  • In this study, computer simulation program was using to identify the effects of road traffic noise propagation depending on the road types which are very variable in dense city. To achieve this goal, the roads should adjacent to housing complex were categorized into 7 types and propagation noise level should predicted then after simulation of noise exposure population calculation are carried out. Followings the results. First, the road types producing the higher noise level are R1, R2, R3 and R7. The lowest one is R6. And R4, R5 showed that some amount of noise level reduction. Second. the R6 road type which is tunnel shaped showed the highest noise level reduction in vertical distance gap. Last, the order of noise exposure population ratio is R1>R2>R7 and R6 showed the lowest.

  • The purpose of this paper is to compute the number of semistar operations of certain classes of finite dimensional $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domains. We prove that ${\mid}SStar(R){\mid}={\mid}Star(R){\mid}+{\mid}Spec(R){\mid}+ {\mid}Idem(R){\mid}$ where Idem(R) is the set of all nonzero idempotent prime ideals of R if and only if R is a $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain with Y -graph spectrum, that is, R is a $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain with exactly two maximal ideals M and N and $Spec(R)=\{(0){\varsubsetneq}P_1{\varsubsetneq}{\cdots}{\varsubsetneq}P_{n-1}{\varsubsetneq}M,N{\mid}P_{n-1}{\varsubsetneq}N\}$. We also characterize non-local $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domains R such that ${\mid}SStar(R){\mid}=7$, respectively ${\mid}SStar(R){\mid}=14$.

  • In this study, pool boiling performance of Turbo/B-type metal-formed tubes was investigated. Tubes with three different cavity gap width(0.04 mm, 0.07 mm, 0.1 mm) were manufactured and tested using R-11, R-123 and R-134a. Tests were conducted at two different saturation temperatures $4.4^{\circ}C$ and $26.7^{\circ}C.$ Heat flux was varied from 10 kW/m2 to 50 kW/m2. It was found that optimum gap width varied for different refrigerants. For low-pressure refrigerants such as R-11 or R-123, optimum gap width was 0.07 mm. For high-pressure refrigerant R-134a, however, the optimum value was 0.1 mm. Compared with the heat transfer performance of the smooth tube, the metal-formed tubes enhanced the heat transfer coefficients significantly - 6.5 times for R-11, 6.0 times for R-123 and 5.0 times for R-134a (at $4.4^{\circ}C$ saturation temperature and 40 kW/m2 heat flux), which are comparable with the performance of foreign products. The heat transfer coefficients of R-134a were larger than those of R-11 or R-123, and they increased as the saturation temperature increased.

  • Let R be a noncommutative prime ring of characteristic different from 2, U the Utumi quotient ring of R, C the extended centroid of R and f($x_1,{\ldots},x_n$) a noncentral multilinear polynomial over C in n noncommuting variables. Denote by f(R) the set of all the evaluations of f($x_1,{\ldots},x_n$) on R. If d is a nonzero derivation of R and G a nonzero generalized derivation of R such that $$d(G(u)u){\in}Z(R)$$ for all $u{\in}f(R)$, then $f(x_1,{\ldots},x_n)^2$ is central-valued on R and there exists $b{\in}U$ such that G(x) = bx for all $x{\in}R$ with $d(b){\in}C$. As an application of this result, we investigate the commutator $[F(u)u,G(v)v]{\in}Z(R)$ for all $u,v{\in}f(R)$, where F and G are two nonzero generalized derivations of R.

  • Suppose f belongs to the Bloch space with f(0) = 0. For 0 < r < 1 and 0 < p < ∞, we show that $$M_p(r,\,f)\,=\,({\frac{1}{2\pi}}{\int_{0}^{2\pi}}\,{\mid}f(re^{it}){\mid}^pdt)^{1/p}\,{\leq}\,({\frac{{\Gamma}(\frac{p}{2}+1)}{{\Gamma}(\frac{p}{2}+1-k)}})^{1/p}\,{\rho}{\mathcal{B}}(log\frac{1}{1-r^2})^{1/2},$$ where ρʙ(f) = supz∈ⅅ(1 - |z|2)|f'(z)| and k is the integer satisfying 0 < p - 2k ≤ 2. Moreover, we prove that for 0 < r < 1 and p > 1, $${\parallel}f_r{\parallel}_{B_q}\,{\leq}\,r\,{\rho}{\mathcal{B}}(f)(\frac{1}{(1-r^2)(q-1)})^{1/q},$$ where fr(z) = f(rz) and ||·||ʙq is the Besov seminorm given by ║f║ʙq = (∫𝔻 |f'(z)|q(1-|z|2)q-2dA(z)). These results improve previous results of Clunie and MacGregor.

  • This paper presents the experimental results of evaporation heat transfer coefficients of HC(e.g. R290 and R600a), R-22 as a HCFCs refrigerant in horizontal double pipe heat exchangers, having four different inner diameters of 10.07 mm and 6.54 mm respectively. The experiments of the evaporation process were conducted at mass flux of $35.5{\sim}210.4\;kg/m^2s$ and cooling capacity of $0.95{\sim}10.1\;kW$. The main results were summarized as follows : The average evaporation heat transfer coefficient of R-290 and R-600a was higher value than that of R-22. In comparison with R-22, the evaporation heat transfer coefficient of R-290 and 600a is approximately $56.7{\sim}70.1$ and $46.6{\sim}59.7%$ higher, respectively. In comparison with experimental data and some correlations, the evaporation heat transfer coefficients are well matched with the Kandlikar's correlation regardless of a type of refrigerants and tube diameters.

  • This study analyzes the relationship between R&D input and performance using panel data from the defense industry. A research model is established based on the R&D logic model, and the study sample consists of a strongly balanced panel data (n=351) empirically analyzed using panel linear regression. Results identified that defense improvement expenditure has a positive influence on the R&D input, and R&D input positively affected patents using a 5-year time lag. In addition, R&D input positively impacts economic performance, including sales and profit. Hence, the major finding includes R&D inputs have statistically significant effects on economic outcome and the R&D logic model featuring a time-lag.

  • Let R be a commutative ring with identity and let M be an R-module. Then M is called a multiplication module if for every submodule N of M there exists an ideal I of R such that N = 1M. Let M be a non-zero multiplication R-module. Then we prove the following: (1) there exists a bijection: N(M)$\bigcap$V(ann$\_{R}$(M))$\rightarrow$Spec$\_{R}$(M) and in particular, there exists a bijection: N(M)$\bigcap$Max(R)$\rightarrow$Max$\_{R}$(M), (2) N(M) $\bigcap$ V(ann$\_{R}$(M)) = Supp(M) $\bigcap$ V(ann$\_{R}$(M)), and (3) for every ideal I of R, The ideal $\theta$(M) = $\sum$$\_{m(Rm :R M) of R has proved useful in studying multiplication modules. We generalize this ideal to prove the following result: Let R be a commutative ring with identity, P $\in$ Spec(R), and M a non-zero R-module satisfying (1) M is a finitely generated multiplication module, (2) PM is a multiplication module, and (3) P$^{n}$M$\neq$P$^{n+1}$ for every positive integer n, then $\bigcap$$^{$\_{n=1}$(P$^{n}$ + ann$\_{R}$(M)) $\in$ V(ann$\_{R}$(M)) = Supp(M) $\subseteq$ N(M).

  • R1234yf has been developed as an alternative refrigerant to R134a, which has been associated with global warming. The capillary tubes as expansion valves control the mass flow rate and balance system pressure in the refrigeration cycle. The present numerical model used the governing equations including the law of conservation of mass, momentum, and energy in a capillary tube. The mass flow rate of R1234yf decreased by 47.0% as the capillary tube length was increased from 1 to 4 m. As the inner diameter of the capillary tubes was changed from 1.3 to 1.7 mm, the mass flow rate of R134a and R1234yf increased by 117.9% and 121.0%, respectively. The mass flow rate of the R134a and R1234yf increased by 28.3% and 29.1% with subcooling increasing from 0 to $7^{\circ}C$. In addition, when the inlet temperature of the capillary tubes was changed from 35 to $60^{\circ}C$, the mass flow rate of R134a and R1234yf increased by 31.0% and 45.4%, respectively.

  • Let $C^r$[0,t] be the function space of the vector-valued continuous paths x : [0,t] ${\rightarrow}$ $R^r$ and define $X_t$ : $C^r$[0,t] ${\rightarrow}$ $R^{(n+1)r}$ and $Y_t$ : $C^r$[0,t] ${\rightarrow}$ $R^{nr}$ by $X_t(x)$ = (x($t_0$), x($t_1$), ..., x($t_{n-1}$), x($t_n$)) and $Y_t$(x) = (x($t_0$), x($t_1$), ..., x($t_{n-1}$)), respectively, where 0 = $t_0$ < $t_1$ < ... < $t_n$ = t. In the present paper, with the conditioning functions $X_t$ and $Y_t$, we introduce two simple formulas for the conditional expectations over $C^r$[0,t], an analogue of the r-dimensional Wiener space. We establish evaluation formulas for the analogues of the analytic Wiener and Feynman integrals for the function $G(x)=\exp{{\int}_0^t{\theta}(s,x(s))d{\eta}(s)}{\psi}(x(t))$, where ${\theta}(s,{\cdot})$ and are the Fourier-Stieltjes transforms of the complex Borel measures on ${\mathbb{R}}^r$. Using the simple formulas, we evaluate the analogues of the conditional analytic Wiener and Feynman integrals of the functional G.
