Simple Design of Seepage Flow (침투류 간편설계)

  • After investigating the basic problems of seepage flow, the friction factor equation of power form was developed for solving them. The use of power law for the estimation on friction factor enabled to develop the explicit form of equations without any iteration process being related to various non-dimensional physical numbers. For the derivation of friction factor equations, the existing data were re-analyzed, and the simple method of seepage flow design was devised with the power law equations for the estimation of slope, discharge, and diameter.

  • Stock(1992) had developed the graph for solving the penetration depth, tieforce of anchor and maximum bending moment of sheet-pile wall for cantilever and free earth supported anchored wall. Kim(1995) had developed graph for design of fixed earth supported anchored wall. In this paper, the simplified formulas for calculating the penetration depth, tieforce of anchor and maximum bending moment of sheet-pile wall was developed for fixed earth supported anchored wall in sand. The developed formulas may be helpful for design or sheet pile wall.

  • P-${\Delta}$ analysis by use of the equivalent colurnn stiffness determined by Momcnt curvature-Thrust curves provides relatively precise analytical results for unbraced reinforced concrete columns, however it needs a complicated arialytical procedure. Equ~valent col~rnn stiffness equations are proposed for a simple analytical procedure which are ckterrnined by the Moment-Curvature Thrust curves of the practically useable sections. Thc proposed stiffness equations are appiled to P-${\Delta}$ analysis and rnornent magnifier method to compare with the selected test result. Use of the proposed stiffness equations may slrnplify the P-${\Delta}$ i.rialvtica1 procedure and improve the accuracy of moment magnifier niethod.

Evaluation of Quality Characteristics of Rice to Select Suitable Varieties for Porridge (간편식 죽 제조용 적합 품종 선정을 위한 쌀의 품질 특성 평가)

  • This study undertook to evaluate the quality characteristics of rice, to select a variety suitable for porridge. Seven varieties of rice were studied: Dabo, Daebo, Samkwang, Sindongjin, Sukwang, Jinsumi and Haiami were investigated for proximate contents and physicochemical characteristics. The moisture and crude protein contents of the rice cultivars were in the range 11.26-12.66% and 5.34-6.47%, respectively. The amylose content was the highest in the Samkwang (20.83%), and lowest in Haiami (18.32%). The water binding capacity and solubility of Samkwang and Jinsumi cultivars were greater than those of the other samples. Hardness of rice and viscosity of porridge was the least in Samkwang and Sukwang. The pH of porridge in Samkwang and Jinsumi (7.04) was higher than the other varieties (6.80-7.03). The results of this study indicate that Samkwang and Jinsumi are suitable varieties for porridge. We expect this data will be useful in the manufacturing of porridge.

  • In this study, we investigated subjective perceptions of one retailer's PB products for large retailers by applying the Q methodology to examine subjective trends of consumers who purchased and experienced PB products at home. In this study, we examine how HMR-type PB products developed and released by large retailers according to the demographically changing social structure represent the meaning and subjective acceptance of PB products in a single licensee through Q methodological studies. The purpose of this paper is to propose various direction and improvement plan of food product development and release for one license of large distribution company in the future. Based on these research problems, five types of type analysis results were derived. Specifically, the first type (N = 5): Brand image trust type, the second type (N = 5): NB product preference type, the third type(N = 2): Easy cooking preference type, and fourth type (N = 2): Pursuing taste for price type and fifth type (N = 2): Quantitative pursuit for price type.

  • 국내에는 약 14,000개의 중 소규모의 저수지들이 있다. 최근에 이상기후로 인한 많은 강우가 발생하여 저수지들의 월류나 파이핑으로 인한 붕괴가 지속적으로 일어나고 있어 많은 인명 및 재산피해가 발생하고 있다. 특히 설계홍수량을 초과하는 월류로 인한 댐 붕괴 발생 시 피해규모가 크기 때문에 전국적으로 본포되어 있는 저수지들의 설계홍수량을 시급히 파악하여 저수지의 수문학적 안전성을 판단하고 설계홍수량이 작은 저수지의 경우 별도로 관리 할 수 있어야 한다. 하지만 기존에 저수지의 안전여부를 판단 할 수 있는 댐 붕괴 모의의 경우 많은 시간과 노력이 요구 되어 저수지의 안전여부를 보다 쉽고 빠르게 판단 할 수 있는 기준 마련이 시급히 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 보다 쉽고 빠르게 소규모저수지의 수문학적 안전성 평가를 할 수 있는 간편법에 대하여 연구 하였다. 연구 방법은 HEC-HMS을 이용한 댐 붕괴와 본 연구에서 제시한 간편법을 통하여 홍수량의 비교 검토 및 저수지의 수문학적 안전성을 평가를 하였다. HEC-HMS의 첨두홍수량은 빈도별 지속시간별 확률강우량을 이용하여 산정하였으며, 가능최대홍수량(PMF)은 실제호우전이법으로 산정한 가능최대강수량(PMP)을 이용하였다. 간편법의 첨두홍수량은 합리식과 통합형 강우강도식을 이용하여 산정하였고, 가능최대홍수량(PMF)은 Creager공식을 이용하여 산1)정하였다. 댐 붕괴의 경우 HEC-HMS에서는 댐 붕괴 모듈을 실행하여 모의를 하였고, 간편법의 댐 붕괴는 여수로의 한계 유출을 파악할 수 있는 위어공식을 이용하여 댐 붕괴 모의를 하였다. 마지막으로 산정된 첨두홍수량과 가능최대홍수량(PMF)을 작성된 수문학적 안전성 평가표에 기입하여 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과 HEC-HMS로 산정한 빈도별 첨두홍수량 가능최대홍수량(PMF)과 간편법으로 구한 빈도별 첨두 홍수량 가능최대홍수량(PMF)의 차이는 약 편차가 50%정도로 간편법으로 구한 첨두홍수량 가능최대홍수량(PMF)이 더 크게 산정되었다. 편차의 발생 이유는 본 연구에서 제시한 간편법의 경우 안전율을 고려한 경험공식을 사용하였기 때문이라고 판단되며, 간편법을 통한 소규모저수지의 수문학적 안전성 평가를 다른 대상지역의 소규모저수지에도 적용하여 보고 수문학적 평가방법이 올바르게 적용 될 수 있는지 확인이 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 이러한 점에 대처하고 얇은 림 내접치차의 이뿌리응력을 해석, 이 결과를 종합하여 얇은 림 내접치차의 이뿌리응력을 간편하게 계산할 수 있는 근사 계산식을 작성한다. 또 스트레인게이지에 의한 이뿌리응력의 실측치와 이계산식에 의한 계산응력치를 비교검토하여 이 계산식의 계산정밀도 및 신뢰성을 검토하기로 한 다.

  • The use of roadheaders has been increasing to mitigate the problems of noise and vibration during tunneling operations in urban area. Since lack of experience of roadheader for hard rock, the selection of appropriate machines and the evaluation of cutting rates have been challenging. Currently, empirical models developed overseas are commonly used to evaluate cutting rates, but their effectiveness has not been verified for domestic rocks. In this paper, a comprehensive literature review was conducted to assess the rock cutting force, cutterhead capacity, and cutting rate to select the appropriate machine and evaluate its performance. The cutterhead capacity was reviewed based on the literature results for the site. Furthermore, a new empirical model and simplified method for predicting cutting rates were proposed through data analysis in relation to operation time and rock strength, and compared with those of the conventional model from the manufacturer. The results show good agreement for high strength range upper 80 MPa of uniaxial compressive strength.

Evaluating Choice Attributes of Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup as a Home Meal Replacement (HMR) Product Using Conjoint Analysis: A Case Study of Singapore Market (컨조인트 분석을 이용한 삼계탕 간편가정식의 선택속성 분석: 싱가포르 시장을 중심으로)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the attributes considered important by Singaporeans in the selection of Korean ginseng chicken soup as an HMR product using conjoint analysis techniques. Methods: A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed to local consumers in April 2012, of which 324 were completed (81.0%). Statistical analyses of data were performed using SPSS/Windows 18.0 for descriptive statistics and conjoint analysis. Results: Analysis of the attributes and levels of Korean ginseng chicken soup as an HMR product for people who lived in Singapore showed the relative importance of each attribute as follows: packing (32.4%), chicken (32.1%), glutinous rice (13.8%), soup (11.6%), and ginseng (10.0%). Results showed that Singaporean consumers preferred code J's Korean ginseng chicken soups as an HMR product, which consisted of half a chicken, glutinous rice, a whole ginseng root in a soy sauce-based soup, and a partially transparent package. The most preferred Korean ginseng chicken soup gained 50.4% potential market share from choice simulation when compared with the second preferred one. Conclusion: This study has significance in that such a practical research contributes to product development of a specific Korean dish for foreign consumers. In addition, the results of this study provide useful information for the food industry for global expansion and commercialization of Korean food, thereby providing an important foundation for future development of various Korean foods as HMR products.
