Influence of Job Stressors on Flourishing and Job Engagement: Comparison Between Head Office Personnel and Foreign Subsidiary Personnel (직무스트레스 요인이 번영과 직무열의에 미치는 영향: 해외진출 기업의 국내 인력과 해외 현지법인 현지 인력 간의 비교 연구)

  • This study aims to verify culture-universal invariances and culture-particular differences in the relationship of job stress, flourishing, and job engagement. For this purpose, we selected a global korean company having a local corporation in China in order to minimize the influence of organizational factor and a self-report questionnaire survey was conducted by 141 personnels of head office and 107 personnels of chinese branch. At first, the mediating effect of flourishing on the relationship between job stress and job engagement was significant for both korean and chinese personnel. Second, regression analyses were conducted in order to demonstrate influence of detailed job stress on flourishing and job engagement. As for flourishing, decision making and responsibility factor was significant for korean personnel, and lack of social support factor and job characteristic factor were significant for chinese personnel. Regarding job engagement, lack of social support factor and job characteristic factor were significant for both two samples and decision making and responsibility factor was significant for korean personnel whereas non-significant for chinese personnel. The results could give a meaningful perspectives to companies interested in extending their business abroad. Finally, implications and limitations of the study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

  • This research is mainly aimed at finding out about the effects of the safety and health management system on corporate performance through systematic operation by efficiently allocating material and human resources within the company by participating all employees and stakeholders in order to prevent and maintain industrial accidents and the optimal working environment, and how to maintain and activate the safety and health management system at the center of electric contractors.The analysis results are as follows. First, management, organizational management and resource preparation will have a positive impact on the management capability of the electric power corporation. It was assessed that the more well-transmitted and understood within the organization, the better the construction plan, the better the equipment management status, the more positively the management capability of electric works was to be achieved. Second, management, organizational management and resource preparation will have a positive impact on corporate management performance.This seems to have a positive effect on a company's business performance when the standards of OHSAS are met with construction plan and construction equipment management are high as related information such as industrial safety and health laws are strengthened and companies' safety and health activities, advanced safety and culture are released to facilitate organizational management.Third, the management ability of the electric power corporation will have a mediated effect on the effect of management, organization management and resource preparation on the performance of the enterprise. This means that the direct effect of the independent variable management organization on corporate management performance is .401 The indirect effect is .168.658 shows that the direct effect of resource preparation on corporate management performance is .423, the indirect effect is .178 and the total effect.It was analyzed at 643.

  • 본 연구는 판매원의 판매노력을 효율적으로 일하는 것과 열심히 일하는 것으로 나누고, 판매노력이 목표수준과 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 검증하였다. 그리고, 효율적으로 일하는 것과 열심히 일하는 것, 목표수준에 대한 선행요인으로 개인적 변수에 해당하는 경쟁심(경쟁기질)과 자기효능을, 환경변수에 해당하는 심리적 경쟁분위기와 판매관리자 신뢰도를 탐색하여 성과에 대해 간접효과가 있는지를 검증하였다. 보험설계사를 대상으로 설문조사하여, 265부를 실증분석 한 결과 열심히 일함은 목표수준에 영향을 미치며, 목표수준은 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 효율적으로 일함과 열심히 일함의 성과에 대한 영향은 비유의적이었다. 매개변수(효율적으로 일함, 열심히 일함, 목표수준)에 대한 선행요인의 영향에 대해서는 개인변수인 경쟁심과 자기효능은 모두 유의적이었으나, 환경변수는 심리적 경쟁분위기만이 효율적으로 일함에 유의적이었다. 결과적으로 판매원의 성과에 대한 자기효능과 경쟁심의 효과는 열심히 일함 그리고 목표수준에 의해서 매개됨을 확인하였다.

유기성 폐기물 간접부담금의 도입과 바이오가스 생산보조 정책의 일반균형효과 분석

  • As London and post-Koyto protocols presumably affect emission of organic waste in Korea in 2012, appropriate treatment of organic waste becomes very important. Organic wastes are regarded as non-point pollutants. It has been criticized that direct emission charges on the emission of non-point pollutants are not effective due to the high uncertainty in the relationship between pollution sources and pollution levels. This study suggests indirect emission charges on production of livestocks or consumption on foods. Furthermore, it is assumed that revenue from the emission charges will be recycled to support biogas production. Biogas can be fueled to produce energy. In order to evaluate potential economic and environmental impacts of recycling the indirect emission charges on organic wastes, a static CGE model was developed. Simulation results of emission charges on the production of livestock show that livestock, agriculture, and food industry will confront relatively high burden while emission charges on consumption of food will affect more broadly and consumers will suffer more. Production charge on livestock sector will lead to higher reduction in GDP and total expenditure relative to the consumption charge. GHGs reduction effect was higher for the consumption charge relative to the production charge. Synthetically, consumption charge on food sector is more desirable as an alternative charge for the emission of organic wastes.

  • The purpose of this study is to specify a structural relationship among learning goal orientation(LGO), creativity, working smart, working hard, and work performance of salespersons, verify the direct and indirect effect of variables, and examine impacts of the five factors at the same time. Also, this carried out the study to understand the relationship between the salesperson's creativity and work performance. This study targeted for salespersons who were working in various industries and total 588 were participated via on-line. According to the study, the result is as follows. First of all, There are direct effects among LGO, creativity, working smart, and work performance. However, working hard didn't have any direct effect with any other variables. Creativity and working smart have indirect effects on the relationship between LGO and job performance. In addition, the mediating effect of the model with creativity was higher than that of the model without creativity. Therefore, creativity is an individual competency that should be continuously developed to improve the work performance of a salesperson.

The Mediation Effects of Smartphone Overdependence in the Relationship between University Student's Anxiety and School Life Adjustment

  • The purpose of this study is to find out whether smartphone overdependence serves as a significant mediating effect in the relationship of anxiety and school life adjustment to prevent and reduce problems of anxiety and smartphone overdependence among university students and to seek alternatives to improve school life adjustment. For this purpose, a structural equation model analysis was conducted on male and female university students attending a four-year university located in Gwangju Metropolitan City to verify the mediated effect. As the result of the analysis, The mediating effects of smartphone overdependence were statistically significant and presented as a partial medium, showing the direct effect of anxiety directly affecting school life adjustment and the indirect effect of anxiety on school life adjustment by means of smartphone overdependence. Based on these findings, the significance of the study and its implications were discussed, and suggestions were put forward for further study.

Application of Therapeutic Support on Subjective Well-being, and the Mediating Role of Place Attachment (주관적 건강에 대한 치료적 지원의 적용과 장소애착의 매개효과 검증)

  • 배경 및 목적: 이 연구의 목적은 OECD "더 나은 삶의 지수 2015"에서 34개 국가 중 29위로 평가된 한국인의 주관적 건강(subjective well-being)과 치료적 지지(therapeutic support) 관계에서 장소애착(place attachment)의 매개 효과를 탐색하였다. 방법: 비확률 표본추출 방법을 사용하여 서울 시민들 중 헬스클럽 이용자를 대상으로 설문지 조사를 실시하였으며, 구조방정식 모형분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 결과: 분석 결과 치료적 감독(therapeutic oversight )만이 주관적 건강에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다(B = .281, p < .05). 장소애착의 매개효과를 통해서 검증한 결과 치료적 감독 뿐만 아니라 치료적 증언(therapeutic testimonial)에 대해서도 유의하게 검증되었다(치료적 감독 간접 효과 = .155, p < .05, 치료적 증언 간접 효과 = .175, p < .05). 결론: 연구결과 주관적 건강에 영향을 미치는 것으로 장소애착의 매개효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 서로를 돌보며 회원들 간의 업적을 축하 할 수 있는 장소를 기반으로 한 건강 프로그램을 실행한다면 사회 구성원들의 주관적 건강 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

The Effects of Security Martial Arts Leaders' Leadership Behaviors on Role Perception and Coaching Confidence (경호무도지도자의 리더십행동이 역할 지각과 코칭 자신감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is empirically intended to look into the effects of security martial arts leader's leadership behaviors on their role perception and coaching confidence, and the mediating effects of their role perception in the relationship between their leadership behaviors and their coaching confidence. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to incumbent security martial arts leaders. The questionnaires were used for data analysis. The correlation analysis prior to a test of research hypothesis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between all potential factors(< p.01). Especially, there was a high relationship between psychological coaching confidence, human relational coaching confidence, exercise coaching, exercise prescription, and volunteer activities. The detailed results of hypothesis verification were as follows: First, hypothesis 1 showed that leadership behaviors had a significant positive effect on role perception, supporting hypothesis 1. Second, hypothesis 2 showed that role perception had a significant positive effect on coaching confidence, supporting hypothesis 2. Third, hypothesis 3 showed that leadership behaviors had a significant positive effect on coaching confidence, supporting hypothesis 3. Fourth, hypothesis 4 showed that role perception was partially mediated in the effects of leadership behaviors on coaching confidence, supporting hypothesis 4. The findings suggest that the effects of security martial arts leader's leadership behaviors on their coaching confidence can be maximized in combination with their role perception.

A Study on the Effects of Job Crafting and Innovation Behavior on Organizational Commitment -Focusing on the moderating effect of knowledge sharing- (잡크래프팅과 혁신행동이 조직헌신에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -지식공유의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This work verifies the effect of Job Crafting on organizational commitment through innovative actions, and analyzes the regulatory effect, by setting up knowledge sharing among members as factors that promote Job Crafting and Innovative Action. Depending on the level of knowledge sharing, the indirect effects of Job Crafting from organizational commitment of the members through innovative actions are expected to vary, and the controlled mediated effects are analyzed. Totally, 463 individuals were surveyed, including start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, public institutions, and large enterprise workers. The hypothesis was subsequently verified through analysis by applying SPSS 18.0 and SPSS Process Macro. Our results reveal that Job Crafting has a positive impact on the innovation behavior of the members. Secondly, a higher level of knowledge sharing had a greater positive outcome in the member's innovation behavior. Third, all innovative actions positively impacted the organizational commitment of the members. The fourth notable point was that innovation behavior imparted only a moderate impact on the association between Job Crafting and Organizational Commitment. Finally, it was determined that there was no significance in the controlled mediated effect of knowledge sharing on the indirect effects of Job Crafting affecting organizational commitment through innovative actions. Based on the data verifying the hypothesis, we present here the theoretical and practical implications of this study.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 1992년부터 산업자원부에서 추진하고 있는 에너지절약기술개발사업의 2000년까지 상용화 과제에 대한 에너지절약효과 산정 및 사회적 비용산출이다. 기술 개발에 의한 에너지 절약효과는 개발된 제품의 사용에 의한 직접적인 절약효과와 기술축적 및 타 산업으로의 기술파급 등에 의한 절약효과 등 간접적인 효과로 나누어 볼 수 있겠으나 본 연구에서는 분석자료 및 시간적인 제약으로 인하여 이 중 개발품의 사용에 의한 직접적인 효과에 한정하여 에너지 절약효과를 측정하였다.(중략)
