The result shows that frequency of system usage and users' satisfaction are positively affected by the factors of business environment, organizational structure and information-technology. The user satisfaction of the system is affected by the frequency of system usage. Both financial performance and non-financial performance are affected by the frequency of the systems usage and user satisfaction of the system. With path analysis, we verified the overall model goodness-of-fit verified for the research model. The result shows that organization structureand technological factors are positively related to the frequency of usage and user satisfaction of the system, while the environmental factors are not. The frequency of system usage is not linked to both financial and non-financial performance. The user satisfaction of the system does not affected to the financial performance. In conclusion, the usage frequency and user satisfaction of the system are the moderating variables affecting business performances. These two variables are affected by the environment, organization structure and information technology. The Path analysis also supports the relationships among these variables.

Data were analyzed through t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression using SAS. Results: 1. The item that showed the highest level of burden was 'I feel limited even if I make efforts to reduce patients' pain. 'Burden was high in those group both who were younger than 35 years old and who had clinical experiences caring cancer patients for $3{\sim}4$ years. 2. The item that showed the lowest level of job satisfaction was 'the possibility of promotion'. Job satisfaction was high in those group both who had a spouse and were head nurses or incharge nurses. 3. The item that showed the lowest level of quality of life was 'I am physically exhausted'. • The purpose of this study was to investigate relations among the quality of life, health states, physical functions, cognitive functions, and social supports of the elderly at care facilities. The subjects include the elderly that were living in care facilities in some urban areas and aged 65 or older. The data of total 260 old people were used in analysis. Collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The elderly at care facilities, who were considered as physically and cognitive vulnerable, scored higher means on quality of life when they were satisfied with the length of stay and sleeping state, had higher subjective health states, had no tooth inconvenience and forgetfulness, suffered from a lower level of depression, had better cognitive functions, and received higher social supports. Quality of life had correlations with the sleeping state(r=-.20, p<.001), subjective health state(r=-.24, p<.001)s, depression(r=-.30, p<.001), and social supports(r=.30, p<.001). Social supports(${\beta}=.30$, p<.001), depression(${\beta}=-.25$, p<.001), subjective health states(${\beta}=-.22$, p<.001), length of stay(${\beta}=-.22$, p<.001), and sleeping state(${\beta}=-.12$, p=.025) turned out to predict the quality of life of the elderly at care facilities and have close relations with it. In short, the quality of life of the elderly is related to many different factors at care facilities. The findings indicate that nursing interventions and managements for quality of life require a mental and social approach or a whole person approach with a focus on the understanding of individual senior citizens rather than on physical activities and diseases.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceived difficulties during both pre-treatment period and admission period for radioactive iodine therapy (RAIT), the level of information about RAIT provided by medical staffs and the satisfaction of RAIT process in thyroid cancer patients receiving RAIT. Participants were 165 thyroid cancer patients, who had total thyroidectomy and had been offered RAIT. The data were collected using structured questionnaire and open-ended questions and analyzed by descriptive statistics and content analysis. The most frequent perceived difficulties of RAIT was associated with thyroid specific symptoms during both pre-RAIT period and RAIT admission period(38.2% vs 43.0%). The rating of RAIT information provided by medical staffs was evaluated as over moderate level(mean $3.63{\pm}0.80$). The RAIT process satisfaction was investigated as moderate level(mean $6.43{\pm}2.21$). the satisfaction of RAIT was the highest in medical attention and coping procedure (mean $7.64{\pm}2.37$) however it was the lowest in adequacy of RAIT information(mean $5.67{\pm}2.78$). Thus the nursing intervention program for thyroid cancer patient undergoing RAIT should be developed to support needs of thyroid cancer patients related to thyroid specific symptoms and to improve patients' understanding about RAIT procedure so that patients have competence to participate in therapeutic activities efficiently.

  • The purpose of this study was to review the literature and examine the effects on non-pharmacological depression intervention for middle-aged women in Korea. This systematic review analyzed the literature from 2006 to September, 2015. The existing literature was searched in the electronic databases in RISS, KISS and DBPia using the following key words: middle-aged women and depression, menopause and depression, climacterium and depression. Two hundred eighty studies were found through the database. According to PICOTS-SD, twelve studies were included for analysis. Among the twelve studies, four studies were conducted in the nursing field. Six studies were randomized controlled trials. Aerobic exercise, laughter therapy, meditation, aroma massage, counseling and art therapy were performed as non-pharmacological interventions for depression in Korean middle-aged women. The length of each session ranged from 20 to 120 minutes. The intervention period varied from 2 to 24 weeks, and the total number of the interventions ranged from 8 to 72 times. • This study analyzed the relationship between communication perception and job performance in general hospital nurses in order to provide basic data for efficient personnel and hospital management. For this purposes, data were collected from August 5 to 23, 2019, targeting 392 nurses from 14 general hospitals in Gwangju and Jeonnam and t-test, variance analysis, post hoc analysis, Correlations analysis and multi-regression analysis were conducted. In analyzing the differences between demographical and health characteristics and job performance, there were statistically significant differences in age, working years, salary, satisfaction, locations, health status, health education, chronic diseases and depression. In respect to communication perception and job performance of nurses, age of 30 and job satisfaction (moderate satisfaction and dissatisfaction) had a negative effect, locations had a positive effect, and horizontal communication had the greatest effect on job performance. There was a relation between downward, informal and upward communication and job performance, and the determination coefficient was 45.2%. Based on these results, this study suggested that for higher job performance, we should improve working environment, enhance job satisfaction, organize nursing organization culture with active horizontal, downward, informal and upward communication and develop an efficient personnel management system.
