Development of a Daily Reservoir Operating Model for Nakdong-River Basin (낙동강수계 일별 저수지군 최적 운영 모형 개발)

  • 본 연구에서는 낙동강수계 일별 운영 계획 수립을 위한 저수지군 최적 연계운영 모형(CoMOM, Coordinated Multiple Reservoir Operating Model)을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여 동적 네트워크 흐름 모형을 기반으로 한 다중목적 혼합 정수 목표계획 모형 (MOMIGP, Multiple Objective Mixed Integer Goal-Programming)을 수립하였다. 이 모형은 월말 목표 수위 및 운영 제약 등을 목표 계획법으로 구성하였으며, 일별 운영의 특성을 고려하여 하도추적의 효과를 반영하였고, 선형화된 발전함수를 이용하여 발전량을 최대화 하도록 한 후 정확한 발전량을 사후에 산정하였다. 이와 같이 수립된 수학 모형을 GUI를 비롯한 프로그램(CoMOM)으로 개발하여 사용자가 편리하게 수행 할 수 있도록 하였다. 이 프로그램은 의사결정자의 운영 목표와 의도를 효과적으로 반영할 수 있도록 대화형 목표 계획법을 구현하였으며, 상충되는 여러 목적에 대하여 가능한 파래토(Pareto) 최적해를 제시하고 의사결정자가 가장 선호하는 해를 선택하도록 대화형 다중목적 계획법 CBITP(Convex hull of individual maxima Based Interactive Tchebycheff Procedure)를 활용하여 구현하였다. 한편 객체지항적 프로그램 기법을 활용하여 수계 내의 노드(저수지, 수요지, 발전소 등)를 추가 하거나 삭제 할 수 있도록 하여, 다른 수계로의 확장이 용이하도록 개발하였다.

  • Evolutionary Computation is not only widely used in optimization and machine learning, but also being applied in creating novel structures and entities. This paper proposes evolutionary topic maps that can suggest new and creative knowledge not easily producible by humans. Interactive evolutionary computation method is applied into topic maps in order to accept human evaluation on feasibility of intermediate topic maps. Evolutionary topic maps are creativity support tools, helping users to encounter new and creative knowledge. Further work can greatly improve the system by providing more operations, preventing over-convergence, and overcoming user fatigue problem by providing more intuitive user interface, better visualization, and interpolation mechanisms.

  • The web technology related with internet at present is changed into the 3D interactive environment form one sided communication of simple contents. In this paper, a high quality interactive Web3D Contents was realized by using the TurnTool, a authoring tool. This paper suggests the method that can easily and quickly realize the Web3D manual which is more realistic md capable of interaction with user. This method makes up for the weak points in the existing Web3D tool system. Therefore we can realize the contents that able to easily interact through minimizing file size md omitting procedure of additional EAI(External Authoring Interface) by using the Java Script.

A Character Animation Tool Based on Motion Mapping (모션 매핑 기반의 캐릭터 애니메이션 개발 도구)

  • In this paper, we present an animation toolkit based on motion mapping technique in a graphics user interface that can represent data structures necessary for generating character motions. The motion mapping means that an animation sequence generated once can be mapped to another object directly according a data structure in the graphics user interface. Users can generate animation sequences interactively using a mouse. These are obtained automatically by modifying motion data structures interactively. Compared with other conventional tools, the toolkit has different features that two hierarchical structures necessary for representing modeling and animation data are managed independently each other, and that animations generated can be applied to any other characters by connecting the two hierarchical structures in the user interface.

A Domain Action Classification Model Using Conditional Random Fields (Conditional Random Fields를 이용한 영역 행위 분류 모델)

  • In a goal-oriented dialogue, speakers' intentions can be represented by domain actions that consist of pairs of a speech act and a concept sequence. Therefore, if we plan to implement an intelligent dialogue system, it is very important to correctly infer the domain actions from surface utterances. In this paper, we propose a statistical model to determine speech acts and concept sequences using conditional random fields at the same time. To avoid biased learning problems, the proposed model uses low-level linguistic features such as lexicals and parts-of-speech. Then, it filters out uninformative features using the chi-square statistic. In the experiments in a schedule arrangement domain, the proposed system showed good performances (the precision of 93.0% on speech act classification and the precision of 90.2% on concept sequence classification).

Efficient Shear-warp Volume Rendering using Spacial Locality of Memory Access (메모리 참조 공간 연관성을 이용한 효율적인 쉬어-왑 분해 볼륨렌더링)

  • Shear-Warp volume rendering has many advantages such as good image Quality and fast rendering speed. However in the interactive classification environment it has low efficiency of memory access since preprocessed classification is unavailable. In this paper we present an algorithm using the spacial locality of memory access in the interactive classification environment. We propose an extension model appending a rotation matrix to the factorization of viewing transformation, it thus performs a scanline-based rendering in the object and image space. We also show causes and solutions of three problems of the proposed algorithm such as inaccurate front-to-back composition, existence of hole, increasing computational cost. This model is efficient due to the spacial locality of memory access.

  • In this paper, we present a preprocessor which corrects word spacing errors and spelling correction errors simultaneously. The proposed expands noisy-channel model so that it corrects both errors in colloquial style sentences effectively, while preprocessing algorithms have limitations because they correct each error separately. Using Eojeol transition pattern dictionary and statistical data such as n-gram and Jaso transition probabilities, it minimizes the usage of dictionaries and produces the corrected candidates effectively. In experiments we did not get satisfactory results at current stage, we noticed that the proposed methodology has the utility by analyzing the errors. So we expect that the preprocessor will function as an effective error corrector for general colloquial style sentence by doing more improvements.

A Study of Architectural Space Organization for the Promotion of Interactive Conversations and the Design Application for a Public Hospital Project (대화 공간을 제공하는 마을 같은 도시형 공공병원의 건축공간 구성방식과 설계적용 연구)

  • Purpose: While medical standard is rapidly improved, welfare of users and employees in hospitals is not treated correspondingly. Intercommunication of hospital users is thought to be very important for their welfare, and provision of conversation spaces within hospital environment needs to be expanded by architectural design. Space organization methods for the design of conversation space is to be embellished. Methods: Literature and hospital designs are analysed in order to develop the basis of argumentation for the hospital conversation space. 15 hospitals are reviewed and designed spaces for the intercommunication of the users are examined, Space organization efforts and design experiments are identified, and 6 organizational methods are proposed such as: 1) reducing territoriality 2) flowing space 3) categorizing and separating spaces 4) height variation 5) contact with outside and 6) Sun-lighted space. Results: 6 organization methods are confirmed in precedent hospital cases, and these proposed methods are applied in a new hospital design project to verify their usefulness. Implications: A hospital design project is presented based on these proposed methods of organization for the conversation space. Outcomes of this study can be applied for the formulation of human intercommunication spaces in other facilities.

Design and implementation of a media processor for mobile multimedia broadcasting (이동멀티미디어 방송을 위한 미디어 처리기 설계 및 구현)

  • In this paper, we propose a media processor to provide interactive services in mobile multimedia broadcasting environments. The proposed system Is designed to support various functionalities, such as generation of MPEG-4 IOD (Initial Object Descriptor)/OD(Object Descriptor)/BIFS (Binary Format for Scene) data, encapsulation of MPEG-4 AVC (Advanced Video Coding)/BSAC (Bit Sliced Arithmetic Coding) stream and generated IOD/OD/BIFS data into SL (Sync Layer) packet, packetization of SL packet into TS (Transport Stream) packet and multiplexing. The proposed media processor can provide MPEG-4 based interactive services for users.

3-D Aeroelastic Model Test of a Cable-Stayed Bridge with a Main Span of 1,200m (주경간장 1,200m 사장교의 3차원 풍동실험)

  • 사장교의 적용지간이 증가하여 초장대화하면서 구조안전성을 확보하기 위한 다양한 노력이 시도되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재까지 시도된 적이 없는 주경간 1,200m 사장교의 내풍안정성을 검토하기위하여 3차원공탄성 모형을 제작하고 풍동실험을 수행하였다.(그림1 참조) 실험대상 구조물은 내풍안정성 증대를 위해 유선형 박스거더를 채용하고 케이블이 거더와 함께 비틀림에 저항하도록 2면 케이블을 적용하였다. 구조적인 측면에서는 보강형 자중감소를 위해 전경간을 강박스로 계획하였으며 측경간에 부반력제어를 위한 Counter Weight을 적용하였다. 실험대상 구조물은 완성계, 가설계95%, 가설계50%, 가설계45%로 모형을 해체하면서 진행하였고 가설단계 별로 내풍케이블의 수량과 형상을 달리하여 내풍안정성 개선효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 3차원 풍동실험 결과 완성계에서 교량의 안전성에 심각한 문제를 발생시킬 수 있는 와류진동, 플러터, 버페팅과 같은 유해한 진동현상이 발견되지 않았으며, 시공중 내풍안정성 확보를 위하여 대상교량에 내풍케이블을 설치하고 내풍케이블의 수량 및 배치형상에 따른 진동제어 효과를 검토하였다. 본 실험은 현재 풍동실험 요소기술을 이용하여 1,200m급 사장교 풍동실험을 수행하였고 이에 따라 교량이 초장대화 되면서 스케일다운에 따른 보강형질량, 케이블 간격 등 실험모형 제작상 문제점을 확인 할 수 있었으며 이러한 경험을 토대로 향후 1,000m 이상급 초장대 사장교 내풍설계를 위한 기초자료로 활용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.
