  • Variable mechanism perceives height and location of the person who use Kiosk system then control the machine to proper height and location. In this paper, we propose ADALINE-Fuzzy logic system control method for control height and direction of the variable kiosk. To prove usefulness of proposed system, we performed Widrow-Hoff delta rule experiment and carried out examination and comparison of control performance about heigh and direction of the person using kiosk system.

A Buffer Management Scheme Using Prefetching and Caching for Variable Bit Rate Video-On-Demand Servers (가변 비트율 주문형 비디오 서버에서 선반입자 캐슁을 이용한 버퍼 관리 기법)

  • Video-On-Demand servers have to provide timely processing guarantees and reduce the storage and reduce the storage and bandwidth requirements for continuous media However, compression techniques used in Video-On-Demand servers make the bit rates of compressed video data significantly variable from frame to frame Consequently, most pervious Video-On-Demand servers which use constant bit rate retrieval to guarantee deterministic service under-utilize the system resources and restrict the number of clients. In this paper, I propose a buffer management scheme called CAP(Caching And Prefetching) for Video-On-Demand server using variable bit rate continuous media. By caching and prefetching the data CAP reduces the variation of the compressed data and increases the number of clients simultaneously served and maximizes the utilization of system resources. Results of trace-driven simulations show the effectiveness of the scheme.

  • 본 논문은 척추 건강관리기의 구동을 위한 가변형 전원 공급장치에 관한 논문이다. 본 시스템은 의료용 및 척추 마사지를 위한 장비로서 인체에 접촉하는 경우가 많고 높은 안전성을 요구하기 때문에 안정적인 전원 공급이 필요한 시스템이다. 본 시스템을 구동하기 위해서 100W의 전원이 필요하여 비교적 간단하고 절연타입의 Forward Type의 토폴로지를 적용하여 시스템에서 요구하는 전원을 공급하도록 회로를 설계 하였으며, 이를 시스템에 적용하여 성능을 검증하였다.

  • 450mm 반도체 CVD 장비 개발 및 300mm F-CVD (Flowable CVD) 공정 개발에 있어서 공정 마진 확보 및 막질 품질 개선을 위해 주파수 가변형 RF Generator가 필수적으로 요구되고 있다. 20nm이하 STI (Shallow Trench Isolation), PMD (Pre-metal Dielectric) & IMD (Inter-Metal Dielectric) 미세공정 gap fill에 많은 문제점이 도출되고 있으며, 이유로는 Generator 고정 주파수에서 Matching Time delay 또는 Shooting에 의한 산포의 한계로 파악되었으며, 주파수 가변에 의한 고속 Tune 기능이 요구되어진다. 따라서 400kHz 주파수 가변형 RF-Generator 개발을 진행하였으며 본 논문을 통해 개발되어진 장비의 성능과 시험 평가한 결과를 소개하고자 한다.

  • The patrol robot is a typical extreme robot for the military use. It helps soldiers by detecting and informing a potential risk instead, and warning earlier. Also, these kinds of extreme robots need good ability to conquest rough road. In this paper, we studied new mechanism through which we can get high speed on the flat road with round shape wheels, and simultaneously can get good ability to overcome rough road with blade-shape wheels. The shape of the wheels is being self-adaptively changed automatically according to the condition of the road without using additional actuator.

  • 최근 전력용 반도체소자를 이용하여 전력의 변환과 제어를 하는 Power electronics가 많은 발전을 하고 있는데 이것을 가장 많이 이용하는 분야는 전동기의 가변속 구동이다. 이중에서 교류전동기의 구동을 위한 가변 주파수 제어장치의 구성을 보면 전압형 Inverter, 전류형 Inverter 및 Cycloconverter등에 의한 것으로 대별된다. 교류전동기의 가변주파수 제어는 농형유도전동기의 경우가 가장 많고 동기전동기는 약간 있는 정도이다. 여기서는 이러한 제어에 쓴이는 전압형 Inverter의 대표적인 회로와 최근에 개발된 펄스폭 제어 Inverter의 동작 원리 및 특징등에 대하여 소개하고저 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 페이저 변환을 통한 주파수-시비율-가변형 이중 출력 LLC 공진형 컨버터의 포락선 모델을 제시한다. 이를 이용하면 제안 회로의 대신호 및 소신호 특성을 쉽게 파악할 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 전달 함수의 정확한 수학적 해석을 통해 보상기의 설계가 용이해지는 장점이 있다.

A 9-node Degenerated Shell Element for Inelastic Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Structures (철근 콘크리트 구조물의 비탄성 해석을 위한 9절점 퇴화 쉘 요소)

  • An enhanced degenerated shell finite element (FE), which has been developed for inelastic analysis of reinforced concrete structures is described in this paper. Generally, Reissner-Mindlin (RM) assumptions are adopted to develop the degenerated shell FE so that transverse shear deformation effects is considered. However, it is found that there are serious defects such as locking phenomena in RM degenerated shell FE since the stiffness matrix has been overestimated in some situations. As remedies of locking phenomena, reduced integration, incompatible mode and assumed strain method have been used. Especially, the assumed strain method has been successfully used in many FEs. But contrarily, there is a few investigation on the performance of the assumed strains in the inelastic analysis of concrete structures. Therefore, shell formulation is provided in this paper with emphasis on the terms related to the stiffness matrix based on assumed strain method and microscopic concrete material model. Finally, the performance of the present shell element is tested and demonstrated with several numerical examples. From the numerical tests, the present result shows a good agreement with experimental data or other numerical results.

  • We proposed and demonstrated a tunable wavelength optical add/drop multiplexer(OADM) employing piezoactuated fiber grating pairs and polarization beam splitters. We used piezostack act as a fiber stretcher, using the fact that the resonant wavelength of the grating can be controlled by the axial strain along the fiber grating. The polarization controlled configuration showed high stability because the reflected signals from the two identical gratings are dropped or added not by interference but by polarizations of the beams. We could add and drop not noly 1549.3nm signal channel(original gratings), but also 1550.1nm(tuned gratings) with PZT actuators and in both cases, we found that the rejection of adjacent channels was more than -26dB, and signal leakage at the gratings was less than -34dB.
