Under foundational precepts of Grid computing, two important requirements that all Grid application systems should satisfy are to accommodate the dynamic nature of Virtual Organizations (VOs), and to enforce different levels of security among different VOs. For the research described in this paper, we developed two different use-case scenarios addressing the two requirements, and then showed how the requirements can be met by implementing a Grid information retrieval (GIR) system prototype. The dynamic nature of VO applies not only to increasing and decreasing number of users, but also to the dynamically changing requirement of computing power among the different subcomponents that consist in overall system configuration. This implies that a request to increase computing power by a certain subcomponent can be satisfied by other idling subcomponents taking advantage of overall system flexibility. This paper describes how we implemented a Grid IR system using VO and security mechanisms provided by Globus toolkit 3.0, and shows how GIR system scalability and security can be improved for dynamic VOs. In order to manage different VOs, we implemented VO management service (VOMS), and registered it to Globus as an additional service.

The GIS which is analysis of the real world to construction of 3D virtual city develop s in rapid growth. 3D virtual city is simulated by use of a GIS, Computer graphics, virtual reality and Spatial database. In this paper 3D topographical basemap which have the geographic coordinate of world was constructed by digital map. And build the Cyber city with combining the building that have elevation and 3D topographical basemap. By using server/client system for the cyber city. 3D cyber city web service implemented. We proposed the hybrid base web service method rather than the image or vector base web service. By the spatial and attribute search in the 3D Cyber City, overcome the existing simple visibility of Web 3D technology, and exhibited development direction to the Web 3D GIS.

본 연구에서는 인터넷 가상상점의 사용성을 평가하기 위하여 국내에서 성업중인 2개의 대형서점을 선정하여 이들 상점에 대한 사용성을 비교·분석하였다. 사용성 분석 방법으로는 인지과학분야에서 개발된 GOMS를 채택하였으며, 2개의 상점을 비교 분석한 결과 , 다음과 같은 사용성 상의 문제점을 발견하였다. : (1) 상품검색에 꼭 필요하지 않은 정보의 입력과정이 포함되어있지않다. (2) 상품검색을 위한 디렉토리 구조 설계시 깊이와 넓이 사이의 적절한 균형이 유지되어 있지 않다. (3) 서버 접속 회수가 지나치게 많아 구매에 소요되는 시간이 길다. 이상과 같은 사용성의 저하요인은 개발자가 구매자의 사용성을 상대적으로 등한시하고, 검색 효율성과 개발 용이성만을 중시한 결과로 판단되었다. 따라서 개발자는 사용자입장에서 사용 편이성을 고려한 구매절차를 개발하여 이를 가상 상점에 도입하는 것이 필요하다.

본 연구에서는 VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language)을 이용하여 월드 와이드 웹(World Wide Web; WWW) 상에서의 3차원 디렉토리 서비스인 "3D 한마당"을 구현하였다. 현재 WWW 상에서는 많은 2차원 디렉 토리 서비스가 존재하나 3차원검색 서비스에 비해 사용자를 위한 가상 현실감이 부족한 단점이 있다. 또한 3차원 검색 서비스는 그 잠재적 수요가 점차 증가함에도 불구하고 아직 적은 편이며, 또한 중오성이 차츰 커 지는 전자 상거래를 위해 특화된 디렉토리 서비스도 그 요구에 비해 많지 않다. 3차원으로 디렉토리 서비스의 기능을 수행할 수 있는 3D 한마당은 HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language)에 의해 기술되는 2차원 전자 거래용 디 렉토리 서비스인 "한마당"을 보조하기 위해 제작된 것으로, VRML 1.0 사양에 맞추어서 만들어졌다. 3D 한마당 을 위한 VRML 월드를 만들기 위해, Pentium PC에서 3-D MAX 소프트웨어로 각 구성 객체들을 저작한 후, 이를 조합하여 VRML 1.0 사양을 따라 월드로 변환하는 방법을 사용하였다. 이렇게 완성된 3D 한마당은 기존의 2차원 전자 거래용 디렉토리 서비스인 한마당에서 하이퍼링크로 바로 접근할 수 있으며, 또한 월드 안의 객체에서 그 객체에 대한 2차원 테이블로도 연결이 가능하게 하였다. 이러한 3차원 가상상점 디렉토리 서비스는 전자 거래에 특화된 특성 때문에 정해진 개수의 객체들만 요구되어 구현이 쉬운 이점이 있고, 보다 인간에게 자연스러운 인테 페이스로 정보 검색을 지원하게 해줄 수 있다.정보 검색을 지원하게 해줄 수 있다.

최근 들어 XML에 대한 연구가 늘어나면서, XML(eXtensible Markup Language)문서에 대한 저장/검색에 대한 다양한 방법들이 제시되고 있다. 특히 XML 문서의 구조적인 특성을 살리면서 문서의 저장 및 변경을 원활하게 지원할 수 있는 방안에 대한 요구가 늘고 있다. 기존의 저장관리 시스템을 위한 저장 모델로는 크게, XML 문서의 빠른 검색을 지원할 수 있는 가상분할모델(Virtual Fragmentation Model)과 문서에 대한 변경을 빠르게 지원해 줄 수 있는 분할모델(Decomposition Model)로 나누어 볼 수 있는데, 본 연구에서는 이 두가지 모델의 장점을 취합하여 문서의 검색 속도는 가상분할모델정도로, 문서의 변경속도는 분할모델정도로 빠르게 지원해 줄 수 있는 페이징(Paging)기법에 대해 설계하였다. 본 페이징 기법은 XML문서뿐만 아니라, HTML(HiperText Markup Language) 문서의 저장관리 시스템에서도 똑같이 적용될 수 있다. 본 연구의 후반부에서는 페이징 기법과 다른 기법에 대한 비교를 통하여 페이징 기법의 성능을 분석하였다.

본 논문에서는 인터넷 상에서의 물품 구입 및 판매 요구를 지원하기 위한 분산 트랜잭션 처리 모델을 제시한다. 가상 공간에서의 트랜잭션 처리를 위해서는 구입 요구와 판매 요구 조건이 부합되어야 한다. 이러한 요구 사향들을 저장하기 위해 지리적인 지역 레벨에 따라 데이터베이스를 사용하고 이들을 DNS의 계층 구조와 비슷하게 연결한다. 또한 각 판매 및 구입 요구 정보를 여러 사이트에 복제 저장함으로써 판매 및 구입 요구가 발생하면 부합되는 구입 및 판매 요구를 검색하는 시간을 줄일 수 있다. 판매 및 구입 요구 정보를 저장하는 방식에 따른 검색 시간에 대한 복잡도를 분석하여 제시하였다.

XML을 기반으로 하는 가상문서는 다양한 데이터의 공유를 가능하게 하여 새로운 지식을 생성할 수 있도록 한다. 가상 문서를 지원하는 디지털 도서관 시스템에서 질의 링크는 인터넷 상의 정형데이터 공유를 가능하게 한다. 본 연구에서는 질의링크를 포함하는 XML- 기반 가상문서를 효과적으로 생성하기 위해 질의링크 생성기와 스키마 처리기를 설계하고 구현하였으며 이를 지원하기 위해 디지털 도서관 시스템과 가상문서 저작시스템에서 서비스 관리기, 메타 검색기, 데이터베이스 관리기와 저작도구를 확장하였다.

XML을 기반으로 하는 가상문서는 인터넷 상의 정보 공유를 가능하게 하여 새로운 지식을 생성할 수 있도록 한다. 가상문서에서는 비정형(텍스트, 이미지, 멀티미디어 데이터)과 준정형(HTML, XML) 데이터를 링크로 연결하여 정보를 제공하고 있다. HTML과 같은 기존의 웹 문서에서는 스크립트나 CGI 같은 것을 통하여 정형 데이터(데이터베이스)의 정보를 제공하고 있으므로 가상문서에서도 자연스럽게 정형 데이터를 연결하여 사용이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 도서관 시스템에서 정형 데이터를 지원하기 위해 질의 링크를 포함하는 가상문서를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있도록 데이터베이스를 설계 및 구현하며, 데이터베이스 스키마 정보를 관리하여 필요한 데이터베이스를 검색하여 질의 링크의 생성을 돕도록 하였다.

This paper announces that, with the emergence of the imaginary university for the remote education, which is based on Web due to the education change, the introduction of the Multimedia contents system using computers and the Internet becomes serious. For this reason, this paper suggests search system for managing the imaginary university documents. For the success of the document management of the imaginary university, document search is regarded as an important issue as well as the executive support and search system of the document management. This paper plans and embodies the imaginary university XML document search system to establish the foundation of increasing efficiency o( affairs using XML document, by aiming at the fact that it will be highlighted as a representative application field as well as the efficiency of the executive affairs, by applying of Multimedia documentary creation system, which is about the imaginary university XML documentary that it is seen distinctly an effect of administrative work being a consequence of new technique application of computers.

The purpose of the study was to review the evidence of effects of virtual reality (VR) technology in nursing education. Four databases were searched for articles publised until November 2018 that databases include PubMed, Proquest (nursing and allied health), CINAHL, & RISS. Key word used for search include 'education, nursing', 'simulation', 'skill training', 'virtual reality' and 'VR'. Of 695 papers searched, Seven studies were selected for data analysis. Of seven studies, five studies used quasi-experimental design and two used one group design. There were two studies used VR technology for skill training and five were scenario based VR simulation program. Studies evaluated outcomes including students performance, time spent on practice, self-efficacy and communication ability that most studies reported positive effects while some figures were not statistically significant. The findings of this study provides evidence of nursing education program using VR, however, additional research with rigorously designed studies using systematized measurements for study outcomes are required. In addition, comparison with existing skill training and simulation education should be considered in the future studies.
