the 140RS516 mutant. Our results suggest that the 140RS516 mutant induced by gamma rays could be a good material for developing cultivars with salt tolerance in maize.

Brand is the major enduring asset of a company and more valuable than the totality of specific products and facilities. Thus brands are powerful assets that must be carefully developed and managed. The company should design and implement marketing activities and marketing communication programs to build and grow the brand value. Strarbucks, Samsung Galaxy, and Nike brands get a price premium and generate strong customer loyalty. A power brand has high brand equity, which is the differential effect that brand knowledge has on consumer response to the marketing of that brand. Brand equity is created when brands have strong, favorable and unique brand associations with customers and high level of brand awareness. Therefore marketers in building a strong brand should ensure to develop the right type of customer experiences with products and effective integrated marketing communication(IMC) programs to create the brand equity. Since 2007 Sinhan card acquiring the LG card has developed the new brand identity and carefully managed the advertising campaign and other marketing communication mix tools to create the high brand awareness and differential brand image. In this case study we examine how Sinhan card with the goal of being No.1 brand in the credit card market has developed and implemented the IMC Strategy to build a high level of consumer brand awareness, unique brand image and strong customer relationship.
