A Study on the Influence of Sentiment and Emotion on Review Helpfulness through Online Reviews of Restaurants (레스토랑의 온라인 리뷰를 통해 감성과 감정이 리뷰 유용성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Sentiment represents one's own state through the process of change to stimulus, and emotion represents a simple psychological state felt for a certain phenomenon. These two terms tend to be used interchangeably, but their meaning and usage are different. In this study, we try to find out how it affects the helpfulness of reviews by classifying sentiment and emotion through online reviews written by online consumers after purchasing and using various products and services. Recently, online reviews have become a very important factor for businesses and consumers. Helpful reviews play a key role in the decision-making process of potential customers and can be assessed through review helpfulness. The helpfulness of reviews is becoming increasingly important in practice as it is utilized in marketing strategies in business as well as in purchasing decision-making issues of consumers. And academically, the importance of research to find the factors influencing the helpfulness of reviews is growing. In this study, Yelp.com secured reviews on restaurants and conducted a study on how the sentiment and emotion of online reviews affect the helpfulness of reviews. Based on the prior research, a research model including sentiment and emotions for online reviews was built, and text mining analyzes how the sentiment and emotion of online reviews affect the helpfulness of online reviews, and the difference in the effects on emotions It was verified. The results showed that negative sentiment and emotion had a greater effect on review helpfulness, which was consistent with the negative bias theory.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 고객의 특정 감성을 유발할 수 있는 전자 상거래 시스템 사용자 인터페이스의 설계 방안 모색에 있다. 이를 위해 가상 은행 시스템의 사용자 인터페이스에 대해 모두 네 단계에 걸친 실증 연구를 수행하였다. 제1단계 실증 연구는 가상 은행과 관련된 제반 감성 요소를 충실하게 측정할 수 있는 감성 어휘들을 추출하는데 목적이 있었다. 제2단계의 실증 연구는 사용자 관점에서 중요하게 지각되는 시각적인 디자인 요소 파악이 주 목적이었다. 제3단계 실증 연구에서는 감성 요소와 디자인 요소 간의 상관 관계를 파악하였고, 최종적으로 제4단계의 실증 연구에서는 실험용 가상 은행 인터페이스를 개발하여 감성 요소와 디자인 요소 간의 상관 관계를 검증하였다. 본 연구 결과 사용자 인터페이스 내의 특정 시각 디자인 요소의 조작을 통해서 신뢰감과 같은 고객의 감성 유발에 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 사실이 입증되었다. 본 논문은 끝으로 이러한 연구 결과의 일반적인 전자 상거래 시스템 고객 인터페이스 구축 과정에의 적용 가능성을 타진한다.

Analysis of Emotional Intelligence Affected by Medical Institution Members on Job Satisfaction and Self-Efficacy (의료기관 구성원이 직무만족도와 자기효능감에 느끼는 감성지능의 영향 분석)

  • In this study, we would like to confirm the impact of emotional intelligence perceived by members of medical institutions on job satisfaction and the mediating effect of self-efficacy. To test the hypothesis of the study, a survey was conducted on members of medical institutions (excluding doctors) in Gyeonggi Province, and statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 22.0. First of all, the research results showed a positive impact only on use of emotion among the sub-factors of emotional intelligence in the impact relationship between emotional intelligence perceived by members on self-efficacy. Second, in the impact relationship of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction, which is a sub-factor of emotional intelligence, self-emotion appraisal, others' emotion appraisal, regulation of emotion, and use of emotion all showed positive effects. Third, the effect of members' self-efficacy on job satisfaction was also positive, and fourth, the mediating effect of self-efficacy between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction was also confirmed. Therefore, programs to improve members' emotional intelligence and self-efficacy are introduced and institutional needs are required.

  • 본 연구에서는 기업의 경영이념이나 특성 등을 시각적 이미지로 표현하는 CI(Corporate Identity) 심벌마크의 설계 및 평가를 위해 Hybrid 감성공학기법을 적용하였다. 먼저, CI 심벌마크에 내재된 기업의 시각적 이미지를 분석하기 위하여 SD평가를 실시하였으며 CI 심벌마크의 디자인 요소와 기업이미지와의 상관관계를 분석하기 위하여 정통적인 감성공학적 접근방식에 해당하는 순향성 감성공학기법을 적용하였다. 최종적으로는 CI 심벌마크의 디자인 요소로부터 기업이미지에 대한 고객의 감성을 자동으로 평가할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 역향성 감성공학기법을 적용하였다. 구축된 시스템은 CI 심벌마크의 설계를 지원함으로써 설계에 소요되는 시간과 비용을 효과적으로 줄일 수 있는 유용한 도구로 장차 이용되리라 기대된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of emotional intelligence on the relationship between internal entrepreneurship and individual adaptation performance and to analyze empirically the effect of supportive leadership on the relationship between internal entrepreneurship and individual adaptation performance. In order to do this, we conducted a questionnaire survey of employees in Busan Metropolitan Economic Area in September 2018 (for convenience, graduates of Pusan National University Business School and employees of local companies among current students). As a result, the mediating effect of emotional intelligence and the moderating effect of supportive leadership were verified in the relation between entrepreneurship and individual 's adaptation performance.

The Effects of Emotional Leadership on Innovative Behavior in Public Organizations -The Mediating Effect of Job Engagement- (공공조직에서 감성리더십이 혁신행동에 미치는 영향 -직무열의의 매개효과를 중심으로-)

  • This study investigated the relationship between emotional leadership with innovative behavior and job engagement, and verified the mediating effect of job engagement in order to facilitate theoretical and practical development of emotional leadership. For empirical analysis, data were collected from the sample of 260 employees of public institutions. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 to verify the hypothetical relationship. Results showed that emotional leadership was positively related to job engagement but not innovative behavior. Job engagement was positively related to innovative behavior. And further, job engagement is found as playing as a positively full mediator on the relationship between emotional leadership and innovative behavior. These results confirmed that the job engagement of the members formed by emotional leadership in public organizations, such as general companies, has a positive influence on innovative behavior. Finally, limitations were indicated and some possible directions for Innovative behavior and its relationship were suggested for future studies.
