For an irreducible binomial polynomial $f(x)=x^n-b{\in}K[x]$ with a field K, we ask when does the mth iteration $f_m$ is irreducible but $m+1th\;f_{m+1}$ is reducible over K. Let S(n, m) be the set of b's such that $f_m$ is irreducible but $f_{m+1}$ is reducible over K. We investigate the set S(n, m) by taking K as the rational number field.

We prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the generalized quadratic functional equation $$f(rx\;+\;sy)\;=\;r^2f(x)\;+\;s^2f(y)\;+\;\frac{rs}{2}[f(x\;+\;y)\;-\;f(x\;-\;y)]$$ in fuzzy Banach spaces, where r, s are non-zero rational numbers with $r^2\;+\;s^2\;{\neq}\;1$.

The purposes of the study is to evaluate the discrepancy between user's expectation and satisfaction degree in the service of uTradeHub. In this regard, this study infers general solutions in order to induce the intersection area using IPA technique. Then this paper will present directions to improve the service of uTradeHub. In terms of methodology, this article disclosed that IPA model approach is greatly useful to evaluate user's attribute. First, variables like the link of different works(f1), trust of system(f4), information connection(f7) are located on the first quadrant. This means that importance and satisfaction are all high variables for user. So, this is very important variables that need continuous administration in order to maintain present state. Second, variables such as the speed of information acquisition(f2), improvement of use(f3), stability of system(f5) are located on the second quadrant. This means that user's importance is high but user's satisfaction is low. Therefore, this area needs an active improvement strategy and quick maintenance for e-Trade application. Third, variables like the appropriateness of information usage fees(f8), easy subscription(f9), customer support service(f10) are located on the third quadrant. Because these variables are all low for user's importance and satisfaction, we have to arrange strong and radical remedy for e-Trade service. Finally, variables like information offer(f6) are located on the fourth quadrant. This means that user's satisfaction is high but user's importance is low. The research result suggests that e-Trade service development would be re-organised as much as user feels the importance of process innovation.

2000년 8월 충남 부여의 장미 재배지에서 채집한 점박이응애가 etoxazole에 대해 3,700배의 저항성을 나타내었다. 이 집단을 실내에서 3년 동안 etoxazole로 100회 이상 도태하여 5,000,000배 이상의 저항성계통을 얻었다. 이 계통은 약제처리 없는 조건 하에서 1년 이상 경과된 후에도 암컷 성충의 etoxazole에 대한 저항성 수준은 변화가 없었다. 이 저항성계통의 유전과 교차저항성 유무를 조사하였다. 감수성계통 수컷과 저항성계통 암컷을 상호 교배( $R_{♂}$${\times}$ $S_{♂}$)하여 얻은 $F_1$과 $F_2$의 우성도는 각각 0.98과 0.98로 완전우성이었으며, $S_{♀}$${\times}$ $R_{♂}$으로 상호 교배하여 얻은 $F_1$과 $F_2$의 우성도는 각각 -0.97과 -0,68로 불완전열성이었다. 따라서 etoxazole저항성을 지배하는 유전인자는 수컷보다 암컷성충에 의존하여 완전우성에 의해 지배되는 것으로 나타났다. 이 저항성 성충은 acequinocyl과 emamectin benzoate에 대해 각각 10.4배와 14.0배의 교차저항성을 나타내었고, 알은 milbemectin, amitraz, pyridaben에 대해 각각 52.0배, 14.6배, 9.4배의 교차저항성을 나타내었다. 한편 카바제이트계 살비제인 bifenazate에 대해서는 역상관 교차저항성을 나타내었으므로, etoxazole에 저항성을 보이는 농가에서는 bifenazate를 교호살포하면 점박이응애를 효율적으로 방제할 수 있을 것이다

Very recently the authors have obtained a very interesting reduction formula for the Srivastava's triple hypergeometric series $F^{(3)}$(x, y, z) by applying the so-called Beta integral method to the Henrici's triple product formula for the hypergeometric series. In this sequel, we also present three more interesting reduction formulas for the function $F^{(3)}$(x, y, z) by using the well known identities due to Bailey and Ramanujan. The results established here are simple, easily derived and (potentially) useful.

결정입계를 갖는 $CaF_{2}$ 결정을 annealing할 때, 내부에 존재하는 bubbles의 거동을 결정학적으로 분석하였다. 이들 bubbles는 결정 내에서 일어나는 slip 현상처럼 $CaF_{2}$ 결정구조에 의존하여 특정한 방향으로 배향되어 있음이 확인되었다. 또한, AFM(atomic force microscope)으로 분석한 결과, 이들의 움직임은 negative grain growth에 의한 S-surface를 형성하고 있음이 관찰되었다.

For a map f : A $\rightarrow$ X, we define and study a concept of $G^f$-space for a map, which is a generalized one of a G-space. Any G-space is a $G^f$-space, but the converse does not hold. In fact, $S^2$ is a $G^{\eta}$-space, but not G-space. We show that X is a $G^f$-space if and only if $G_n$(A, f,X) = $\pi_n(X)$ for all n. It is clear that any $H^f$-space is a $G^f$-space and any $G^f$-space is a $W^f$-space. We can also obtain some results about $G^f$-spaces in Postnikov systems for spaces, which are generalization of Haslam's results about G-spaces.

The effect of topical application on the number of S. mutans was tested in a group of 44 orthodontic patients (mean age, 12Y 3M). They were divided into 5 groups according to the method using NaF and $SnF_2$. The number of S. mutans CFU were counted in stimulated saliva of each subject at baseline, and after one, two, three, and eight weeks. The following results were obtained. 1. In NaF rinsing group, and NaF topical application and NaF rinsing group, the number of S. mutans per ml saliva was not significantly changed. 2. In $SnF_2$ topical application group, and $SnF_2$ topical and NaF rinsing group, the number of S. mutans per ml saliva was significantly reduced. 3. After 8 weeks, there were no significant reduction of the number of S. mutans in comparison with baseline.

The taxonomic status and phylogenetic relationship of Opuntia monacantha Haw. f. jejuensis J. K. Kim ex Y. S. Yang (Jejubaiknyuncho), which is native to southern coast of Jeju Island, Korea was analyzed using DNA markers obtained from Korean Opuntia. Opuntia stricta Haw., O. humifusa Raf., and O. humifusa Raf. f. jeollaensis E. J. Kim and S. S. Whang, native or cultivated in Korea, have no stripes on the back of tepals and have a purple pulp, whereas O. monacantha f. jejuensis has purple stripes on the back of tepals and a greenish-yellow pulp color. Opuntia monacantha has purple stripes on both the front and back of its tepals, whereas stripes appear only on the back of tepals of O. monacantha f. jejuensis. Opuntia monacantha f. jejuensis was assigned to Elatae series in phylogenetic analysis and was found to be more closely related to O. monacantha subsp. arechavaletae (Speg.) Guiggi, compared with O. monacantha at a molecular level. Based on its phylogenetic and morphological differences from O. monacantha and O. monacantha subsp. arechavaletae, which are native or have been cultivated in Jeju areas, O. monacantha f. jejuensis was named as a new forma in this study.

혼합 방사선장에서 LiF 열형광 선량계에 의한 중성자 선량측정법에 고나해 연구하였다. 혼합 방사선장에서 중성자선량을 선택적으로 측정하고 평가하기 위해서 $^{6}$LiF 와 $^{7}$LiF 선량계를 속중성자 선량과 열중성자 선량측정에 이용하였다. 개인 방사선 피폭 선량측정에 사용키 위한 보정상수를 유도하였고 중성자와 감마선 선량측정을 위한 그로우곡선을 분석하였다.
