  • Correlation between propagation of bush-type electrical tree and internal partial discharges(PD) was discussed. We used specimens with needle-plane electrode system made of LDPE(Low Density Polyethylene), observed inception and propagation of electrical tree by optical microscope interfaced with computer and investigated characteristics of phase resolved PD pulses accompanying with propagation of electrical tree. Electrical tree generally growed bush-type tree. PD data detected and analyzed were average discharge current and statistical operator of q-n, $\psi$- $q_{avg}$, $\psi$-n, ${\psi}-q_{max}$ distribution. Parameters used were skewness, kurtosis, average discharge phase, cross-correlation factor, asymmetry and etc. In generally, average discharge current had good linear relationship with propagation of bush type electrical tree on this experiment. Peak discharge magnitude and repetition rate were increased, but they had not good linear relationship.p.

  • A fuzzy controller designed by mini-max-gravity(MMG) method is essentially nonlinear with respect to the controller's input and output relationship, and stability analysis is thus needed to construct a stable control system. This paper deals with a design method of a position-type MMG fuzzy controller stable in a sense of Lyapunov when considered is a single-input-single-output linear, stable plant. We first introduce a method to construct a Laypunov function by using an eigen-value of A matrix of the linear, stable plant dynamics and then we derive an asymtotic stability condition in terms of scale factors for fuzzy state variables and controller gain. The stability condition is found reasonably practical through comparing the theoretical stability region with that obtained from simulations.

  • This parer proposed the path mismatch detection and compensation algorithm with closed form for linear amplification with non-linear components(LINC) system implementation. The LINC system has a merit of using the high efficient amplifier by transferring the non-constant envelop signal which is high peak to average signal ratio into constant envelop signal. However, the performance degradation is very sensitive to the path mismatch such as an amplitude mismatch and a phase mismatch. In order to improve the path mismatch, the error detection and compensation method is introduced by the use of four test signals. Since the presented method has the closed form solution, the efficient and fast detection is available. The digital-IF structure of LINC system applied by the proposed error detection and compensation algorithm was implemented. The performance was evaluated with the IEEE 802.16 WiMAX baseband sinal which has 7 MHz channel bandwidth and 16-QAM. The Error Vector Magnitude(EVM) of -37.37 dB was obtained through performance test, which meets performance requirement of -24 dB EVM. As a result, the introduced error detection and compensation method was verified to improve the LINC system performance.

  • To proactively respond to internal and external changes such as the recent demographic change and rising demand for diversified housing types, this study investigated the framed-structure free plan public house model proposed by the LH to look at the seismic performance of framed-structure apartment according to damper system use through non-linear analysis. The effectiveness thereof was also examined in terms of performance and economy. As a result, the proposed damper system application method to framed-structure free plan public house model was found to meet the performance requirements of the present earthquake-resistant design (KBC2016) and effective to apply to designs. The max response displacement and max response acceleration were compared based on the nonlinear analysis. As a result, the building with damper system showed better earthquake resistance performance than earthquake-resistant structure thanks to the damper system, although the base shear of earthquake-resistant system was reduced by 20% in design. The damper system is expected to help reduce building damage while ensuring excellent earthquake resistance performance. In addition, the framework quantities of earthquake-resistant structure and structure with damping system were compared. As a result, columns were found to reduce concrete amount by about 3.9% and rebar, by about 7.3%. Walls showed about 12.6% reduction in concrete and about 10.7% in rebar. In terms of cost, framework construction cost including formwork and foundation expenses was expected to drop by about 5~6%.

  • The present study was designed to examine the metabolism of 1-anilino-8-naphthalene sulfonate (ANS), an anionic compound which is transported into liver via "multispecific organ ic anion transporter", with rat hepatic microsomes. TLC analysis indicated that the fluorescent metabolites were not produced to a measurable extent, which made it possible to assess the ANS metabolism by measuring the fluorescence disappearance. The metabolism of ANS was remarkably inhibited by the presence of SKF-525A as well as by the substitution of 02 by CO gas. ANS metabolism by microsomes also required NADPH as a cofactor. These results indicated that the microsomal monooxygenase system might be mainly responsible for the ANS metabolism. The maximum velocity ($V_{max}$) and Michaelis constant ($K_m$) were calculated to be $4.3{\pm}0.2$ nmol/min/mg protein and $42.1{\pm}2.0\;{\mu}M$, respectively. Assuming that 1g of liver contains 32mg of microsomal protein, the $V_{max}$ value was extrapolated to that per g of liver ($V_{max}^I$). The intrinsic metabolic clearance ($CL_{int}$) under linear conditions calculated from this in vitro metabolic study was 3.3ml/min/g liver, being comparable with that (3.0ml/min/g liver) calculated by analyzing the in vivo plasma disappearance curve in a previous study. Furthermore, the effects of other organic anions on the metabolism of ANS were examined. Bromophenolblue (BPB) and rose bengal (RB) competitively inhibited the metabolism of ANS, while BSP inhibited it only slightly. The inhibition constant ($K_i$) of BPB ($6\;{\mu}M$) was much smaller than that of RB ($200\;{\mu}M$). In conclusion, the microsomal monooxygenase system plays a major role in the metabolism of ANS, and other unmetabolizable organic anions (BPB and RB) compete for this metabolism.

  • Nonlinear network creates complex homotopy structural communication in wireless network medium because of complex distribution approach. Due to this multicast topological connection structure, the queuing probability was non regular principles to create routing structures. To resolve this problem, we propose a Co-cluster homotopy queuing model (Co-CHQT) for Nonlinear Algebraic Topological Structure (NLTS-) for improving poison distribution network communication. Initially this collects the routing propagation based on Nonlinear Distance Theory (NLDT) to estimate the nearest neighbor network nodes undernon linear at x(a,b)→ax2+bx2 = c. Then Quillen Network Decomposition Theorem (QNDT) was applied to sustain the non-regular routing propagation to create cluster path. Each cluster be form with co variance structure based on Two unicast 2(n+1)-Z2(n+1)-Z network. Based on the poison distribution theory X(a,b) ≠ µ(C), at number of distribution routing strategies weights are estimated based on node response rate. Deriving shorte;'l/st path from behavioral of the node response, Hilbert -Krylov subspace clustering estimates the Cluster Head (CH) to the routing head. This solves the approximation routing strategy from the nonlinear communication depending on Max- equivalence theory (Max-T). This proposed system improves communication to construction topological cluster based on optimized level to produce better performance in distance theory, throughput latency in non-variation delay tolerant.

  • EMRCA(Explicit Max_min Rate Control Algorithm) switch, which has been proposed in the ATM(Asychronous Transfer Mode) standard, controls the ABR(Available Bit Rate) service traffic in the ATM networks. The ABR service class of ATM networks uses a feedback control mechanism to adapt to varying link capacities. The VS/VD(Virtual Source/Virtual Destination) technique offers the possibility to segment the otherwise end-to-end ABR control loop into separate loops. The improved feedback delay and the control of ABR traffic inside closed segments provide a better performance and QoS(Quality of Service) for ABR connections with respect to throughput, delay, and jitter. This paper is study of an ABR VS/VD flow control method. Linear control theory offers the means to derive correct choices of parameters and to assess performance issues, like stability of the system, during the design phase. The performance goals are a high link utilization, fair bandwidth distribution and robust operation in various environments, which are verified by discrete event simulations. The major contribution of this work is the use of linear control theory to model and design an ABR flow control method tailored for the special layout of a VS/VD switch, the simulation shows that this techniques better than conventional method.

  • We define the incomplete medium sharing system as a multi-channel shared medium communication system where constraints are imposed to the set of channels that may be allocated to some transmitter-receiver node pairs. To derive a centralized MAC scheme of a incomplete medium sharing system, we address the problem of optimal channel allocation The optimal channel allocation problem is then translated into a max-flow problem in a multi-commodity flow graph, and it is shown that the optimal solution can then be obtained by solving a linear programming problem. In addition, two suboptimal channel allocation schemes are proposed to bring down the computational complexity to a practical/feasible level; (1) one is a modified iSLIP channel allocation scheme, (2) the other is sequential channel allocation scheme. From the results of a extensive set of numerical experiments, it is found that the suboptimal schemes evaluate channel utilization close to that of the optimal schemes while requiring much less amount of computation than the optimal scheme. In particular, the sequential channel allocation scheme is shown to achieve higher channel utilization with less computational complexity than . the modified iSLIP channel allocation scheme.

  • This paper discusses an optimization-based approach for the design of a product platform for industrial three-axis linear-type robots, which are widely used for handling objects in manufacturing lines. Since the operational specifications of these robots, such as operation speed, working distance and orientation, weight and shape of loads, etc., will vary for different applications, robotic system vendors must provide various types of robots efficiently and effectively to meet a range of market needs. A promising step toward this goal is the concept of a product platform, in which several key elements are commonly used across a series of products, which can then be customized for individual requirements. However the design of a product platform is more complicated than that of each product, due to the need to optimize the design across many products. This paper proposes an optimization-based fundamental framework toward the design of a product platform for industrial three-axis linear-type robots; this framework allows the solution of a complicated design problem and builds an optimal design method of fundamental features of robot frames that are commonly used for a wide range of robots. In this formulation, some key performance metrics of the robot are estimated by a reducedorder model which is configured with beam theory. A multi-objective optimization problem is formulated to represent the trade-offs among key design parameters using a weighted-sum form for a single product. This formulation is integrated into a mini-max type optimization problem across a series of robots as an optimal design formulation for the product platform. Some case studies of optimal platform design for industrial three-axis linear-type robots are presented to demonstrate the applications of a genetic algorithm to such mathematical models.
