  • This study defined three elements of game ability and effectiveness that functional games must have in a cross-media environment where one content is distributed through various media through previous research. We sought to reveal the impact of each element on the relevant content and cross-media content, as well as the impact when cross-media content is used in parallel. To this end, a case of digital content using a picture book and a smartphone app targeting traditional craft learning was produced by itself, and the results of its use were collected as a questionnaire. As a result, the effectiveness of the three effectiveness factors of functional games was confirmed, and the relationship between the cross-media environment and content was revealed, revealing the positive possibility of using cross-media.

  • This essay aims at clarifying Dasan Jeong Yagyong's view on Jingfang's yaobian theory. As is well known, Jingfang was a scholar of the Earlier Han period who exerted a profound influence on the theoretical development of Xiangshu School by creating the various techniques for interpreting the Zhouyi. Jingfang is also important in relation with Dasan's commentary of the Zhouyi, because some part of Dasan's interpreting techniques are thought to have their origin in Jinfang. For example, Dasan used the bigua theory of which the origin could be traced back into Jingfang. However, in this article, I did not deal with the bigua theory because I am going to write another article about it. In stead, my focus will be put on analyzing how Dasan evaluated Jingfang's yaobian theory. The main issues of my argument can be summarized as following. Firstly, in terms of yaobian, Jeong Yagyong called attention to Jingfang's annotation on the Zhouyi in which Jingfang utilized the yaobian method in three occasions, i.e., the first nine of the Qian(乾初九), the sixth nine of the Guan(觀上九), and the sixth nine of the Bo(剝上九). It seems that Jeong Yagyong set forth enough evidence about Jingfang's use of yaobian at least in relation to two cases of the first nine of the Qian and the sixth nine of the Bo, while the other evidence of the sixth nine of the Guan was not so persuasive. However, even if it is evident that Jingfang made use of the yaobain in two cases, there is no reason to equate it with that of Dasan. If one takes a close look, it becomes clear that Jingfang's way of yaobain is very different from Dasan's. Secondly, Jeong Yagyong mentioned Jiayi(賈誼) who lived about one hundred years before Jingfang, as the person who utilized the yaobian in his book of Xinshu(新書). If it is certain that Jiayi was aware of the yaobian, we can assume that the yaobian technique had been handed down from Jiayi to Jingfang. The manuscript excavated from the Mawangdui tomb also increases the possibility that Jiayi could have had the knowledge on the yaobian. In the chapter of Muhe(繆和) of the Mawangdui Zhouyi, there appears the phrase, i.e., "the first six of the qian, qian goes to mingyi," which shows exactly the same form of the yaobian in the Mr Zuo's Spring and Autumn Annals(春秋左氏傳). The burial period of Mawangdui tomb is estimated at the same year of B.C.168 in which Jiayi died. Therefore, judging from that fact, it becomes evident that the yaobain method was widely diffused around B.C.168. Subsequently, it is possible to infer that the yaobian method had been handed down from the period of Jiayi to Jingfang. If we could present the persuasive evidence to support that inference, it would also have the effect of consolidating Dasan's argument about the yaobian.

  • Traditionally, the concept of transfer is that physical records such as paper documents, videos, photos are made a delivery to Archives or Records centers on the basis of transfer guidelines. But, with the automation of records management environment and spreading new records creation and management applications, we can create records and manage them in the cyberspace. In these reasons, the existing transfer system is that we move filed records to Archives or Records centers by paper boxes, needs to be changed. Under the needing conditions of a new transfer paradigm, the fact that the revision of Records Act that include some provisions about electronic records management and transfer, is desirable and proper. Nevertheless, the electronic transfer provisions are too conceptional to apply records management practice, so we have to develop detailed methods and processes. In this context, this paper suggest that a electronic records transfer process model on the basis of international standard and foreign countries' cases. Doing transfer records is one of the records management courses to use valuable records in the future. So, both producer and archive have to transfer records itself and context information to long-term preservation repository according to the transfer guidelines. In the long run, transfer comes to be the conclusion that records are moved to archive by a formal transfer process with taking a proper records protection steps. To accomplish these purposes, I analyzed the 'OAIS Reference Model' and 'Producer-Archive Interface Methodology Abstract Standard-CCSDS Blue Book' which is made by CCSDS(Consultative committee for Space Data Systems). but from both the words of 'Reference Model' and 'Standard', we can understand that these standard are not suitable for applying business practice directly. To solve this problem, I also analyzed foreign countries' transfer cases. Through the analysis of theory and case, I suggest that an Electronic Records Transfer Process Model which is consist of five sub-process that are 'Ingest prepare ${\rightarrow}$ Ingest ${\rightarrow}$ Validation ${\rightarrow}$ Preservation ${\rightarrow}$ Archival storage' and each sub-process also have some transfer elements. Especially, to confirm the new process model's feasibility, after classifying two types - one is from Public Records center to Public Archive, the other is from Civil Records center to Public or Civil Archive - of Korean Transfer, I made the new Transfer Model applied to the two types of transfer cases.

  • The main purpose of this study was to present the basic materials that help the nursing of the infants and consultation of childcare by examinating the knowledge and practice of the mothers about the weaning diet. The data for this study was collected from 205 mothers with infants(6-36 months) who visited two hospitals or one university hospital in Seoul, who were living in one apartment Suwon area between July. 7. and September 10, 2000. The 57 questionnaires were used for collecting the data and SAS program was used to analyse the data. The results are as follows. 1. The items of low score in the result of the knowledge data were as follows. [Initial weaning time, the important nutritional problem in infant, considering factor during feeding, the relation of proper weaning food & age, the time of used by cup, to apply of proper spicies in weaning food, the time of completing weaning, the time of stopping weaning at abnormal sign, and the inappopriate reason of dry mixed powdered food (Sunsik) as a weaning food.] 2. Higher educated mothers presented more high score than lower educated mothers in the knowledge about the weaning. (p<0.05) 3. Before the weaning, more mothers were using the commercial milk (51.2%) than the breast milk (13.2%). 4. Mothers get the knowledge about the weaning from the infants care book of cook books(26.4%). 68% of mothers had not received any consulting service with regard to the weaning, 10.2% of them consulted Pediatrician about the weaning and 0.5% of them with nurse. 5. Most mothers began supplymentary food, from four to six months (65.4%). the ratio was about the same as the ratio of mothers who knEw the appropriate time for the introduction of supplymentary food(83.2%) 6. The main solid food was commercial food, not home-prepared food. 7. Higher educated mothers used home-prepared weaning food more often than lower educated mothers(P<0.05). 8. The used rate by spoon was 57.4%, but the rate of mother's knowledge data was 95.0%. 9. The time of completing the weaning was in 12-18 months(53.8%). It is similar to the mother's knowledge data(52.7%) Conclusion ; According to knowledge data, it turns out that most mothers know moderatly about the weaning (everage 60/100). However their knowledge and practice on the methods & procedures on the weaning were inadquate. Especially, most mothers did not consult with those qualification about the weaning. Therefore, the role of the nurse as a provider of information on the weaning should be emphasized with varied educational programs in many health care center.

  • ${\ll}$Gup Yu Bang${\gg}$ is the first korean book that specialized in pediatrics. It was written by Jo Jeong-jun in 1869 and contains 87 medical records. Medical records is one of the best way to develop one’s abilities of curing a disease without clinical practice and understanding medical condition of the time. These days we are fully aware of the importance of medical records, but there is no sufficient paper or study on medical records. On this study, we investigate 87 medical record of ${\ll}$Gup Yu Bang${\gg}$ by statistical methods. It was analyzed on the base of items such as age, sex, disease, method of medical treatment, treating prescription, modified medicinal substance, progress of disease. ${\ll}$Gup Yu Bang${\gg}$ contain 87 medical records and among of them, 84 records were Jo Jeong-jun own writings of clinical case. Systemic division of disease showed the highest in digestive disease and most frequent case was symptom of vomiting and diarrhea. The distribution of age was showed the highest in the age group under 5 years and the number of male case was more than female case. It showed that he considered observation of the patient's expression in diagnosis methods and have used 87 kinds of treating prescription and the external treatment, acupuncture, moxa. It showed that he quoted a lot of treating prescription from ${\ll}$Dong eui bo gam${\gg}$, ${\ll}$Yi-Hak-Yip-Mun${\gg}$ and ${\ll}$Xiao Er Yao Zheang Zhi Jue${\gg}$. The further study on medical records in traditional medical literatures, would reveal the developmental progress of Korean pediatrics and inform more actual proof on medical condition of the time.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in the cooking process of $Pat-juk$(red beans porridge), $Jat-juk$(pine-nut porridge) and $Tarak-juk$(milk porridge) in cooking books published after Korean modern era, approximately from late 19th century to the present. We analyzed 11 historical cook books were analyzed. It is found that the amount of red beans used for $Pat-juk$ was the same or more than that of rice but never less than rice. Only one cook book suggested sugar as seasoning for final taste, but all the other cook books mentioned salt for final taste. $Hangukeumat$(1987) suggested the method for obtaining optimum color for $Pat-juk$. After smashing and passing through the cooked red beans, collecting the red bean water to boil first and then adding the passed through red beans to boil together, in which rice will be added the last to be boiled. For $Jat-juk$, the ratio of the amount of pine-nut and rice were varied among cook books that the amount of pine-nut can be more, same or less than rice. $Jat-juk$ can have salty or sweet, so sugar, honey or salt were used for final seasoning. Pine-nut and rice were cooked together or cooked successively depending on cook books. The changes in cooking procedures of $Tarak-juk$ were the portion of milk used and the method of preparing rice before making the porridge. Firstly, the portion of milk increased over time. $Tarak-juk$ can be also tasting both sweet or salty, so sugar or salt was used for final seasoning. Secondly, two method of preparing rice were found; one is that rice was ground after soaking in water and the other is that rice was ground and toasted before putting into the porridge. When the ground rice was toasted, the milk was added with water at the same time because the cooking time of the porridge with toasted rice was shortened so that the milk could be added earlier than the other method without the risk of sticking on the bottom of the pot. In further studies, the cooking procedures used in the previous period of the late 19th century should be examined. Also after restoring all the cooking methods suggested in cook books, the comparison of the sensorial and nutritional value needs to be carried out for applying or reinventing new recipe for food industry.

  • Topophilia refers to emotional bonding such as attachment to or nostalgia for one's home town, which is remembered or imagined as a beautiful and happy paradise experienced in youth. The time spent in one's home town may have been short, but the associated memories of it are strong and enduring. These can later act as a strong motivator to learn if the correlated emotions are positive. According to archival research conducted on Jooyoung Chung's life, his home town and the things found therein, such as cows, were the principal objects of his topophilia, and later became the driving forces behind his success story. The same applies to Dvorak. Dvorak sublimated his nostalgia for his home town by composing a piece of music on hearing the sound of a train. We can discover diverse rhythms in nature such as sunrises and sunsets, the changing seasons, and even our heart beat. If a melody is added to the rhythm, it transforms into art. And if we seek harmony and principles, it becomes science. In this study, Jeonbuk's nature, places, food, and arts, as represented in its educational resources, are analysed for their ability to give rise to topophilia. To gain some experience of this feeling we recommend that you visit the Jeonju Hanok Village, the value of Gochujang, reverse icespike on Mai Mountain or enjoy the works of the painter Book Choi.

  • Of the collection of public libraries in Korea, the literature collection is the largest, and Korean fictions, about 14% of the entire collection constitute the largest single subject. However, in the Korean Decimal Classification(KDC) Korean fiction is represented in one section, that is, 813 which corresponds to the only one of thousand divisions. More specifically, only two sub-sections, 813.6 and 813.7 are supposed to be assigned to the huge collection of modern Korean fiction, and, in reality, only 813.6 is being used in most libraries. Even with the use of book numbers, such disproportionate allocation of classification numbers would definitely lower the discriminative capacity of call numbers given to each item. It would also bring about difficulties in both shelving, on the libraries' side, and finding items from shelf, on the users' side. This study aims to examine the issues related to classifying Korean fictions in public libraries, including the composition of KDC schedules and the actual practice of classification, and then proposes the measures for improving the classification of Korean fictions.

  • This study was undertaken to identify effects of the peer group reading program (PGRP) on the tenacity, self-resilience, and adaptation to university life of new entrants to the university. This was a non-equivalence control group quasi-experimental research study design. The subjects examined were entrants at the S University. The experimental group was provided the PGRP, and the control group was provided a general program for 13 weeks. The PGRP consisted of three or four students per group. Each group read one book for one week. Subsequently, all students gathered and presented their reading reports and discussed their comments, once a week. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test and t-test to compare the differences between both groups. A total of 73 subjects were included in the study: 34 in the experimental group and 39 in the control group. There were no significant differences in the general characteristics between the groups. Furthermore, no significant differences were observed between both groups before the intervention; however, the experimental group showed improved tenacity (p<0.01) and self-resilience (p=0.020) after the intervention, which were significantly different between both groups. Our results indicate the requirement to develop and apply various reading programs for improving the personality, self-resilience, and college life adaptability of university entrants.
