  • Due to importance of the concepts of ${\theta}$-closure and ${\delta}$-closure, it is natural to try for their extensions to fuzzy topological spaces. So, Ganguly and Saha introduced and investigated the concept of fuzzy ${\delta}$-closure by using the concept of quasi-coincidence in fuzzy topological spaces. In this paper, we will introduce the concept of ${\delta}$-closure in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces, which is a generalization of the ${\delta}$-closure by Ganguly and Saha.

  • OSMI(Ocean Scanning Multi-Spectral Imager) raw image data(Level 0) were acquired and radiometrically corrected. We have applied two methods, using solar & dark calibration data from OSMI sensor and comparing with the SeaWiFS data, to the radiometric correction of OSMI raw image data. First, we could get the values of the gain and the offset for each pixel and each band from comparing the solar & dark calibration data with the solar input radiance values, calculated from the transmittance, BRDF (Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function) and the solar incidence angle($\beta$, $\theta$) of OSMI sensor. Applying this calibration data to OSMI raw image data, we got the two odd results, the lower value of the radiometric corrected image data than the expected value, and the Venetian Blind Effect in the radiometric corrected image data. Second, we could get the reasonable results from comparing OSMI raw image data with the SeaWiFS data, and get a new problem of OSMI sensor.

  • English segments adopted into Korean can be divided into three types: Some English segments /$m, {\;}n, {\;}{\eta}, {\;}p^h, {\;}t^h, {\;}k^h$/ are adopted into the original sound [$m, {\;}n, {\;}{\eta}, {\;}p^h, {\;}t^h, {\;}k^h$] in Korean. Other segments /b, d, g/ appear in the voiceless stop form [p, t, k]. Generative Phonology explains the presence of the above English segments in Korean but it cannot explain why the English segments /$f, {\;}v, {\;}{\Theta}, {\;}{\breve{z}}, {\;}{\breve{c}}, {\;}{\breve{j}}$/ disappear during the adopting process. I present a set of universal constraints from the Optimality Theory proposed by Prince and Smolensky(l993) and I show how English segments differently adopted into Korean can be explained by these universal constraints such as Faith(feature). N oAffricateStop, Faith(nasal), NoNasalStop, Faith(voice), NoVoicedStop and the interaction of these constraints. I conclude that this Optimality Theory provides insights that better capture the nature of the phonological phenomena of English segments in Korean.

  • A numerical simulation is carried out mixed convection in horizontal channel with a heat source from below of rectangular cavity. Finite volume method was employed for the discretization and PISO algorithm was used for calculating pressure term. The parameters governing the problem are the Reynolds number ($10^{-2}{\leq}Re{\leq}50$), the Rayleigh number ($10^3{\leq}Ra{\leq}2.06{\times}10^5$), the Prandtl number ($0.72{\leq}Pr{\leq}909$), the aspect ratio ($0.5{\leq}AR=W/H{\leq}2$) and the angle of inclination ($0^{\circ}{\theta}60^{\circ}$). Mean Nusselt number distributions were obtained and effect of Reynolds number, Rayleigh number and Prandtl number on mixed convection in the horizontal channel with rectangular cavity were investigated.

  • A ductile fracture criterion, which has already proposed, namely, ($\Delta$1/1o)f at $\Delta$$\sigma$ m=(($\Delta$1/1o)f+(-1/tan$\theta$)$\Delta$$\sigma$m(where ($\Delta$1/1o)f is fracture elongation, $\Delta$$\sigma$m is mean stress variation) was made use of to study the working limit in axisymmetric extrusion. The present investigation is concerned with the application of theory on flow and fracture to the prediction of workability of materials in axisymmetric bar extrusion, with special reference to central bursting. The influenced of die geometry and manufacturing conditions on the central bursting are predicted.

  • This paper presents a method of calculating the stress intensity factor (K) and crack propagation direction (${\theta}_0$) at the crack-tip that is associated with delamination in the large scale integration(LSI) package. To establish a reasonable strength evaluation method and life prediction, it is necessary to assess fracture parameters under various fracture conditions. Therefore, we conducted quantitative stress singularity analysis considering thermal stress simulating the changes of crack length (a), (h) and (v) in delamination using the 2-dimensional elastic boundary element method (BEM), and from these results predicted crack propagation direction and path.

  • An experimental parametric study of a tubular heat exchanger has been carried out far the saturated water at atmospheric pressure to determine effects of tube inclination on pool boiling heat transfer. For the analysis, seven inclination angles(0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, and 90°) and two tube diameters(12.7 and 19.1 mm) were tested. According to the results, inclination angles result in very much change on pool boiling heat transfer. As the inclination angle is around horizontal or vertical, maximum or minimum heat transfer is expected, respectively. For the same wall superheat(about 5.5K) the ratio between two heat fluxes fur $\theta$ =15° and 75° has the value of more than five when the tube diameter is 12.7 mm and heat flux is increasing.

  • In this study, a dicing machine with vision system was built and an algorithm for automatic alignment was developed for dual camera system. The system had a macro and a micro inspection tool. The algorithm was formulated from geometric relations. When a wafer was put on the cutting stage within certain range, it was inspected by vision system and compared with a standard pattern. The difference between the patterns was analyzed and evaluated. Then, the stage was moved by x, y, $\theta$ axes to compensate these differences. The amount of compensation was calculated from the result of the vision inspection through the automatic alignment algorithm. The stage was moved to the compensated position and was inspected by vision for checking its result again. Accuracy and validity of the algorithm was discussed from these data.

  • The micro fabrication on the mold material using picosecond laser ablation processing has been studied. We used the two kind of system with picosecond laser. First one is two mirror type scanner and telecentric f-theta lens. Second one is X-Y stage and objective lens. By using these system, the $100{\mu}m$ size chess patterning and $2{\mu}m$ size patterning was fabricated. Especially $2{\mu}m$ size patterning on the mold material can be used as the decorative rainbow color logo for industrial field. In this paper, it is proved the picosecond laser is effective tool for the laser ablation processing.
